I feel like this specific Golden Corral is for the elderly maybe because of the location. It was $45.00 for me and the wife which is ridiculous because you aren't getting what you pay for. There's not many choices at all I just got the same plate 3 times over. The food choices were mostly stuff my grandma would eat not too appealing. Plus the two good options weren't being replaced when they were going empty. Just overall worst Golden Corral experience. I'd definitely go if the price was 5 or maybe 10 bucks a person and that's pushing it. Staff was very nice though so that's a plus. The manager doesn't seem to reply to all the negative comments about this place so if he doesn't care to address it then what does that say about the quality of the restaurant? Despite the fact that my wife told me I was never allowed to eat nacho cheese sauce ever again I went back twice for nachos and had zero repercussions! First I saw a big bug running across the countertop. Second the selection is food is pretty lame. Third with a you have unless it's an item that doesn't sell isn't full or it's been sitting out a long time. For the lights that keep them warm some are not on. People that work here are nice. This place could be a good value for your money if they had the right items in the buffet at $21 for meal and a Coke I don't think it's a value. Normally I love this place let's start off with that but yesterday 6-5-2026 my opinion changed forever.The food wasn't even fresh and we saw our service twice, instead of making a big deal in the store all I called to express my complaints and discomfort with the manager and my experience wasn't cared about. Went here for the breakfast buffet for my birthday. It is wildly overpriced for two it was almost $45 not including tip for the waitress (who only did drink refills) and the $3.50 drinks! My husband wants to come here because of their steak. But this time, it was disappointing, because they didn't have a good cut of steak. It was all fat and not tender. Before they transitioned into a buffet, they served good steaks. I don't know if it's almost closing time, but food is not being refilled. But the server that's assigned to our area was really nice and very friendly, although it's a buffet, she was very attentive to our needs. My wife and I took our 8 year-old niece on a day trip down south to Tucson and were looking for a good place to have a buffet style meal. With the pandemic in full effect we weren't sure how Golden Corral was handling things. We were pleasantly surprised. One way in and one way out. Hand sanitizer provided. Distancing encouraged and limited/spaced seating. Same variety of food is available. The only difference is that a server wearing gloves and behind a divider prepares your plate by request. Great portions. Terrific selection and everything tasted delicious. Felt almost normal to eat inside a restaurant again. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Great location. Definitely one of the buffets of all time. My friend was crying with joy and could hardly wait to choke down the monkey meat steak. Very tender yet tough, and sure tasted somewhere in the ballpark of "steak like". Ice cream machine worked (eat your heart out McDonald's, more like mcpoopalds). The fried chicken, battered in what I imagine was only the most quality sawdust and cat litter, cooked medium rare. I've been looking for places that will cook my chicken medium rare and here I am! As a service member, I miss the times eating at the DFAC in Ft. Bliss, but Golden Corral has brought me back to those wonderful moments. Truly one of the experiences of all time I miss visiting my demented grandmother in her nursing home, but Golden Corral did something special by giving me a taste of that experience again. The people, the servers, and of course, the food brought it all together. It's hard to find a restaurant that's willing to serve you a medium rare chicken breast, but once again Golden Corral delivers! If you're a fan of ordinary jet puff marshmallows, look no further than their dessert bar. Did I mention the WORKING ice cream machine? (good luck topping that McDonalds!) I can say in all honesty my guy and I haven't been to a Golden Corral in ages. The last time was in Phoenix and the decor was dark and dingy. We both thought we'd check it out since we were hungry. This location was not what we expected. My goodness I didn't feel like the 80's were calling and wanted their decor back. Inside was bright, white walls and a fresh look with the farmhouse decor. The food is what you expect, standard buffet , but the hot food was constantly being stocked, so it was fresh. The salad bar, nothing special but it was decent. I found several hot veggie dishes to eat. My guy tried it all. Well, except for dessert since that's not what he's into. But the rest of the fare got his approval. We stopped by a few Sundays ago for brunch/breakfast and we think we'll try it for lunch one day. read more

As I've gotten older I have become kind of grossed out by buffets, and I think that was way before the COVID-19 pandemic time. But, we took our kids to this location to celebrate our former foster son's birthday and it was pleasantly clean, the way we like it, the food area was clean and well kept (someone was walking around checking to make sure food wasn't spilled over or mixed in with its neighbor), and the woman taking drink orders and checking on us was amazing! She was amazing with our kids and patient and just overall made the afternoon wonderful! read more

We were on this side of town and my daughter had had shots, so I let her pick the restaurant for dinner. She would give this place five stars, based on dessert options alone. A/C is STRUGGLING at best. They actually had a wheeled fan in the restaurant. One person at the register with a line of people and took 20 minutes to pay and get started. Ok, it's like 5 minutes from our home. We haven't been there for about 6 years or so...a few of us figured it was time to give it a try again. $17.99 for adult weekday dinner. It's what it is....most items were well prepared. Fried chicken, Mac n cheese, fried okra, fish fried or baked , ribs, meatloaf, black eyed peas, sweet potatoes and cold slaw were all decent. Sirloins were all overcooked. There was no medium rare either trip...this is the loss of a star. The salad bar is much better than I remember. The deserts are meh. Banana pudding lacked the vanilla wafers. If you need a lot of protein for one price...it's worth going. The most disgusting buffet I've ever been to! Horrible service, nasty food, broken ice cream machines. What a mess!!

I used to meet a friend about once a month for several years and loved the place but it's been about 5 yrs since my last visit, took the wife today and omg, what a nose dive this place took. Outside of building was filthy, you could feel the cashier wasn't a happy woman, had to ask for trays which needed dish towels to dry off, lots of empty food pans and what was out didn't look good. Food mess was everywhere and you could tell no one cared or cleaned. What on earth happened to this place and the old crew, it's like zombie land and the wife had mashed potatoes and carrots, she couldn't wait to get the heck out and of there and back to the car. We stopped at a fast food drive thru to get food to finish our meal on the way home. Also noticed the silverware was no longer with the plates- Very bummed about a old reliable location that looked like it's in its last throws of death and failure. Drove around by the back doors and the place needed a good power wash for sanitary reasons and the spilled drinks on the outside siding by the east entrance doors could use a power wash like someone gives a crap about cleanliness. The iced tea was weak and cloudy as well and the cashier could have been drying trays between customers because it was slow at 1:30-1:40pm Not sure if this location is a Corp store or franchise but it sure needs help. Hope they weather the storm and stay successful like the previous visits a few years ago but at this point, probably won't be back. read more

Went in on thanksgiving. Super crowded. Dishes were dirty. Food was not good. Staff was at least organized. But the worst thing (should get them shut down) is that someone pooped on the floor and it took them 20 minutes to "clean it up." They sat us next to it. Someone stepped in it and spread it. And then they just poured coffee on it and nothing else at all. The entire hour we were there, we were sitting next to, breathing in and eating next to HUMAN FECES!!!! It is completely disgusting and unacceptable that no one did anything and ignored the serious health concern to the hundreds of people inside and outside. Pretty much everything was bland and tasteless. Tried the pot roast and baked fish. I think their philosophy must be, don't cook the food with any seasoning because someone might not like it. The lettuce and spinach on the salad bar were fresh and plentiful though. The desserts I tried were absolutely terrible. The "ice cream", I'm sure, was some non dairy garbage that was grainy and tasted strongly of the cheapest imitation vanilla. Chocolate pudding had no chocolate flavor at all. read more

Honestly this used to be my family spot when we first moved here in 2018 and we would go all the time. Yesterday took my son there (it's been maybe 2-3 years) and it was gross. We had to go through the stack of plates they had out because half of them were dirty still with dry food and the other half were so stained it looked as if we were microwaving spaghetti on them. Food was gross. The steak cook had a pile of pre cooked steaks and when he asks for how you like it cooked he grabs from the pile and sears it for a quick reheat. Walked in here with high hopes as i used to come here as a kid, it was 89.99 for 4 people, so hot in the restaurant and the food not only looks unappetizing but is disgusting. Very unhappy with how far this place has fallen. The manger is so awfully rude, some of the worst attitude ive ever gotten from someone in the service industry. What a disappointment! Visited on Friday, around 3:00 pm. The salad bar lacked in freshness and variety. The ladles for salad dressing were sticky which means that they don't keep up in maintaining cleanliness. The iceberg lettuce bowl had only a few pieces, I alerted our server and the bowl was refilled. However, the new batch was not fresh at all. Many of the main dish selections were empty or very limited to select from. I had to visit the ladies restroom and I gagged when walking in. The smell was horrific, the stall was filthy along with the floor and counter wasn't any better. The only positive on this visit was our server. She was friendly and attentive. Really overpriced, sub-par meats and overcooked sides and vegetables. Salad bar is never fresh, always brown spotted lettuce. Salad dressings always have extra stuff in it like seeds, croutons, other dressings and don't really look fresh due to a skin developing on them. The bread is always hard and overcooked. On a recent visit to this Golden Corral with 3 of our grandkids, it was determined that it was our last and final visit there. For the $75 we spent, it was far from worth it. The "salad bar" looked ravaged, messy and nearly empty. The serving line area needed wiped down and freshened and filled. We went during the first hour they open in the morning at 10am. I would highly recommend trying their fried chicken and mushroom with steak it was delicious. They didn't have much of a breakfast option more of a lunch option which was a bummer. Service was great!
