Chris responded to a call over the weekend in the early hours of Sunday morning, I think it was about 3 a.m. There was a burst pipe that my oldest child notified me of. I woke up and turned off the water immediately. I looked for a plumbing company that would respond at that hour, as most companies were closed. I found Emergency Response Plumbers via Yelp. I called and had Chris answer the phone. We talked for about 20 minutes while Chris walked me through doing some minor assessment myself. He gave me the option of either himself or another technician coming to the property with an emergency visit fee or waiting until the next business day. In a household of five, with one being a three year old, I just needed the repairs done immediately and running water working as soon as possible. With multiple people now waking up and needing to use the bathrooms and no running water... I didn't see waiting as a viable option. Also, washing the three-year-old's hands has become as frequent as breathing. The kid is always getting into something. This was an immediate emergency. Chris came out, assessed the situation, and completed the repairs himself. All while answering my million questions regarding what he viewed from within the walls (the house is a little older, and I just thought since the walls were open, why not). He also walked me through all the repairs he was completing. Overall, it was great work, great service, and great patience. I ask a lot of questions trying to understand things. Thank you Efficient plumbing yet again for your service and timely installation. When we called my husband scheduled the plumbers Steve and Hector to come out the following day. They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! Truly an Honest Review -…read more First off, The Water Heater Company fixed the issue with the pilot light on our Rheem Professional water heater, which had been going out after hours or days of use. This had happened in the past when we first purchased the unit about four years ago. At that time, I replaced the burner assembly and control valve, and the problem was solved. I never found out the exact cause, but it was fixed. Fast forward to today, and the same issue started happening again. Unfortunately, I was away on business, and my wife was home with the kids, getting tired of relighting the pilot every morning and sometimes multiple times during the day. We called The Water Heater Company, and their service and communication were excellent. After diagnosing the issue, they contacted Rheem and ordered replacement parts under warranty: the burner assembly and control valve. They gave us three options: replace the two parts under warranty, replace the entire water heater, or install a tankless water heater. Because this is a very expensive unit that otherwise works well, we chose to repair it. Here's my honest opinion. As a fellow tradesman, I understand that skilled work is expensive. Still, the labor charge of $800 felt very high for what was essentially a warranty part replacement. The first visit took about an hour, and the second visit took around 50 minutes. I understand there's drive time, phone calls, office staff, insurance, tools, and scheduling overhead, but it still seemed excessive. Maybe I'm looking at it through the eyes of someone who usually handles these kinds of repairs myself, but I was away for an extended period and needed the problem resolved. So I'm torn on the rating. Quality of work: 10/10. Professionalism: 10/10. Price: 4/10. In the end, though, I paid for peace of mind and have the issue fixed correctly than save a little money and end up with a possible poor repair.
