This place has been here for decades and changed owners several times but God bless it, the breaded fish fried to crispy perfection and crinkle cut fries have remained consistent! They taste the same as they did since my first meal from there back in the 70's when I was single digits old. It's a polarizing place. Maybe if you've grown up with it you love it, but if you haven't then it's a pass, but almost 80 years on and this place is going strong. They are doing something right. Give this divey, south tucson, iconic shop a shot! It's a good to-go menu, but at least once, eat it In the shop while it's crispy, hot and fresh.

My family and I were passing through while heading back home to Texas from San Diego and we found Sue's Fish & Chips. Literally, the BEST fish and chips spot we've had in AZ by far. Sauce had the right texture and stayed on the food as we dipped. The shrimp was so delicious and the batter wasn't thick. Customer service was great, very nice ppl working at Sue's. We highly recommend this place, you won't regret it.

Seventy two years and counting. serving fried seafood for 3/4 of a century. There has to be a reason, yes there should be, dedication to quality food and service, not. Something was wrong tonight fried mushrooms were still frozen and the cheap frozen. French fries were cold raw just undercooked they need to not be in such a rush. I suggest they try the food themselves and see how horrible the french fries really are. A place like they should be using fresh potatoes. If five guys could do it on the national level come on why can't they?

Primarily a place to pickup food. Very noisy. Not good seating. It is very popular for pickup, and food is good.

It took my friend and I forever to figure out what to order! We finally settled on the shrimp ceviche bowl to start - amazing and chock full of shrimp! It came with crackers and tostadas! I also got a fish and marlin taco - both were great and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the red spices on the marlin! Nestled a bit further down from Cobra Arcade at the front corner of the street it's on, just walk a bit further and you'll find CRUDA. Not a huge place, maybe about 8 or so actual tables, it's a quaint little spot that's surrounded by many other places that are a bit larger but not necessarily better since the other spots are just so crowded particularly at night. If you want a nicer spot to kick back and unwind, you definitely want to try out this spot first. The night we were there they had live music playing too, and since he spot is smaller but had decently taller ceiling, the sounds and acoustics in there actually wasn't bad. Nice to have someone jamming while you have a bite and a drink. The drinks here were sort of hit or miss for me. The drink I got wasn't bad, the drink my friend got was not good. A couple of drinks others got were also hit or miss. I think the cocktails here are just mediocre. The shots here were a bit pricey, but beggars can't be choosers perhaps. Food here was pretty good. Personal favorite, especially for the drinking crowd, that calamari basket was amazing. Came out piping hot and oh so tasty and perfectly fried. Compared to that hot mess of a fried calamari I had at JA Curry Ramen before, this was leaps and bounds ahead. Just a nice spot to be in if you're looking for more lowkey spots here, and one that isn't awful just because it's quieter for, different reasons. Would recommend.

They have two restaurants by the same name that sit opposite of each other. I hear their counterpart is just as good. We entered the building from the left and told the host the name the reservation was under. The host wasn't as attentive as she should have been. She hardly even looked as us. We were standing there and she seemed to be busy with something else. No ' it'll be just a few minutes', nothing. She was talking with the other ladies. Finally we were seated. Our server was very nice. We decided on two steak dinners. My wife had the 8oz filet and I got the rib-eye both med-rare. Our steaks look good when we received it. But my steak was served rare! It was chewy and fatty. I chewed for days just to get a single piece down. My wife steak was overcooked to medium. There's nothing worse than an overcooked filet mignon! We don't like sending food back for obvious reasons. We've heard too many horror stories, not to mention I use to work in the food industry. As I mentioned, our server was very nice and attentive as well! She constantly checked on us and my tip reflected that! For a $170.00 bill, our meal was mediocre at best.
