Got a pastor burrito add guac and my girlfriend got eggs/potatoes/cheese/beans/guac breakfast burrito and both were amazing. Chips and salsa were included and freshly homemade. Unfortunately, as a human with only one stomach, I ventured only into one of those worlds at the recommendation of my very gracious server: Cochinita pibil. I'll leave the exact description to the good folks at wiki and the goog, but the taste, texture, everything was amazing. Tried it as a taco and in huarache form. Can't go wrong with either, but you get more flavor in the taco format. Since I arrived with a craving for enchiladas, I also had the shredded beef Gonzalez enchiladas. Pretty simple, right? Nope. Intricate perfection. The rice, fluffy, seasoned but not overly so. The beans, not mush or overly fatty. Perfect. The shredded beef? Tender, fresh, not over cooked. Even the tortilla was cooked to perfection. Amazing. The green sauce? Leagues beyond ordinary. I tasted flavors layered together. The meal was masterful, y'all. Enjoy it. Live and in -person. I'd actually give this place 4.5 stars... Wanted to try somewhere we haven't tried before and with all the great reviews we had to try this place. I called in to take out food. We ordered kids 2 street taco w/all rice, kids cheese quesadilla w/all rice, kids 2 hard shell taco w/fries, chille relleno and a wet burrito. The girl taking my order was helpful and friendly! I'm glad she repeated my order back to me after I was finished telling her my order. It's reassuring that she got my order correct! I love how this place has a kids menu. Some place we've been to doesn't have a kids menu My kids ate all their food!!! The rice was tasty! It wasn't too dry or sticky. Their tacos portion was just enough for them! The carne asada wasn't dry or hard. The cheese quesadilla was good. There was a good amount of cheese in the tortilla. The wet burrito was filling and delicious! The green sauce on top wasn't spicy which was perfect for me cause I can't handle too much spice. The chille relleno was perfect! Enough cheese to pepper ratio! The beans was delicious! I was at work craving machaca for breakfast, so I ordered from Gonzalez's via Postmates. The food arrived in less than 30 minutes, and MAN, this was a huge plate of machaca! It was exactly what I wanted it to be. Rice & beans were good, machaca was JUST how I like it. Not greasy, not overloaded with peppers and onions. LOTS of flavorful meat. Eggs were mixed in perfectly. They are doing machaca right! Salsas on the side were good, and the flour tortillas were thin and yummy. It also came with a side of tortilla chips. This breakfast was so big that I had more today, and still have leftovers for tomorrow. Hard to believe this breakfast that will feed me for three days was only $10.25! If you like machaca, order from them! I will definitely try more of their menu, and next time I want machaca, I know where to go! read more

We decided to go there based off of the yelp reviews and I'm so glad that we did go. The restaurant has a cozy home feeling. It was very clean. We got greeted by Ricardo. We knew that the food was going to be good when he brought out some home made chicharrones. We ordered menudo, enchiladas de mole, wet burrito and a pambazo. Everything was delicious. Ordered food to go. We ordered camarones a la diabla, mojarra frita, and a torta. The shrimp did not look appetizing at all. They had a gelatinous awful texture. Safe to say I didn't eat it. The fried fish did not taste good either. My boyfriend described the torta as bland and super oily. We tried eating the food since we don't like to waste food but after a few bites of everything we just couldn't continue eating. Perhaps it would have tasted better at the restaurant, but that may be hoping for too much. Simple to say that we won't be ordering from here again. read more

The deep fried ice cream is the ultimate way to finish your meal. We ordered several items including Enchiladas with Mole Sauce. The chips and salsa are included. Our favorite part of the meal was the crispy and sugary encrusted deep fried ball of rich vanilla ice cream. The deep fried ice cream is something new, different and a delight. We have been here before this time our 3rd time. Time 1 and 2 were great we ate there. This time we ordered out .....huge mistake 2 wet burritos one of carne asada and the other of chicken. The chicken was so hard inside the burrito and both burritos were 80% rice. I called and complained about OUR RICE BURRITOS LOL and they said they would call me back and refund my money. 2 hours later not a call back, then I called back before the closed and obviously they had my number and didn't pick up. They refunded 12.00 of my 39.00 I spent. Which is fine I guess every one has to make money but have the common decency to call someone back if you say your going to call back especially in the restaurant industry. The only reason they even got 2stars was because they refunded a portion of the burrito money, the girl taking the order was nice and the flan was good. And because maybe this was a slow off night and they had to make money off the nasty burritos they sold. read more

Brought my father for a Sunday lunch. The kitchen music was a bit too loud since the server was having a hard time hearing when we placed our order. Long story short: Ordered 4 chicken enchiladas but the waitress heard 4 mole enchiladas. Also asked for more sour cream but waitress heard cheese. When we told her about the enchiladas being incorrect she proceeded to insult my father telling him that he needs to speak up and speak proper. Very Disappointed! We tried the Pambazo - it was HUGE and tasted delicious. My wife had the cheese enchiladas and they were just as good. The only odd issue was that you're not able to mix and match an enchilada plate - never heard of that before. But besides that, everything was on point. I know things happen but pretty off putting. Found this place on Yelp when we were in Anaheim and we needed to find a good Mexican restaurant. It showed 5 stars with 364 reviews, so we had to go. The place is small but cute, holds about 40 people at one time. Everyone is VERY friendly and very attentive to your needs. We thought we ordered at the front, but it is actually a sit down restaurant. Told us to sit wherever we liked and they they came over right afterwards.
