My "go-to" Chinese delivery restaurant. The quality of the food is always excellent and their delivery is extremely fast. Prices are extremely reasonable and the menu has so many different options! My two favorites are the Singapore Mei Fun with Shrimp and the Garlic Shrimp. Also if the spicy Asian mustard is your thing, ask for a side of the house mustard! It's amazing but you better use it sparingly; it'll clear out your sinuses! All in all, I definitely recommend this place to others! read more

Wanted to fill my Chinese food fix while on COVID-19 lockdown. Headed to my go to Asian cuisine restaurant. They do have contactless service. I ordered Moo Shu Chicken, Bell Pepper Beff, Hot N Sour soup, and fried won tons. Servings sizes smaller than when dine in. The Bell Pepper Beef did have a large amount bell peppers and onions but not so much beef. Otherwise eveything else was prepared just like you expect, all well seasoned, tender vegetables, nice sauces. Definitely forfilled our Chinese food craven. read more

My # 1 family restaurant!!! The staff at Golden Pot goes above and beyond with their service. We usually go to the Golden Pot with our extended family, so that's 17 people, 10 of which are kids ages 3-13. When we normally eat as a group people give us a look like, really? At Golden Pot, they are wonderful to our kids. We have eaten here numerous times and they are always welcoming and friendly. The food is also very good, they have huge portions and good prices. I always love the orange chicken and my girls get the potstickers. We had my daughter's 9th birthday party there, and the staff gave here a $10 gift card. If you are looking for a great place to eat with the kids, The Golden Pot is my first choice. read more

With tasty, reasonably priced food and a calm, relaxing atmosphere, this restaurant is great for casual and special occasions alike. The restaurant itself is not very large, but the relatively small wait staff still does a fantastic job of attending to all the tables. The staff is also friendly and will make special changes to many dishes upon request, with some additions like avocado being slightly more in price. They also aren't afraid to make your dish extra spicy if that's what you prefer! There are several vegetarian tofu dishes which are quite tasty. The lunch special (served 7 days a well I believe) is also great value for the price if you happen to be in the areas during that time of day. Overall a fantastic restaurant, with the quality of the food, friendly and helpful staff, and soothing atmosphere really setting it apart from the rest. read more

I was high the first time I went and also, I went during lunch when they had a special. My standards were pretty lax in my condition but I liked it enough to come back sober a few months later. I missed out on the sweet lunch prices this time around and ordered too much food for me. I got the red curry and walnut shrimp. Both good options but the shrimp are hard to enjoy if you don't eat them right then and there because... I mean how do you effectively reheat shrimp? Ya cant. So I would mostly recommend dining in. Its too far for me to make this a regular haunt of mine but if you live in the area and are ever craving Thai food after 3 and before 5 (when most Thai places have a break) sure. Head here. Delicious every single time! The food tastes fresh, not overly oily like a lot of other Chinese delivery. My picky kids devour the Mongolian Beef. Hubby loves the panang curry with chicken. We visited the Golden Pot about a month and a half ago, then again about three weeks ago and our whole experience was great. I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken, and my wife had a curry. This is the BEST Thai food in all of DFW that I have had. I always get either the Pad Thai with tofu (comes with a nice spice level) or the Panang curry with tofu (so much yummy flavor!). This place is FANTASTIC, and totally unexpected. Just moving from a coastal area where anything Asian cuisine is common to where there's a steakhouse on every corner I am pleasantly surprised. The flavors in my dishes were all superb! We ate, Mongolian Beef, Cashew Chicken, Panang Chicken, Basil Fried Rice and Sizzling Rice Soup. My mouth and tummy are humming. This was my first time trying Golden Pot, and it takes a lot for me to write a review on a restaurant. Not only was the food fantastic, but this has to be the fastest delivery I have ever experienced. I placed an order online for home delivery. There online menu is really easy to navigate through, plus each item gives you a selection for specific needs / wants with that particular dish, such as if you want to select options for spicy. I also love the option of having a note section to write anything you wish, such as if you want to take out scallions in your dish. I placed the online order at 4:21pm for a large soup, two entrees and 2 drinks for delivery. I received a knock on my door at 4:32pm. No lie, they cooked and delivered my food in 11 minutes. The driver was very nice and friendly, plus thanked me for ordering with them. I gave him a $5 tip and he was very thankful. The food was absolutely fantastic. Believe me, this was some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in a very long time. The Wonton soup was very tasty and did not have an overwhelming salty taste, plus the wontons were very good. The Chicken Broccoli and Beef Fried Rice was top notch. Very delicious in every way. I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the local region. This place has a lot of raving reviews so had to try it! Staff is super nice and restaurant is very neat, clean and comfortable. I am a bit of a crab Rangoon connoisseur and these were at the tops of my favorite ever. Packaging was a little on the heavy side but the filling was the most flavorable and plentiful. I had the lunch special teriyaki chicken, while it was good it was not amazing. Fried rice was an odd shade of brown and nothing to salivate over. Egg roll was one of the best ever (dipped in sweet n sour sauce). My friend had sesame chicken and was very disappointed at how hard & tough the pieces were.
