I have the best of things to say about Gold n Time. I found him by chance- I am a regular at a neighboring business and I stopped by Gold n Time for assistance with maintenance on a watch I own. Fotis was very helpful from the start- Very pleasant, soft spoken and thorough but to the point. He gave me an idea of a time frame and what the service would include. We scheduled a time for drop off and away I went. When I dropped off my watch, Fotis was just as pleasant as my first encounter with him. He gave me a time frame of the service. He then called me with an update that there were some parts that needed replacing and confirmed that I wanted to proceed with the repair. I used to serve the owner coffee at a neighboring coffee shop. We never did business before other than coffee transactions but I thought he was cool from the start. Gold N Time really does offer incredible customer service. It was our first time in, but it won't be our last. My wedding ring needed fixing because one of the prongs broke off and my diamond had fallen out. I looked online for a repair shop close to home and found Gold N Time. I called to make sure they could fix it and asked for details of how long it would take. My husband took it in for me and since we needed a new prong, was told it would take a day or two. Within a few days we got a call that it was ready. When I came home that night and my husband handed it to me, my jaw dropped. My ring looked amazing. The jeweler had taken out all the diamonds, cleaned it, fixed the prong and put it back together like new. It looked better than the day I first saw it! I highly recommend Gold N Time. Huge RAVE for an amazing small business! I have a St. Christopher pendant that a gift from my Mom, to my Dad on their 1st wedding anniversary and it was in need of a bale so that it could be placed on a necklace. I stopped by GoldNTime earlier this week for some assistance and explained, that the pendant was being gifted to my son who is currently away serving in the U.S. Marines and I needed to ensure that the bale and chain would be strong and withstand the rigor that Marines train with. As I chatted with Fotis, he shared that he was also in the Marines as a young man in Greece. We discussed what needed to be done for the pendant and he suggested the strongest of chains for the pendant and then, he said "this is my gift to you, no charge. I went to this shop based on all the positive reviews. Took in 3 watches, one of which was a vintage watch. The owner said he was a watchmaker so there shouldn't be a problem replacing the battery on my vintage one. When I went back to pick up my watches, he said the vintage watch needed to be repaired, that the manufacturer no longer makes parts for it. To repair the watch, he would have to replace the entire inside mechanism, for $180. I told him I'd think about it. I then took my vintage watch to the watch kiosk at the mall. He changed my battery, and the watch works fine. Very disappointed with this store. I usually like to support small businesses but I won't be referring this place to any of my friends. read more

I went to Gold N Time for the first time yesterday and am now pleased to be a customer. I was thoroughly impressed by Mr. Vassiliadis' integrity and honesty with me. I came in to have an appraisal done and when he saw my old appraisal paperwork, Mr. Vassiliadis was very straightforward and told me he thought there might be a way to get the appraisal updated from the establishment where my husband first purchased the jewelry. He could have taken the $75 fee and done the appraisal anyway but instead he tried to save me the money by being honest.
