This Pastrami is right up there with Katz & Langers. The full size sandwich is enough for 2 people. Definitely get the garlic bread. Only thing I would change is add more vegetables to balance all the fattiness of the meat. This was a spectacular sandwich. So much so that I got there at 1030am so that I could beat the rush. Banh mi has a modern touch to it, by adding different variety of pork to the Saigon rather than just the basic cha lua. 9/10 Overall, I highly recommend this spot considering they have no competition and the food is good. We came on a Wednesday evening around 6pm. There was a line of about 8-10 people, so didn't seem too long. Order taking is easy and the worker was friendly. We got the cold cut and grilled pork banh mi. Both were okay. The baguette was crispy/flaky on the outside, but had a bit of a chew as a whole. Decent amount of ingredients and good flavor. What bothered me was the amount of items that they ran out of on a Wednesday night by 6pm. Out of crispy pork belly, limited on steak and bbq pork, no garlic butter for the baguette, and out of their Mac salad. The sandwiches were good but we didn't get to try our first choices. They just opened a Long Beach location which is much closer to me!! I I've gone to their Glendora store multiple times (ok fine, too many times) whenever I'm in town. My brother and sister in law are hooked too. You can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches, but their pastrami has actually been my favorite so far. My friend and I were in the area for an event at the Pomona Fairplex and had been so excited to try this place after seeing great reviews for it on social media. However, it was extremely poorly run. We arrived around 4:50pm and were told that they needed to do some sort of maintenance and had to close for one hour. Since we were already here, we decided to just hang out and wait.
