    Nem Rolls
    Julie P.

I live down the block from here and it has always been delicious! I think the sauce container has gotten smaller so you may need extra sauce for the nem rolls. I don't usually dine inside but staff are usually nice and remembers to give you utensils and napkins. Definitely a mom and pop type of restaurant. I would just always order to go and eat at home.

Wow, this place is a hidden gem! When I came in I was instantly greeted by the nicest guy behind the counter. I explained this was my first time in and I wanted to know what was good. He went over to the counter where the hot food was coming up to show me what some of the items looked like. Everything looked great and fresh. I decided to go with the Teriyaki Chicken but I asked for it to be spicy. They did such a great job! Everything was fresh, hot, the veggies were still crisp, and the spicy level was Perfect! They even give you a side of Teriyaki sauce if you wanted to pour over your rice and chicken and a side of Sriracha. If you want noodles or fried rice instead of white rice, it's $3.00 more. I wish I lived closer to Portland. I would be at this place all the time.

Another fantastic visit. I really do think that not only is this place great, but gets better each time. The veggies and meats are so fresh. People are so so nice and it's so clean.

This place is another hole in a wall joint not because it's off one of the shittiest roads known to man lol. 82nd Ave, But because the location is trash people don't know how delicious, fast, and affordable this place is. Service is friendly! Let's start off with their boba drinks, 10/10. Freshly blended fruit teas made with real fruit purées and fresh brewed tea. It's so refreshing and not overly sweet, I'd down like 3 drinks in one sitting. I got the POG and tropical blend. Then off, the Amount of food i received I was okay paying for it because it was actually good! The salt and pepper squid was a star for me. Usually it's either toooo salty or soggy or both! And it wasn't that! 9/10 wish there was more squid less rice. The salad rolls are also freshly made there and not pre wrapped and that alone I appreciate. Check them out and get their fruit teas it's bomb.

Some of the best damn salad rolls I've ever had! Freshly grilled chicken wrapped inside rice paper with veggies and crispy noodles. Their garlic green beans are pretty damn tasty too. Plus, boba!

Stopped by here since we were in the area, and a friend recommended this place. So glad we stopped here! It's in a plaza with a plaid pantry right next to it. The parking lot is not that big, but we came around 2pm so had no issues with parking. Between two people, we ordered spring rolls and chow fun with beef. Wow! It was SO good! I wish we ordered more food but only had a few hours until dinner, so this was more like a quick snack. The beef chow fun is the BEST I've ever had. There's a phrase in Cantonese called "wok hei," and I am not sure quite exactly how to describe it. It's basically the taste of food from a perfectly seasoned wok (if that makes sense...). The rice noodles are wide just like they should be and are perfectly soft without being soggy. The beef was also very tender! I liked that there wasn't a lot of excess sauce because you could actually taste the flavor of the beef, egg, bean sprouts! I also loved that it wasn't greasy. Tasted truly like a home-cooked dish Now onto the rolls...so fresh and such a good portion! We got the nem rolls, which has generous portions of fresh veggies. It comes with a container of peanut dipping sauce. Will definitely be coming back! I definitely want to try their other offerings as everything looks and smells amazing!

This place is like a hidden gem in Portland. Food was extremely good and I could tell all of them were freshly made. The Korean beef short ribs were really good, the amount of meat that they gave was very generous. The salt and pepper squid was super amazing. The beverage options were very good and having the Mexican Coke available was def a game changer. Everything taste better with Coke

Coconut Curry & Pad See Ew

Cleared out my fridge before vacation a little to well, so I decided to order Yelp Delivery from this place nearby. Was in the mood for some curry and noodles (when am I not?) and loved that both options could be plain veggie - no tofu, no meat, just as is. Loved the flavor of the coconut curry! It reheated well the next day also. Pad see ew was good too but I did add my own sriracha. Plenty of broccoli and corn in both. Two fortune-less fortune cookies were included! Guess I'll make up my own fortune.

Before I dive into the nitty-gritty, I would like to give the biggest thanks to the staff. My grandpa had an unexpected accident while we were dining in. The staff was calm, helpful, and very much understanding. It was a lot of emotion and chaotic activity, but thankfully everything is fine. THANK YOU! Ok regardless I was going to pass on a stellar review. The food was fresh, the space was clean, and the staff was awesome (as you know). We got the coconut curry, broccoli beef, orange chicken, classic milk tea, and ube horchata. All of the entrees were packed! They're served in a to-go container because they know you'll have some for the next day. The ube horchata was a treat! Definitely worth getting for a dessert. Located in Portland,OR. Limited parking spaces. Indoor seating and takeout available.

Bomb.com! I just ordered some salad rolls to go! As I sit and eat them in the car I think! Yesssss just the way I like them. Exactly the same! So good! Your the best! Back to the veggies and grilled chicken it is! Upadted 070820

Nem Roll and Chicken Salad Roll
    MaryJo U.

The most delicious and fresh salad rolls are served here by friendly employees! I often crave these rolls and will grab some to share with family and friends when they come to town. They are crunchy and the flavor is well-balanced from the protein, lightly pickled vegetables, lettuce, and crunched up fried egg roll wrapper. The rolls are generously sized and one order, which consists of two rolls, can be a whole meal on its own. Today, I ordered the shrimp, chicken, nem, and beef salad rolls to share between myself and three others. It was the perfect portion size. The parking lot is shared with Plaid Pantry and it's small so you may have to circle the nearby neighborhood streets for a spot. When you enter, you order first at the counter and they'll call your name to retrieve your food. There's always a ton of seating every time I've gone to the restaurant so it's a fine place to have a quick bite. I really enjoy this gem of a restaurant and hope the salad rolls never change.

    Love it.

I will say that as an observational person, I noticed a lot of female employees washing their hands, but very few male employees washing their hands. I was glad to have a female server. She followed up often with drinks, which was fantastic. Food: We got the Kingston Fix slushy tiki drinks and those were good. Nice and refreshing for the hot day. Sweet and sour fried chicken - the small was plenty for us, since we had been snacking all day. They were lightly breaded, very crispy, and not heavily drenched in sauce, but still very flavorful. White curry with brisket burnt ends - light curry taste and the pieces of brisket made this dish so robust. The brisket was a bit crunchy at the tips, but it fell apart in your mouth and wasn't chewy or tough. Overall wonderful experience. My dudes - please wash your hands. (We were there ~45 minutes and one dude with glasses washed his hands twice. I didn't see any other dude wash, but maybe there's another sink elsewhere.)

After I read reviews about Portland's Chinatown, I searched for a dimsum place outside of Chinatown and found Jade Rabbit I liked the name of the place and saw that they had two kinds of rabbit-shaped dimsum! Another cool thing is that their menu is vegan... that means that I don't have to worry about dairy products that give me pain. We found free street parking about a half a block away and waited for Jade Rabbit to open at 11am. We didn't have reservations, but we're seated immediately. The decor was great! I enjoyed looking at all of the Rabbit figurines! The furniture was colorful and the convenient restroom had interesting decorations, too! The service was okay. Some items were not available and our server recited the list that included chow funn. Shucks! She came back later and said that the chow funn was, in fact, available... yay! Our server seemed a bit nervous as her hand shook and placed the special menu upside-down... LOL! We won't bite you! She recommended the Ube Jam drink - it was made with coconut cream... yes! The chow funn was a bit bland. We added some soy sauce. The Puto Pao Bunny Bao had an unusual flavor - maybe the brown sugar can be omitted because the black garlic and vegan pork might be fine without it? The Jade Rabbit Dumplings also could be more savory. Something was off... and the filling was a bit sparse. Anyway, maybe we could have ordered better, but we got what we wanted! Thank you for the cute food! Note: 22 percent is added to the bill - so no need to tip.

The place has a lot of charm and the service was very attentive and friendly. The food was incredible too. I had the Chicken Katsu Curry (Panang). The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy on the inside...perfectly brown and crispy on the outside. It came with a generous portion of rice. While the curry was flavorful and delicious, my minor nit would be that it were a little more plentiful to match the rice serving. And I like my curry on the thicker than watery side. Still, overall fantastic. My girlfriend had the Pad Se-ew and honestly, this was the star of the show. The flavors perfectly harmonized with one another and we learned that they make their own noodles, fresh. That clearly makes a huge difference. We were both very impressed. We will 10/10 return again. This place is a true gem, but I'll leave just one other minor nit...the bench seating is nice, but the pillows were not that comfortable. I would have preferred they lined the benches with long memory foam filled, lounger-style pillows.
