We got here around 6:30pm on a Saturday night. There were a few options for by the slice pizzas but we opted to order two whole pizzas while I friends did the single slices. My husband was set on trying the fuhgetaboutit which has EVERY topping available. When I say every one I mean all 26 toppings. The nice thing in hindsight is that the guy taking our order gave us a realistic idea of what that was going to be like before we ordered so we weren't disappointed. Good of him to do that. We waited for about 20 minutes for the pizza which wasn't bad. I had ordered a half and half. Mix of a meatball option they have and a meatlovers. Respectively called the Nonna's Pie and the Goodfella. The crust was a bit chewier than I prefer but it wasn't bad. I happy ate it. They don't put a lot of toppings on so the big slices make folding it up to eat a must so you get all the flavors in your bite. I was pleasantly surprised that all those topping on the fuhgetaboutit blended well together and nothing seemed to overpower anything else. You'd expect it to be jammed with toppings but it's not. Hence the reason I'm sure he warned us. It's almost like the more toppings you order the more they cut back on each one. Sad really. After owning and working in a pizza shop for years that's just not the way to build a pizza. It should be artwork. Luckily it tasted good. We got boxes to take our leftovers home with us. Due to previous unfavorable review - room temp pizza, I was given a generous gift card to come back and try again. I brought the same 2 dinner nf companions. When I ordered I politely asked if my pizza could be served piping hot. Said yes. It was NOT piping hot. It was better than last time which was room temperature and cheese not melted. This time it was warm and cheese was melted. I'm used to getting served pizza that I have to wait a few minutes to eat. It doesn't seem like the workers at GF really care . It's a shame . Taste wise pizza ok . I've had better I've had worse. The proper temperature would definitely enhance the flavor and might lead to a more positive review. read more

This was my first trip to the Cincinnati area. Walking into Goodfellows, it felt like a typical sports bar, with plenty of TV screens on the wall. However, I quickly realized this was not a typical sports bar. They specialize in pizza, sandwiches, and other items. I will say Goodfellows had a very comfortable atmosphere and plenty of people in there. Always a good sign! Our waitress was extremely friendly as well. Being in a new part of the country, I decided on a very different pizza. I went with Simpson's Way. This has Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, pulled pork, bacon, pineapple, and crushed BBQ Grippo's chips. I will first say the crust was the perfect thickness and prepared perfectly. It was a magnificent balance of flavors with the BBQ sauce, pulled pork, bacon, pineapple, and chips. After a coupe bites, I was surprised by the spice, which I assume comes from the BBQ chips. Honestly, this was one of the best pizza's I've ever had. Everyone talks about getting pizza in New York, Chicago, etc. But I've had incredible pizza in Ohio, Alaska, and Oregon. Each place preparing pizza's utilizing local ingredients or just preparing a great pizza. " so he apologizes again...I go to her nd now the line is longer bc no one locked the door at closing and some crept in. So this time I order from the loud female employee. She says it'll be right up...so I go to pay and just stand there. Now keep in mind others r getting their food. At least 20 people have been served. So I asked him....again. finally he got my money and within a few minutes I had my pizza. He apologized profusely. Meanwhile, Ole girl was still back there yelling about any and everything. I get that ur working late. It's not our fault u didn't lock the door. I have worked in the food industry. Ur guest should never hear ur complaining. Service 4/10 Ambiance: clean store. We both thought that the pizza had barely any flavor and we both rated it a 3/10. Also there was probably about five crumbs of ground beef on it. The crust was kind of like chewing on cardboard.
