I came across this hidden gem a couple months ago while me and a friend was in the area and we wanted a late night snack. So we both got a slice of pizza. Not sure which one I got and we went to the speakeasy room to grab a cocktail and just enjoy more of the quieter atmosphere and a cool little hidden vibe. And also they had a pool table so we was able to play pool as well. And then I went back with a couple of friends since we was in the area and we went straight to the back room and they had an amazing band set up. I honestly didn't know what kind of vibe this band was going to be but omg they were amazing!!! They had this soul in them and the singer his voice was beautiful. I can't wait to see them play again. But I ordered the expresso martini and it was good and we also shared a pizza. It was a great choice. The dining room has four tops, stools for solo diners, and a couple of larger tables for groups. The dining room was very clean and uncluttered. There is a mafia kind of theme to the dining room. The employee who helped us was so kind and helpful. He gave us a quick rundown of our options to make it simple. You can order pizza by the slice for a quick option or from the full menu. We went with pizza by the slice. There were five options in the case including cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. One of the pizzas was a half and half of different vegetable options. They also had breadsticks. The pizza is 4/5. My favorite pizza was the one with mushroom and green pepper. My kids loved the Cheese pizza. The breadstick was pretty good with a nice variety of dip options. It's also large enough to share. I love that they offer a green side salad for some vegetables too. The pricing here was so reasonable. The lunch special price is great. You can get a slice, side, and drink for $10. Our family of four ate for under $30 before tip. Overall: What a "hidden" gem! It was so delicious here, I got a slice of the margarita pizza and we also got the pesto bread. The pizza was huge (I would like to try their lunch combo sometime). It was super yummy and the place itself is so neat - a casual sit down eatery with a really cool speakeasy bar in the back! We also got a cannoli, but I wouldn't say that was much of note. At the bar, I got the Audrey Hepburn martini + the peanut butter shot. The martini was nice and sweet, and it was a pleasantly surprising taste for the shot! Came across this after hitting up the game room next door. Greeted by a young lady who helped us through all of drunken transactions...she was patient and friendly. The pizza was amazing the crust all the way around perfectly crisp all the way around..hand the perfect crunch when you took a bite. They had pizzas you can make any way you want and pizzas by the slice. If you get pizza by the slice you have to get what's available at that time. We were not too hungry and wanted variety so we chose a slice of bacon and onion and plain pepperoni. We sat at a table. The table had all the condiments you might want, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, chopped peppers and of course salt and pepper. The pizza looked great. This is the 4th goodfellas location I've been to. This exceeded expectations. Employees were great. Pizza and meatball sub were excellent. Giant portions. Tons of flavor. Classic NY slices with loads of toppings. Their small pizzas are still big. Priced perfectly - especially cocktails. If you read otherwise on these reviews, then it's probably a Karen from Southeast TN who doesn't get out enough. Cocktail menu is unbelievable. Prices shockingly cheap for Gulch/Nashville. However, my cocktail was just decent but my date's was fantastic. 100% will be coming back to try more cocktails, their hidden bar, hidden billiards room & infinite cocktail list. read more

Good location that is in walking distance to midtown and the Gulch. Slices are huge and a decent selection for walk ins. You can also order whole pizzas as well. Staff is very friendly. They also have live music on the weekends and are open until three a.m. They also have a pool table in the back area and a space that you can rent out. We have eaten at the good fellows in Chattanooga and enjoyed it so when we saw this one in Nashville we wanted to give it a shot It's a road over from most of the madness of downtown Nashville so that's a plus. The restaurant itself looks to be fairly new with a really cool atmosphere. The only downside to this place is due to its location free parking is limited. I was capable to find a parallel spot in front of the building that was free but the only other option I saw was a pay lot behind the business that was $25. The pizza was great and on par with the location in Chattanooga. A thin crisp crust New York style. We paired it with a few breadsticks which were also very good. Overall good fellows has fast became one of my favorite pizza places and I always recommend it to my friends now. read more

Can't recommend this place more!! The pizza was undeniably great and was a real crowd pleaser but the stand out what the customer service. We last minute needed 9 22" pizzas for 30 people and Danny was more than accommodating. We got 3 pepperoni, 3 cheese, 2 Vinny's, and 1 veggie. All were just as delicious as the next. On the positive side, nothing actually tasted awful. This is edible pizza. On the negative side: - For starters this place is horribly overpriced for what you get. - They topped the pizza unevenly, with one half of the pizza having the vast majority of the cheese and toppings and the other being nearly bare. - The pesto bread is tiny - far smaller than the deceptive website pictures make it appear. - For a place that spends so much time playing up their supposed New York bonafides they completely missed the mark. The sauce lacks the subtle sweetness of a NY sauce and is far more akin to the herb-heavy flavor of a Chicago sauce, while the central crust is thin and soggy with no crispness on the bottom and no rise on the top. So would I return? I certainly won't be rushing back. If I'm ever at Pins Mechanical, I want something to eat, and whatever food truck they have on site isn't doing it for me, I might considering going next door to Goodfellas and grabbing a slice. But I definitely don't see myself going out of my way to go there, or spending the outrageous price for a whole pie again. read more
