    Sparerib soup

    This place wasn't what I expected. I wish I was the previous review stating it's not Shanghai soup dumplings !!! I had to find out the hard way. We ordered the "steamed pork buns" thinking it was Shanghai SOUP dumplings because in Chinese.. that's what it translates it. But when we picked up the order at the counter top, it looked like small bakery buns. We ate a bite and it was steam white bread buns where Chinese bakeries sell in the steam box. (This was disappointing :( ) We ordered fuzhou wonton soup, spareribs soup, and oxtail soup too. These are really all just OK. The wontons tasted the best to us... The meat soups came in little tin cups. The soup was filled with herbs like goji berries, ginger, etc. it was oily and it's not salty enough. I'm not sure if this spot is cash only... but the prices are low if you're into steam pork buns, not soup dumplings ;

    Small place, food was okay. No frills or thrills ... a place for a snack or fast eats. In general if you are short on time and just want something to munch on, this might be the spot for you.

    Haven't had xiaolong baos in a while and this new place recently opened up! I had forgotten to take photos of my food before eating them but they were quite yummy! I have a new spot to go to in this area now! I will need to come back to update my review

My favorites include the House Special Ma Ma Noodle Soup which has a bit of everything in it, the Hot and Spicy Wontons, and the Braised Beef Noodle soup. Their wontons are homemade and packed with so much flavor. They have 5 options for noodles and make everything right in front of you. The older couple who runs the spot are always so sweet and polite. Don't miss out on the cheap drinks - the homemade Chinese herbal tea is a must get!

I liked all the toppings that it came with! This time I ordered the wonton and dumpling noodle soup. It came with 3 wonton, 2 dumplings, and some bok choy. Not sure if it was because I did takeout and my noodle soup was overcooking in its container, but the dumpling skin was mushy and falling apart from the meaty party of the dumpling, and the bok choy was also a dull green color. Either it was overcooked or old bok choy. They tasted fine, except maybe one was a bit bitter. I was also expecting egg noodle, but it came default udon noodles (you can ask them to change noodles, I just didn't ask). The broth wasn't flavorful either. Although this dish was a miss, I would come back for their other dishes!! Cash only establishment, or you can zelle them.

    A Chinatown Must‑Visit for Dumpling Lovers…read more I was in New York on a work trip, and my colleague - a proud local - promised to take me to the best dumpling spot in Chinatown. Let me tell you, he did not exaggerate. This place absolutely delivered. The moment we walked in, the atmosphere hit me first: colorful, lively, buzzing with energy in the best way. It's hip without trying too hard, and everything felt clean and well‑kept. Service was lightning fast, too - dishes were coming out almost as quickly as we could order them. Now, the dumplings. Amazing. Truly some of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and paired with a savory sauce that made every bite even better. Even the little dipping sauce was delicious. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. A couple of tips for anyone planning a visit: * They're cash‑only, so make sure you come prepared. * Reservations are encouraged - this place is clearly a go‑to spot, and for good reason. If you're in Chinatown and craving dumplings that actually live up to the hype, this restaurant is a must. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the city!

With dozens and dozens of items on the menu, we were a bit overwhelmed but looked around at other tables to see what looked good and our server helped us identify the dishes and give suggestions. We ultimately went with the Szechuan potstickers and pork soup dumplings. Both were so flavorful and we ate every last bite. I loved the ginger ponzu mixture that came with the soup dumplings and will be dreaming about these dumplings for weeks to come! Would love to go back to try other items and see the super friendly staff again.

This was the first time I hung out with these ppl outside of boxing class so I was very excited. I did get a bit overserved with sake and other stuff and resulted to being an inconvenience. Haven't hung with them since, which I guess is what it is. Some ppl will make a decision off of one incident and others will have grace. My friends were unfortunately the first type of ppl. Anyways, regardless of all that, just talking food and drink, there was a decent wait even when everyone in our party was there. They will not seat you until everyone has arrived by the way. The drinks were limited from a variety standpoint so we just share lots of sake. Foot was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Personally do not think I would seek this place out, but if I happen to be in the area and I am hungry, I would. Also, shout out to Nelson our server who was super sweet.

Growing up, we had pan fried noodles all the time. They're harder to find now, and when I do find them, they're often disappointing. Not here. The shrimp pan fried noodles were excellent. Perfectly done and full of flavor. The crab & pork soup dumplings were delicious, and the fish cake & fish ball noodle soup totally hit the spot. Portions are generous! I had enough for lunch and dinner the next day, which is always a win. I've passed this place so many times and I'm so glad I finally gave them a try. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Also, I have to mention the packaging. Some of the best I've ever seen for delivery. Each soup dumpling came in its own separate plastic cup (if you've ordered these before, you know how easily they can arrive broken with soup everywhere). The pan fried noodle broth was sealed and packed separately from the noodles, and the soup was packaged thoughtfully as well. Everything arrived intact and fresh. Highly recommend!

The container they used to separate the noodles from the soup was a genius idea; I was worried there'd be no broth left by the time it arrived, but everything held up really well. The preserved egg and pork congee was just okay, but overall they clearly do wontons and noodles well. I wouldn't do delivery again, but I'd happily come back for takeout or dine-in and try more dishes.
