I have so many things I'd like to sat positive. However my review is for the owners to see. SUSAN your table lady mid 50s early 60s on multiple occasions has been very rude. This time crossing the Line enough to make this review. 1ST COMMENT WHILE MY FAMILY IS EATING, Funny thing, I just cleaned under your table vacuum and everything then you came in, now I have to do it all over again. I sympathized with her over this stating my homes 2800 Sq ft I'm constantly going over the same spots cleaning its exhausting. ( that's why we ate out) 2nd comment, towards the end, Do you think you guys ate enough yet, us, yes we're almost done, her," good I still have to clean that all up before I can leave ". How fricken rude... I will always come back here hope to see Susan replaced or moved to kitchen.

    Commendable churro!

Solid experience at the Golden Corral! Stopped by this bad mamajama after working up a real hungerin' trotting through the mall, I simply did not know what to expect, and you know what... color me impressed!! After walking past the "okay" public health rating... and thoroughly praying over our risky little plates, we were quite pleased as we dug in for round one! I enjoyed a warm and tasty stew of unknown variety which comforted me, setting me at ease to begin this absolute flavor fest. After returning for a more confectionery plate, we tasted both a notable churro and surprisingly spectacular brownie! I think we all know dinner is just the warmup for dessert anyway. I would also like to commend this corral for its delicious fruit variety, a refreshing surprise! Will I be back? Absolutely. Life is a buffet. Enjoy it!

The reviews for this location are unfair and not always the case for any of my visits here so please don't be afraid to stop by. We have always had excellent service from the cashier/hostess, the staff members at the stations and the waiters/waitresses here. Never had a problem with not having someone to cut meat or an issue with restocking dishes regardless of how popular. I have also never had food that was cold or not heated up properly either. Myself and all my family members as well as my boyfriend and his family members have always left here happy and satisfied. No complaints whatsoever and they are glad that a good buffet is around since we used to go to the Old Country Buffet in Federal Way for a long time before they started to get worse and eventually close down. But I can say with absolute confidence that Golden Corral Buffet and Grill has been more more diverse with their offerings, the food taste better, the staff definitely are more considerate and professional, and the location is much more clean. There are definitely lots of tables and chairs that accommodate different party sizes, there are different spots you can grab plates and gloves, and the restrooms are clean. Honestly, for a chain buffet spot this place is not bad at all and it's hard to find a non-Chinese buffet around so appreciate what you got. The prices here are fair as well and if you sign up for their free membership, it makes visits here worth it and you save a good amount of money which is not common at all at buffets so again, Golden Corral being in Washington is a real gem.

    All this for just $22!

I was really happy with the breakfast buffet here. It's awesome if you're looking for a lot of variety. I love their seafood salad, and it's still great. The apple pie was excellent as always. The little waffle was delicious. It was soft, sweet, and especially good with the strawberry compote and whipped cream on top. Another favorite was the churro: crunchy golden fried on the outside, and soft on the inside. The hash browns were pretty decent. The blueberry pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, French bread, steak fries, potato wedges, and biscuit were good. The biscuit reminded me of the ones from KFC. The dinner roll and French silk pie were just okay. I really didn't like the breakfast pizza, French bread pudding, or corned beef hash. The chocolate cake was dry, and the brownie was hard and too chewy. I got carryout, which is a great option, because you don't have to eat everything on the spot. You can take it home and save it for another time.

Buttered toast, Mac and cheese, fries, chicken with gravy, and fried shrimp.

I've never been to a Golden Corral before, so when my friends suggested going here to eat for dinner I was really excited! However, I left feeling underwhelmed and didn't catch myself saying "that was really good!" like how I normally do. Maybe it was because we had arrived rather late in the evening to eat here, but this experience wasn't something that I 100% found worth it and would only maybe return for certain items. The staff were really friendly and nice. Our waiter regularly came by to refill drinks and remove plates that were no longer being used. The food was mediocre. I made myself a plate with buttered toast, mac and cheese, fries, chicken and gravy, and fried shrimp. Out of all the things on my plate, I only really enjoyed the Mac and cheese and fried shrimp most. The toast was super salty and overly buttered, the fries were kinda dry, and the chicken was cold. My husband made himself a few plates and expressed he really enjoyed the carne asada, otherwise he couldn't really finish much else on his place or thoroughly enjoy it. Our friend had grabbed some fried chicken who said it was dry. The dessert was also disappointing; the cheesecake has a sort of sour taste to it and the brownies were dry. Overall, it was cool to try this place out but now I know what to expect and what to be careful of with choosing should I ever find myself eating here again in the future.

Ask the Community - Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

    Do they have seafood everyday?

Yes, but it's mostly stuff like fried breaded shrimp or a hot fish dish. Don't expect crab legs and lobster tails. If you're looking for that, find an Asian buffet like Harvest in Tacoma or Feast in Renton.

    Do y'all have truck parking?

Semi/trailer trucks no, with a Bed atleast not at the entrance leading to Golden Coral to what l can see. It's a mall parking lot and often full for that reason, If your highly skilled and adventurer you can try without a Bed and update to reflect…

How much is it per person for dinner buffet?

    They change. Call 253-200-6368.

We explained that once the grill was "seasoned," the food would not stick; which is why we didn't want it changed... yet he asked if we wanted it changed right after this. I also asked for more napkins, he brought one. The ventilation in this restaurant is horrendous, the smoke and heat from the grill were unpleasant for anyone sitting near the wall. I had to move seats after I was done cooking, because the heat was making me sweat profusely. A female employee came by and asked if we needed anything, and I asked for napkins (to wipe the sweat off my face). She looked at me as if I was asking for a slice of pizza. I asked her if there was a problem, because of the look she gave me. She responded, "no." I got the feeling as though she didn't want to give us napkins for some reason. Again, the food was good, but the service was terrible.

We've been super excited to come and eat some seafood boil and having to wait till 3pm till they opened, we were starving! We were sat down very quickly and the waiter took our pretty fast too being that we were the first ones in. Our order: Combo #3 with added sausage with no spicy house special sauce Kids chicken tenders with fries Shrimp fried rice 1 order of asian bread 1order of steamed rice Total $130 We've been to this location 3 other times and the experience and food were all terrific! Unfortunately this time we left pretty dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the food. Me and my husband always peel and crack open the shrimp and crab first before we start eating just so it gives us some time to let our baby's food cool down for a bit. We finally got it all cracked, peeled and opened when we finally got a taste of the crab and it was SUPER SUPER SALTY. In total me and my husband ate 1 crab leg each and left the rest, and we never ever have leftover crab typically. Our crab batch was just so inedible that we didn't even take it with us to go. The chicken tenders and fries were good, can never go wrong with that and my daughter loved them! The shrimp fried rice was also good but the shrimp seemed a bit rubbery, but we took it home and decided to just take the shrimp off. With having to spend $130 and not getting to eat both the crab from the expensive boil and the shrimp from the fried rice I'd give this experience a 2, we specifically went here to have the boil but ended up not eating pretty much any of the crab. When I asked the waiter why the crab was so salty he said they they add salt to keep it fresh, but the fact that it was severely salty kind of wondering how much salt did they have to use to keep this specific batch fresh? I'm not sure if we're planning on coming back but I hope the next batch is better for everyone else!

For the first 30 to 45 minutes, we kept seeing the same meats while several of the premium cuts never made it to our table unless we specifically asked for them. They eventually came, but at this price point, guests shouldn't have to keep requesting the signature cuts. We also ordered a pitcher of sangria without being given a drink menu or told it was $48. Finding that out when the check arrived was definitely a surprise. We also didn't learn until the end of the meal that our 25% off promotion wasn't valid on weekends. As the night went on, the service dropped off quite a bit. After about an hour, it started to feel like our table was being overlooked and that it was time for us to wrap things up. We also weren't fans of the three-payment limit for larger groups, which made settling the bill more complicated than it needed to be. We'd still be willing to come back because the food was genuinely good, but next time we'll probably keep it simple, skip the sangria, and avoid bringing a larger party. There's a lot of potential here, but the overall experience needs to match the quality and price of the food.
