I was not sure to try this place or not due to such bad reviews in yelp ... But I also read some positive coments and thought yeah !why not just try!. This place is amazing . The waiters were nice and the place was clean. They knew exactly what we wanted when we told them. Their fried rice was very good and the quantity was quite huge. The price was decent and didn't feel over priced . Was in Forks for a whole week. Tried to eat here on three different occasions and was closed even though we visited during posted business hours. There was no sign or anything explaining why it was closed and when it will be open. If you are a small business in a small town you need to be open during your posted hours. I love this place. This is American-Chinese food (believe me, better than authentic). They offer all the classic dishes. The staff are so great. By our second visit, they remembered us and were so fast to bring us the things they knew we'd ask for before we even asked. There was almost no wait. Worst chinese restaurant ever and most items are over priced. We ordered 6 dishes and the 6th never came. However it was priced into our final bill! Read your bill before you pay! $16 seafood veggie was mostly veggie, we counted 4 shrimp and little fake crab meat. Fried rice was dry and salty, noodle soup was a bowl of MSG. Well, after seeing so many 2 stars on this restaurant, I feel it deserves a better rating. The restaurant is very clean, bright, and well decorated with a lot of art work. We ordered three dishes, sautéed green bean, eggplant in garlic sauce, and seafood fried rice. Green bean dish is very delicious, and we cleaned the plate (4.5 star), the fried rice is decent, and we ate almost all of it (4 star) , but the eggplant is a bit too sweet for our taste, so we left half on the plate (3 star). If could, I would like to give this restaurant 3.5 star, not a bad experience, though not a wow experience. read more

This place has won our hearts over. My fiancé and I had been traveling all day, and we were very much in need of a warm and delicious meal. Not only was our meal spectacular, but the customer service was OUTSTANDING. They met our every need. We got the szechuan chicken, which was full of flavor, perfectly crispy and tender. The wonton soup was traditional, in all the best ways. the spring rolls filled our every desire that spring rolls could. Yikes! Came here based on several positive reviews from other sites, but was highly disappointed. Both of us got combo plates, and though it looked good, the food lacked flavor and seemed carelessly prepared. We started with pot stickers which were overly greasy (fried) with little content. The won ton soup contained one won ton per bowl. When the plates arrived we realized that they mixed up the food choices, so we had to swap one thing from our plates. The chow mein was good, but the chicken and prawns were over breaded and tasteless. The sweet and sour sauce was good, and allowed the fried rice to be tasty. We ate here twice and both times it was quite good. My husband is Chinese so we are used to eating good Chinese food. We found the sauces to be done with a delicate touch. The black bean dishes were done with a nice touch.The food was not oily in any way. Vegetables of bok choy and green beans were very fresh and done nicely. The owner drives to Seattle to get fresh produce. The fried rice had lots of little tasty morsels. The tea was oolong and very good. The inside decor is quite well done for a Chinese restaurant. My only comment would be to spruce things up a bit on the inside and to tidy up the parking lot and front flower bed. read more

It took a long time to place our order, a long time to get our food, and nothing to drink until we asked. The food itself was decent enough and nothing more. The one thing I liked better at this Chinese food restaurant than the other one in town was their soup. I also liked the cleanliness, brightness and overall appearance better than the other restaurant. Interesting to note is that the menus of both places are nearly identical. I prefer the food at the other place...if they could combine the food from the other place, and the location/appearance of this place, and just have ONE better Chinese food restaurant, that'd be fine with me! Worst food I've had in years. Want meat and vegetables and got some weird beef that was pink and chewy. Veggies tasted fine ,but the sauce they used was way to much. Was rather soupy. My friend ordered exact menu item and we both could not even eat half. Couldn't get past the pink meat. The other couple that ate with us each had spring roll. They took one bite and spit it out said had weird taste. They each had pork fried rice was not that good. Sweet and sour chicken was all batter. We all left the resteraunt and fifteen minutes later both of them got sick. Ruined our weekend. I say run away from this terrible place. Yelp another resteraunt in area or go to next town to eat. We made mistake by not yelping this resteraunt first. We also had soup that was terrible. None of us could eat that either. I would give this a zero if that was s choice.
