The dish is very veggie forward so if you prefer more protein, spend a few extra dollars and order extra protein. The reason for 4 stars and not five is for two reasons. The veggies - onion and green peppers, cabbage - are diced, not cut in strips as is traditional. This may sound minor, but shape affects texture and makes it challenging to eat along with the noodles. Dicing is typically for fried rice or chicken and cashew type dishes, not long noodle dishes. And the peppers are green, not red, which have a much better flavor. Although I was the only one eating my meal there, people were coming and going picking up take-out orders. From the conversations, it was obvious many were regulars. Parking was a bit sketchy - there is a strip parking area right past the restaurant - and thankfully on this late night, while I was alone, there weren't any tents otherwise I would probably have passed. Something spicy might have helped, but we had a little bit of a hard time getting the staffs attention after food came out, including to pay. I love Xiao long bao, Shu Mai, Bao, BBQ Pork Buns and any other tasty dumpling I can get my hands on. HÂP Fresh makes all of their dumplings fresh, so they deliver on flavor, texture and steaming hot deliciousness. My husband and I came hungry! We had been waiting all day to sample the menu, so we ordered a selection of dishes family style. Nope, no eggs, barely any grilled pork, mostly just the ground pork, noodles, and broth. I was disappointed to say the least.
