Their pricing is competitive and more affordable than all of the places I consulted for a mid-distance move. Lee and Yu arrived just as scheduled at 8:30am. They got right to moving, I was blown away by how quickly they mobilized because my old place has a small elevator and not the easiest to maneuver, especially considering I lived on the 3rd floor. Yes, there was expected traffic between destinations, but the unloading at the new destination was just as efficient despite a very long day of moving. The final cost was lower than I expected and there were no surprises from what I was quoted initially. Please tip these guys well - I tipped more than the recommended hourly tip rate. They work hard, carefully, and efficiently. I am recommending them 10/10 to my friends and to the Yelp community.

Especially with gym equipment, a backyard trampoline, garage items like a freezer and sauna, plus a washer and dryer--but Alexis, Peter, and Ciro handled everything flawlessly. They wrapped and protected all of my furniture with so much care, disassembled and reassembled everything, and even took down mounted TVs without any issues. They also used floor protectors and mats the entire time, which I really appreciated in both homes. Not only were they efficient and careful, but they also made the whole experience enjoyable. By the end of the move, they were cracking jokes and keeping the energy positive, which honestly made a stressful day so much better. They even let us borrow their drill while we were putting things together in the new house, which I thought was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Overall, 10/10 service. What I encountered was end-to-end excellence, from customer service to their excellent moving team. I knew our move would be a large one, so I booked a 26' truck and five-person crew. As the day of the move approached, I had lots of last-minute worries and questions and Sam, in Customer Service, answered every one and generally calmed my nerves, assuring me my move team would assist if we needed last-minute help. On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time. The foreman, Guillermo, assessed our situation and calmly confirmed my suspicious that we'd need two trucks (this my error, not OnTrack's). Before I could panic, he had contacted his team and we arranged that ours be a two day move. Guillermo's team wrapped our furniture and had the truck loaded swiftly. At the new house, we had a few of our family help direct traffic. I'd labelled every box with a color-coded room label and the team got everything to the proper room. On day two, Sammy -- part of the original crew -- acted as lead and we repeated the process. Here, a number of items still needed a bit of packing and his team had everything done in record time and -- bless them - marked the boxes for the proper room destinations without prompting. As I now unpack, I'm finding everything in excellent condition and couldn't be more grateful. We'd heard stories about moving nightmares and wanted to share a happy ending. Guillermo and Sammy were AMAZING and their crews were very hard working. Tips: my sister had a table of bottled waters, bags of chips, and other snacks ready for the team when we arrived at the new house. The team appeared grateful for the sustenance. I had a very small move including: 52" flat screen 42" flat screen Standard 5 drawer dresser, approx 6ft 5 seater sofa (breaks down into 2 sections) Coffee Table Desk (very light) Standard rolling office chair California King sleep number bed 6 hours. Both buildings with elevators, both less than 15 feet walking from elevator to truck/truck to elevator. 6 hours. They allocated 2 men for the job, which based on the inventory I could find a way to understand. But this was almost the equivalent of a fully furnished 2 bedroom home. 6 hours and not providing any form of concession is absurd. And nice gentlemen, but this wasn't exactly white glove service. Half of the items they didn't even ask where I wanted them placed or oriented. And they tracked over my brand new rug multiple times no booties even though I was adamant about that before the move began. Used a slow, manual hand wrench to try and take a flat screen TV mount off. Maybe power tools would have been better/faster? Didn't have a door stopper... maybe a moving company has a few of those handy for jobs? 6 hours. Would not recommend, wish I could do this over. 6 hours.

The movers handled my belongings far more carelessly than I expected. They were rough with my mattress, which was frustrating to watch because you expect it to be handled with basic care, not dragged around and treated like it doesn't matter. On top of that, my dining table and chairs were damaged during the move, and the shelf on my Traeger was broken. Seeing multiple items damaged during one move was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. What has made the whole experience even worse is what happened afterward. I am still waiting on the insurance claim to be resolved, which has only added more frustration to an already bad situation. Instead of feeling like this was handled professionally and with urgency, the process has felt stressful and drawn out. I also dealt with Vanessa, the owner, and unfortunately, that did not improve the experience. Friend's Moving Service was highly recommended to me by a friend. She and several of her friends…read morehad used them before. They're located in the Bay Area. They quoted me $100/hour for two movers with a 3 hour minimum and $50 gas. (Cash price.) There was some slight confusion on the website. When they say number of rooms they don't mean just bedrooms. They are counting living room and kitchen etc. We ended up adding another mover per Tony's suggestion. A side note is I am located more in the North Bay. They are based somewhere around Sunnyvale. So day of the move they were running late. I called Tony after 30-45 minutes past the expected arrival time and he let me know they were on the way but had hit some traffic. That's understandable. These movers are masters of real life Tetris! They crammed everything from a four bedroom house into one truck trip! They were very careful about wrapping up furniture with blankets and moving wrap. Nothing was damaged! They were very communicative about where to unload the large pieces of furniture in the new house. The only qualm I had was they nearly let my dogs escape from the yard multiple times and seemed amused and laughed at my panicked reaction. I had quarantined the dogs in the yard/master bedroom. But they opened the doors to move things through the yard and had the yard gate, sliding doors, and front door all open. (That could have been preventable from my end by having a friend watch the dogs at another location. But my friend and I thought that was very rude...) All in all it's a great value and they get the job done quickly. What would have taken us the entire weekend only took them the late morning to the afternoon. First time using professional movers and I'd say it's well worth the cost!
