We hired them to replace an anode rod due to us not having the right tools. Unbelievable the price of $420 to replace the customer provided rod. I do appreciate that the specialist found that our pressure release value was bad and that was an additional $150. Update: Damien arrived around 7:00 PM and quickly diagnosed the problem. It turned out to be a clogged condensate drain line, and the system's safety shutoff (float switch) prevented water from overflowing into our ceiling. He explained everything clearly, cleared the drain, and also recommended using better air filters to help prevent future issues. We're very grateful for his professionalism and expertise. That said, I'm still disappointed with the scheduling and communication. We invested nearly $30,000 in a brand-new HVAC system installed in 2024. When the system stopped working during 115-degree weather, we called for service and were told the earliest appointment was the following day between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. We were also told the technician would call 30 minutes before arriving. We never received that call. After waiting through the entire appointment window, we had to call the company ourselves and were then told the technician was running late and that the new arrival window was 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. While I appreciate Damien's excellent service and am thankful the problem was resolved, I hope the company improves its communication with customers. When families are without air conditioning in extreme Arizona heat, timely updates are just as important as the repair itself. read more

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with, after 4 attempts to fix a 17,000.00 unit, that's only 4 years old, and resent visit , did not take care of the problem!! This problem was because of how they originally placed the unit. We've been air conditioning Arizona, last bill was just shy of 700.. I want this unit removed from my house. I realized that my AC went out at 6am and had been out since at least midnight. I callled Goettl around 6:30 and was able to make a same day appointment with arrival time between 9-11. Christian arrived at approximately 8:30. He was extremely thorough and showed me all the pictures he took of my AC unit. He even helped me look into financing options for new units. Before he left he gave me 2 stuffed "Sadie's" for my kids. While the price of a new unit with Goettl is out of my budget, the customer service was well worth what I paid for the temporary fix to my unit. Edit: today while looking over the notes on my invoice I read this: "I let my manager Mike S know of situation, we will do the bare minimum band-aid option to get some cooling" in reference to being unable to secure financing for a new AC unit. While the customer service from Christian was impeccable, this note made me feel that because I was unable to secure financing for a $15,000 unit my situation was not as important because it was not as profitable. Prior to reading the note I would've definitely recommended Goettl based completely on Christian's professionalism and friendliness. After reading the note I would say be prepared for the "bare minimum" if you don't have at least $15,000 readily available. 2nd edit: the temporary $1028.00 fix that Christian stated numerous times would "get thru the summer" lasted all of 7 days. Update: Received a sales call on 1/12. Asked to please have my number removed from their list. I was told it would be removed. Received calls on 1/19, 1/28, 2/24 and 2/25 where I repeated my request to be removed and each time I was told that I would be. read more

I would not recommend Goettl based on my experience. I purchased their top-tier 4-star, two-stage system on June 13, 2026 after being advised that repairing my 11-year-old unit wasn't worthwhile. The system was installed the same day, but it failed within 24 hours. Since installation, we've had six service calls. Different technicians have blamed low refrigerant, a frozen coil, zoning, a failed TXV valve, and a control board issue. Parts have been replaced, refrigerant has been added twice, yet the system still shuts down or fails to cool our home reliably. Despite repeatedly stating the unit was "working at 100%," it continued to malfunction. The most frustrating part has been the lack of accountability. When I asked why a brand-new system was already low on refrigerant and requested a leak test, I was told one wasn't necessary. The technician then left without repairing the system after saying our conversation was "verbally abusive," even though no profanity or personal insults were used. He also left my attic access panel damaged. We've missed two days of work, had to leave our home because of the heat, and spent nights sleeping in our toy hauler. Management has offered no meaningful resolution beyond continuing to troubleshoot with the manufacturer. A brand-new HVAC system should not require this many service calls in its first two weeks. If you're looking for a reliable installation and responsive customer service, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I called for 3 days and no one returned my call. 2. they withdrew funds from my account before completion of work which is a breech to the service agreement. i had planned to use another valid account for payment but due to this action screwed up and drained my other account they withdrew funds from. I want to be refunded in full. 3. I had paid for membership and was never given the membership agreement to review. I want to cancel and they say they will charge me.......I am totally dissatisfied with this company and will warn anyone and everyone about doing business with these guys. read more

If you are considering using this company for anything HVAC related, please avoid at all costs. Use this review as a reference for their poor service and poor quality in ACs. March of 2026, we brought our newborn baby home to an AC that would not work, Samuel Ripley came out to fix it, and it worked for about two months. So come 7/5 2026, we called them out again, Michael Gardner told us we need a whole brand new AC to fix the problem. We spoke with Cody the manager and he sold us an AC that cost us over 20 thousand dollars (looked up the real cost of the AC they installed and it's a mediocre AC worth maybe 4 thousand at the most.) Cody assured we'd have no more issues after this new AC would be installed since he too has a similar system and said this new AC would fix all our current problems. They installed it shortly after purchasing and almost immediately after installation, we're having problems again. It won't stay at the temperature we set it to, upstairs would cool but then downstairs wouldn't, etc. We call them out again 7/9, Ronald Dumas says a part is broken and Cody tells us it will cost us 2 thousand dollars. We say no of course cause it's under warranty. So they don't fix the problem, instead they pop a vent open saying that will help, and that night our upstairs froze us, went into the low 60s when it was set at 75 and the downstairs stayed hot. Called them out again the following day but they wouldn't answer. Had to call a Goettl branch in Nevada and they set up a service time for us right away since this branch wouldn't answer. Then after reporting one of the manager's (Cody) for trying to charge us 2 thousand, we got a call from Eric saying it would no longer cost us and they would do their job and replace the broken damper under warranty like it should've been in the first place, he even mentioned we never should've been quoted any cost for the new damper by Cody since it was all under warranty. Then they sent out Andrew Gonzalez on 7/10 to fix the damper but after he got here, he found an improper installation issue as well. They also sent him over with the wrong damper so he wasn't able to actually fix it. On 7/17, they finally sent a guy out to fix the damper and the instillation issue, Juan Colmenero. It worked for a few days and then yet again, the temperature kept rising and one of the AC filters got sucked up into the duct because of another issue they had caused. They sent more people out on 7/21 Ivan Guerrero to assess the issue and he found yet another problem, a different damper needing replacement and said the barometric damper adjuster was not working properly. So on 7/24 they sent out Luis Galicia to fix that issue (this was yesterday from the time I'm writing this review).They came to fix the damper but we're not given the right one yet again so they were here for an extra hour just waiting for the correct parts to be dropped off. They left saying the system is working properly acording to our documents. And now here we are today 7/25 not even 24 hours later and the temp is set to 75 degrees and the entire house is 81. We also asked a few days ago to be called by someone above the general manager Cody (he stopped returning our texts/calls after he was called out for trying to breach our warranty) and we have received no calls. I almost never write reviews for companies even after a poor experience but this is absolutely unacceptable. I wrote a previous review a few weeks back about the issues we'd been experiencing but Cody asked us directly to take it down and he would have these issues resolved immediately. So we trusted them to do the right thing and took the review down but clearly, it was not actually resolved. We will be reporting them to BBB as well as the ROC and seeking further legal action if necessary. They charge insane prices for poor quality products as well as terrible service that never actually fixes your AC issues. If we could return this AC and start over with an entirely new company, we would in a heartbeat. I'm hoping I could save others from the mistake of getting stuck with Goettl. read more

Goettl called me Monday night to schedule our "30 day" system review. I picked Tuesday 1-5 pm (I hate the 4-hour window). Tuesday came and went with no tech. To make matters worse we had friends come in from out of town who wanted to hang out. We called the automated system and were told our appointment was actually for Wednesday 8-12. I was mad, because I hate to have my time wasted but ok, one time, not a big deal. Wednesday morning came and went. I was upset. I called, they apologized and I said I understand but I would like to talk to a manager. An hour later a customer service tech called me saying the manager told them to call (By the way, if middle or upper management reads this, please help the manager find their balls. That was a ball less move). They said they made a mistake on Tuesday and set the appointment for Wednesday. They said the tech was running late and would be out 1-5. I was mad but okay. 8 PM, I get a phone call that the tech was still busy but they would try and get someone to the house by 10 PM. On a week night. Fully knowing most people work early the next day. I seriously feel like this was them trying to placate me and having nobody available to come at that time. They PROMISED me the supervisor would be out Friday morning to help me. Guess what? Yep, Friday morning comes and goes without even a courtesy call or notification. About 2:30 PM, I get a text that the tech is on the way. I felt it was a lie but I still told my wife to put the dog up and get ready for the tech. AN hour later, I received a phone call that the tech was delayed and would not be out until he finished up with what he was doing. By 6:45 PM, still no tech. I called and they said they would try and get another tech to come out. This is our experience. The worst part is we had two other companies wanting to do the install and I foolishly went with GOETTL. I feel that once they receive your money, you go to the bottom of their list. Please, please look at the other offers, as Goettl does not have good customer service and their promises are like a fart in the wind. read more

In May of this year I purchased a new air conditioner from these people. I was going through a very hard time of my life and my air conditioner broke. I couldn't even even think so I called the first company that came to mind. I decided I wanted to go someplace big so that it would be quick and easy. I know that they overcharged me quite a bit, but I couldn't even think about getting multiple quotes at the time. I just wanted to get it done so I didn't have to worry about having a broken air conditioner for summer. I didn't want to have to call people out multiple times to get it looked at ,in the end, that is what happened a brand new unit I had to call on. In the past two months I've had to call at least six times, this unit seems to be faulty. They have already had to replace the compressor on it. I'm very nervous that I will have lifelong problems with this unit multiple times they were out and they did not offer any resolution besides bringing us portable coolers that broke within a couple of hours. They did not offer to put us into a hotel. They have not offered to take any money off of the brand new unit I bought. Everytime they came out they said they fixed it temporary and that we would hear back from somebody on a resolution. We would never hear back. then it would break a couple weeks later and I would have to call frantically trying to get someone out right away. They came out about a week ago to replace the compressor last night I cooked dinner for my family the house was 80° by the time I was done and stayed 80 for the next four hours. We were not even able to enjoy our family time. I should be able to cook without the house getting so hot. I at a loss. I want a resolution and nobody will give it to me. if I could give any advice use someone else! read more
