Never open in the morning. Don't plan on picking up your dry cleaning before 9 am. They are never actually open. I like this dry cleaner and very nice owners. I just need predictability of being open before 9 am since they are also not open on Sundays for pickup. read more

I have been using this cleaners for few years. Not to boast but, I have a lot of designers clothing that I will only feel comfortable giving it to them. I wish I could give this business 10 stars. I've been using them off and on for about 20 years (some years I didn't live in LA). I am always so happy to return to this great business. For me quality of service matters most...they have gone above and beyond to manage all sorts of things for me...suggesting best options etc, working hard to give me the best result. Its a great place for costumes and ball gowns as well. Most places only know how to charge you the price for a fancy dress but don't understand how to do an excellent job. I find most every cleaner lets you down at some point...this is not the case here, and that is because it is family owned and operated. They truly care about every garment. Golden Glo is the best! My school had me take items to a particular cleaner for a discount, and I mistook that cleaner for Golden Glo. They took care of me, allowing me to try on pants to see where they should be hemmed and just overall being very courteous and helpful for someone with no dry cleaner experience. Eventually, we realized I was at the wrong dry cleaner, but instead of getting mad, the lady at the front simply said, "My daughter makes the same mistake!" and sent me off with a smile, making sure I had everything (a lot). These are great people who deliver an even better product--definitely try them if you're looking for a dry cleaner/hemmer. read more

I live down the street and love the convenience of this location. A little pricey but the convenience and service make up for it. They also were able to move some buttons around on a jacket of mine for not too much extra. Almost all of my items are white and they all turned out crisp sparkling white. read more

Been taking my dry cleaning here for years and have never had a problem. They are always very nice and remember me by name. SO SWEET! They have a drive thru, so you can pull in and hand them your clothes right there. Very convenient. I even brought in a sweater that had a whole on the arm, which they fixed very nicely. You can't see that there was anything there at all. I definitely won't be going anywhere else! read more

I don't often use dry cleaners. However, I have come here a few times and everytime its been great. They are very nice and informative inside. My items were cleaned in a just a few days and the price was agreeable. I recently took a new shirt in that had some weird color bleed after being splashed with water. They insturcted me to return the shirt. I respect them a lot for telling me the truth. Macy's took the shirt back no problem. Sad though because I really liked it. read more

If I could leave a negative review I would. This dry cleaner not only took the pleats out of a pleated dress, but then would not admit it, nor return my money, nor apologize but just said when they steam something whatever happens, happens. It seems they can only handle sweat shirts to dry clean. Then, while explaining, he had food in his mouth and was spitting it all over my dress. Disgusting. AVOID at all costs. Terrible. RIp-off! They charged me $28 for my dress because of a BooSh*T reason! They said, my dress has leather, I swear my dress leather percentage is 5%, and they charge me for leather! On top of that, they didn't even clean off the stain! I told them, I only care about the stain, and they go, "oh I can't do anything about it! oh oh, I'm sorry". sorry, like i give a poop, obviously, you just want business! well, screw you business for overcharging me! I hate this place, there's two dry cleaners that rip ppl off! This one and the one next to Ralph's on Olympic Blvd. I give them both one star!!! Yes, I agree with other Reviewer, they are very nice and I too have been using them for years, about 5-6 years. This cleaner was recommended to my husband by a designer who designed one of his suits and I am so glad they did. I used to work in Century City so it was very convenient for me but I haven't worked in the area for a few years now and I still drive there for our dry cleaning. Once we tried a cleaners in the Playa Vista Pomenade (Hollyway Cleaners) purely out of convenience and they ruined my husband's $1,000.00 suit and the owner would not take responsibility. There were stains on the suit that were not there before. Golden Glo Cleaners had cleaned the same suit before with no problems. We will never go anywhere else again unless, Golden Glo Cleaners opens another location West of the 405 fwy. :) read more

Been going there for years. They did an ok job and the main reason for me going there is that the location is convenient for me. On my last visit, I dropped off two different tops for hemming. I told the owner's wife what needed to be done, and she told me to pick it up after the weekend. When I went there to pick up my tops, the wife brought them over to me, and told me that they only hemmed one of the pieces because she didn't think that the second one needed hemming as it was approximately the same length as the one they just had hemmed. I told her that those are two different tops, and that I wanted one top one length, and one top another length. She insisted that they saved me money by not having hemmed the other top. Her husband then came over, and without knowing what is going on, he took his wife's side. I find this kind of behavior absolutely unacceptable for several reasons: 1) it's not their decision what length my top should be; 2) if they question whether a hem should be done or not, call the customer and ask/clarify or at least have the courtesy to give me a call to say that you are not going to do it; 3) I've been going there for years, it would have been nice if the owner had at least tried to resolve the situation, and it also would have been nice if he hadn't started yelling. It's easy to be nice to customers. To me, the real test is how a business owner resolves/handles a situation. Both of them could have easily resolved this situation and kept me as a customer simply by apologizing (for not doing the job they were asked to do), and to offer to resolve the situation. They didn't do either one of those, and because of that, I will not go back there. I don't think that's the right way to treat a customer, especially not one who has been coming for years. read more

This cleaners is awesome! I am very particular about how my dress shirts are laundered and finished and this cleaners obviously has workers who pay attention to detail. Their service is great, they are friendly, prices are right and they treat you like they appreciate your business. it took me awhile to find this place, but I am glad I did. read more
