Chinese restaurant that serves authentic menu. Dining area is huge and it is like a 酒樓 (Cantonese wine house). [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is so outdated and dark.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Across the street from GM tech center but there are barely any customers during lunch time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came here for dim sum and the dishes are lukewarm. Ain't it supposed to be straight from a steamer, why everything is lukewarm. Quality is meh, recipe is wrong on some dishes. Beside the dim sum that they can buy in bulk, food in general are greasy and cold.

This place is definitely worth checking out! We came for dim sum at around 11am and were SO impressed. Everything seemed flavorful, not greasy, and really fresh. The shiu mai was packed with shrimp and the chicken feet were fall off the bone! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The room looks bright and welcoming, reminds me of celebratory times, growing up[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the service was prompt and straightforward. Will be coming back again soon, hopefully!

Unfortunately a very average dim sum place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Big spacious environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was prompt. Lots of people pushing carts. However the food just didn't satisfy. The items in general were all average in comparison to other SE michigan dim sum places. The rice noodle roll was small. The chive dumpling was too doughy. Chicken feet was average. The pork and vege dumpling - obvious that the wrapper was not home made and stale. Won't be back for dim sum.

The food was immaculate and the service was impeccable. I enjoyed the black soda ice cream float most of all

Second time here. It is in a weird building but there is plenty of parking. Unpleasant odor by the entrance, but after I entered the dining area it subsided. The food was hit or miss, but no dish was awful. The chow fun and spare ribs were decent. The shumai had a chewy filling (not minced enough) and the stuffed banana leaves filling was not the freshest. The stuffed eggplant was good. I was in the mood for this style of food but I will seek out other options.

    What are the dimsum hours?

    11am to 3pm weekdays; sat&sun 1030am to 3pm

What time is dim sum available? I know that the Shangri-la in midtown has it in the middle of the day, while the one in West Bloomfield serves it from 10:40pm-2am.

    Till lunch ends

Kung Fu Noodle House did not disappoint. everything was rich in flavor, nice and hot and COVERED the table. Plate after plate was brought out and we enjoyed practically every single thing we tried (save for a few)! Though on the cozier side inside, the place held a lot of people and the servers were so kind and polite, even when we asked more than once what something night be. Our kiddos loved it and we'd definitely return.

Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and nothing was spicy. The tea was also really good. When the cart came around, though... I had no idea what to do or what half the dishes were! Service: The staff was nice and. That said, since we were clearly first timers, I would've loved a little guidance. Even just a quick "these are popular" or "this one's pork, this one's shrimp" would have gone a long way. Ambiance: It's a corner plaza spot and nothing about the space really stood out. It was a Saturday night and there were only two other families dining in, so it felt very quiet. Not a bad thing if you want low-key, just don't go in expecting a buzzy or lively atmosphere. I'd come back for the food, but mostly knowing what to expect next time helps.

Good news, we ended up here and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience here. The staff was so kind and helpful. This place also had a surprising amount of people coming in for lunch on a random Tuesday, but that is good for this place. We started with the Cantonese shrimp noodles. They are so delicious and nostalgic of places I would go to in Toronto in my childhood. The portion was so huge I now have noodles for days, which we are super happy about. We had the BBQ buns and pineapple buns, both really sweet, sticky and delicious. We had the rice noodles with shrimp and either beef or pork (not sure which one I actually ordered), I crave those, especially the shrimp ones. We tried the fried, crispy shrimp bean curd rolls with plum sauce and a favorite of mine, sticky rice. As always, we had tons of leftovers and look forward to having our meal for lunches and dinners this week. Plus, now that I know they have a great selection and have better hours than some of the other places, we will be back. My child wants to try the sesame chicken and some other dishes on their general menu.

If only one person in a group get tea they still charge everybody which is ridiculous. I don't have high hope for good quality dim sum in metro Detroit but this place should close soon. Basically they use the cheapest Ingredients they can buy and charge full price for it. Might as well buy frozen dim sum and steam it at home instead of wasting time and money here.

Total plot twist. The place was pretty quiet with only a few diners, so service was steady, though a little slow at times. We ordered the veggie noodles, cucumber salad, lamb skewers, xianbing pancake, and juicy pork dumplings. Overall, the food was decent and comfortably average, but honestly, we were just excited to finally find a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant nearby. The veggie noodles were the clear winner of the night: chewy, flavorful, and coated in a sauce that had us going back for bite after bite. I could've done without the bok choy, though, and I wish the noodles had been a little less oily. The cucumber salad leaned much sweeter than we expected and was swimming in a bit too much soy sauce for our taste. The pork dumplings were nice and juicy inside, but the wrappers were slightly too doughy. Now the lamb skewers? Absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good portion size, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, unfortunately, was the xianbing pancake. It didn't feel authentic at all. The crepe was way too thick, and the crispy crackers inside had lost all crunch and turned soggy instead. Still, the cozy vibe, solid noodles, and tasty skewers made it a worthwhile visit, especially if you're craving Szechuan flavors around Madison Heights.
