What a delightful meal for lunch. This was a couple weeks ago, a rice bowl with chicken & greens. Everything perfect perfectly cooked. There are some sort of sauce on the chicken and it really hit the spot. It's my first time going and I will definitely go again. I love their up cycle eclectic fence also. I was about to leave because my puppy was causing a fit in the car; someone came out to ask me if they could help me and I explained my situation when they invited me to sit outside where dogs are allowed. It was a beautiful sunny day. They brought the food out to me and it was absolutely delicious.

What a unique and awesome spot just 8 minutes from downtown Mendocino! This is a little restaurant in Casper that creates unique menus with food from local sources. It is located in an old home and feels like you've walked into a friend's place to have dinner with! They have a bar and plenty of seating. Homemade sourdough, local beers and kombucha on tap, and INCREDIBLE food. The star for us was the quarter chicken which had the most insane flavor paired with cabbage and potatoes and a delicious chimichurri sauce. Not pictured we got seared cod which was caught that day and nice slice of chocolate cake that was simply perfect. My only critique would be since the menu is new every couple days with locally grown goods would be more description on the menu or from the servers about each dish. This would only enhance the excitement for the amazing meal this restaurant will prepare. So excited to go back to this place. Definitely make a pit stop here if you are in town!!

Excellent. We read the good reviews but we were still knocked off our socks. They accommodated our group of six, plus a baby and dogs outside at the perfect table no problem. The food was the definition of chefs kiss. We honestly might come back during this same trip, it was that great. Don't skip it!

Don't miss Good Bones if you are in the area! A true hidden gem situated right off the highway between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. They have a small menu with simple, fresh, hearty food that tastes delicious and leaves you feeling good. Particularly excellent is their homemade bread, which they use for all their sandwiches. It's in a cool old pub and retains that aesthetic. Friendly, non-pretentious service and our food arrived quickly. I hope we can return.

This was amazing find. From the fresh sourdough, beet salad, chickpea cakes with a spread that was yum as well as black trumpets and some greens. The child plate of chicken thigh with fresh veggies looked incredible and my son ate it all up swiftly. The cream pie was delicious as well. Loved it

And my partner had a very generous ceviche, part of which made it back to the hotel for snacks tomorrow. The aspect of a gluten free menu made my partner very happy. The bread has gluten but we were offered the gluten free option which we passed on this time. Also offered a substitute local sav blanc which paired well with the pork belly. Need to take pics next time. Next time was the next day, the gluten free thing made this an easy decision and I remembered to take pics beforehand. Grilled Octopus was tasty. We shared the seared ahi tuna and holy crap it was the bomb. The wasabi aioli and chili crunch was over the top yum. Just enough heat and the mixed berry sorbet will sort you out if the heat gets you. Also got the gem salad which was a great complement and breather between the starter and entree

I licked all the garlic off of the shell. inside seating. there's also outdoor seating which is under a tent, a bit humid butyou get used to it. the train runs through maybe every 15 mins and it is crazy loud. it commands the whole room's attention, everyone must look at it, because you just cant talk over that loudness. it was fun to wave to some passsngers. the semifreddo dessert was wonderful! a frozen mouse, chocolate flavor with strawberries on top.

Which was fresh and great tasting, but a bit too much bread for me. I had a side salad with a fantastic home made dressing. My wife ordered the Chicken panini and potatoes. It was also very good. The look is very much a country cafe vibe, yet somewhat upscale too. The lunch outside was so enjoyable. The space and garden is delightful. Seating is far enough apart so you don't feel cramped. I started with the soup of the day which was wonderful. Then I chose the Rock Fish Tacos and oh my goodness, some of the best tacos ever. I liked that they didn't automatically fall apart when you picked it up. Plus the flavor and tenderness of the fish was spot on perfect. For dinner during a subsequent visit sitting inside at a cozy table was equally enjoyable. Four of us had a tough time choosing entrees as everything on the menu looked appealing. We started and shared the cheese board which was fabulous. Local cheeses were the highlight and ever so good. For my entree I chose the Gnochi with vegetagles. I very much enjoyed the overall dish but the gnochi were somewhat sparse and not that good in texture. Surprisingly that didn't impact the overall impression as everything else in the dish was satisfyingly delicious. It was an adequate portion and the price point good for the quality. We went through two bottles of wine, one suggested by the server. It was spot on. This is a delightful restaurant and if you're in the area definitely make it a stop for either lunch, when available, or especially dinner.
