We had a clog in an upstairs toilet, which was very far past the length of my "snake" tool. He showed up early, very affable & knowledgeable. He agreed with my guess of the plumbing issue (clog due to use of wet wipes). Within 20-25min, he had it all resolved & toilet / plumbing restored to normal. He went the extra mile by taking his time in cleaning up, wiping down the work area & disposing of the abhorrent mess of rotting wet wipes which he'd expertly removed from the pipe. This is my second time using Gogo Rooter for plumbing work. This time I've been helped by Angel, who was an amazing technician to work with. He diagnosed the issue, installed a city cleanout and replaced our sewer line between the existing house cleanout and the new cleanout. He managed the excavation work and trenchless installation of the new parts, and took care of scheduling the city inspector visit. At every step he explained what he was doing in great detail, and he was very respectful of the existing landscaping work. In the end, everything was restored properly in a way one can hardly tell any soil had been moved at all. He worked hard to ensure the job was completed according to the schedule. Since I originally called them to address a gurgling toilet and shower, they waived the cost of that repair when I decided to move forward with the sewer line replacement and they also offered a discount. I requested to clear out two portions of an external storm drain. Angel was the technician who quoted and tried to do the work. He was very friendly, attempted to clear the blockages, but ultimately nothing was really accomplished. I ended up having the same issue as before, stating that roots were creating the blockage. I ended up paying $400 for the effort, where another manager came out and quoted over $5000 for a deeper level effort at clearing the blockages. This makes the situation seem like a "bait and switch" scheme. Thus my rating is for the effort and a friendly persona by the technician, but offset by getting no results for the original issue. read more

Martin and Nico did a great job fixing two of my toilets which were incorrectly installed by a prior renovation and resulted in leaks. The work required replacing the flanges, repositioning plumbing, and replacing the wax seals. The value for the work was reasonable for the quality of the work performed. Cleanup was excellent. Additionally, the work was extremely quick and responsive. They showed up within 30 minutes of the call, worked for 3 hours until 9pm, and worked all day the following day to complete the work. It started out as a clogged bathtub. We tried drano and baking soda, vinegar, & hot water and a plunger. But no luck. A long condensed story with a happy ending. It was hard to find a recognizable plumber. I called a 800 number who sent out Jermaine from Gogo Rooter. Jermaine called to say he was on his way. After explaining I have a clogged bathtub, I could hear Jermaine working on it. He came back 30 minutes later, his tool snapped so something else must be going on. The house is on a slab so we were limited. We decided on drilling thru the outside wall and into the cement. After opening the wall and drilling thru: A. The p-trap was blocked. The flow diverter rusted and broke away from the faucet and fell into the p trap area and over the years it rusted and finally blocked the entire pipe. It was not going to drain. B. The shower was leaking for years so the support beam was crumbling. C. The cast iron tub was also rusting. The fix: 1. Fix the p trap & plumbing 2. Find and fix the leak in the shower plumbing 3. Replace the tub 4. Fix the support beam 5. Replace the insulation and re-plaster the walls. 6. Retile the tub. 7. Cosmetic - repaint We also needed city permits and their sign offs. It was a huge project all due to a clogged bathtub. Jermaine, the plumber walked us thru and oversaw the whole project. He was amazing. The company called to make sure we didn't have additional questions at the end of the day but Jermaine answered them all and found out the answers for us right away when we had them. It took a few weeks without a tub. Jermaine is a great plumber. He fixed the plumbing issue, the p-trap and shower leak super quick. He removed the tile & tub and replaced the tub in one day with a buddy. The city needed to sign off on the fix before they were able to do more work. After the first inspection we got the go ahead for tile. The first tile guy the company sent over in the afternoon, tiled half the tub and took a break, then called it quits when he came back because the city had a noise ordinance. Why break at 6 and then come back at 8? The company sent out another tile guy, Henry who said he couldn't fix the uneven tile on the walls, the dips, the protrusion, unevenly cut tile, etc... Henry said he would have to pull it all out and restart so we needed to contact the company. I called and sent pictures to Jermaine. Jermaine talked to his boss. Henry came back out, demo and redid all the tile. Now it looks great. Jermaine sent pictures in to the city and they approved the final sign off. Jermaine painted, cleaned up the remaining material and now we are all good. I would definitely recommend Jermaine for all your plumbing needs. Next time, if i want to just switch out a fixture, I'm calling Jermaine. He's very knowledgeable and makes it look so easy. read more

This time, I needed my kitchen faucet replaced and I knew it was a job best left to the professionals because I wasn't able to get the dang thing off. Adrian arrived early, and was polite and professional. He had a bit of struggle with the faucet too but was good-natured about it, got the right tool for the situation, and was able to remove the old part efficiently. Adrian also didn't mind when I asked him after he was done to assess a future job that I'll likely need: replacing my shower faucet. He analyzed the situation and gave me a couple options to think about. I'm very pleased with Adrian's work and those of his colleagues at Gogo/All Star. After discovering a leak from my main line to the hose, I made the mistake of hiring someone recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, they ended up making things worse--causing more damage and still not fixing the original issue. That's when I called Gogo Rooter, and they sent out Ricky. Even though he arrived in the late afternoon (my fault should've just called Gogo Rooter in the first place), he was determined to get everything done right and didn't leave until the job was complete. He went above and beyond--driving to multiple Home Depots just to make sure he had all the correct parts and tools. During the rebuild, Ricky was incredibly meticulous and thoughtful. He dry-fitted everything first, double-checked all the connections, and made sure everything was properly aligned before final installation. I was alerted to a gas leak in the apartment that I manage. I called Gogo Rooter because they had the equipment to detect a gas leak under ground. They detected the leak and were able to trench to expose the pipe. The job was done with a minimal disruption to the pavers in the courtyard. It was handled with efficiency and professionalism. Our kitchen sink was severely clogged even after myself and my husband tried multiple methods to unclog on our own. By the time we decided to call the professionals it was already evening. We filled out the Yelp quote questionnaire and classified our repairs as an 'emergency' needing immediate assistance.
