Been coming to Goodfellows since our business moved down the hall 4 years ago.their ice teas are always on par; coffee--hadn't been so top notch, but love the vibe and the people working here, so I wanted to continue to support local business within our shared shopping center. However, in the past year or so, goodfellows team has transitioned to more of welcoming and friendly environment, and broadening their consumer experience--specifically in their coffee. Found this coffee shop while in the area and needed to get a quick caffeine boost and restroom stop. The one customer bathroom in this shop was clean and fully stocked. The inside of the café was very clean with enough seating and table areas for customers to hangout with friends, wait for their drink(s) and also space to do any homework/work. My husband and I ordered one drink to share, and we ordered and Iced Honey Lavender Latte. It took a while to get our drink since there was only one person working the register and one person working the bar. The drink was good with a light honey and light lavender taste to it. It didn't have as much flavor as we had hoped for but the coffee didn't overpower the light added flavors. Major downside to this place, in my opinion, is that there's only one tiny menu which was located in front of the register. Since there was a lady with her child in front of us ordering a lot of drinks, I couldn't see the menu until I got to the front. There was already a line forming with three other customers behind us. Once we got to the register.. It took us a while to view the menu, ask questions, and make a selection.. which resulted in us causing a longer line from the customer before us. read more

stopped by this place for a quick coffee and loved it so much took my friends back the following week! the service was incredible - claudia was super sweet, patient, and kind in helping me (very indecisive) decide what to get! the whole staff was truly so sweet. brought a couple friends and we were here for a couple hours watching people come and go - this was truly the place to be on a sunday morning! a few light games, chill ambiance, and just a great place to catch up with friends, grab a bite with the family, work on a project, or read a book. will definitely be back! would definitely recommend for almost any occasion read more

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Bridget is always great and super friendly. She makes amazing recommendations and is incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell they really care about their customers and their craft. Their pastries are to die for. I usually order the almond croissant, however, today I tried the chocolate and it was just as great. Love the aesthetic of this spot and that there's some seating outdoors for people to use. Pricey menu items overall. Drinks are decent and I liked the rooster breakfast burritos they had here for some time. I recently came back for those burritos and they switched it to Solrad burritos. I thought I'd give it a try and for $12-13 I was expecting a similar size burrito to that of roosters. When I opened it up, it was the smallest burrito and I wouldn't have paid such a hefty price for it had I known. Well now I know and at least service is friendly. read more

Clean shop with good variety & interesting flavors, but slightly disappointing coffee. The shop was busy on a weekend morning as expected. I really wanted to like this spot since I've heard good things, but as coffee lovers, we were not wowed & felt like their coffee was too watery. We ordered the orange cream cold brew which was interesting & refreshing, but sadly my honey latte was too light. I prefer to taste my espresso but the flavor just wasn't there. We noticed that the barista making the drinks that day didn't distribute nor tamp the grounds, so that might explain the weak shot. However, they do have some unique seasonal flavors/drinks, so maybe we'll come back to try some if we're in the area again. read more

So many intriguing choices! Which one should I try? Luckily my friend is coffee savvy so she honed in on Chaggaccino a hot coffee with a creamy, subtle chocolate/mocha flavor & an earthy note. Don't let the word "earthy" scare you or the fact that it has mushroom powder. It's delicious and even good for you! Who knew? I didn't but now I want it again. Their limited hours prevent me from answering its siren call on a regular basis but I will be back! The staff was patient & helpful. The decor warm & clean. Not a ton of seating but there are outdoor tables along with comfy seating inside. You'll find it near a Ralph's Market with a large sometimes busy parking lot. read more

I don't often go to coffee places, more of a make it at home and save the money kind of person. That being said when me and my gf are in the mood for a speciality coffee we 9 times out of 10 go here. It's close to the house, its a nice clean place, and the coffees are great. They offer cold and hot and do have some snacks. The place is usually quite busy but it never takes to long. There's indoor and outdoor seating and we've never had a problem finding somewhere to sit. I always get the Mexican mocha and my gf switches off from that and the honey lavender but gets them cold. All in all a good place if you're looking for a sweet pick me up. read more

I'm from the Long Beach area so it's a bit of a drive to Good fellows but absolutely worth it. I always order a cappuccino with oat milk topped off with cinnamon is my favorite go to drink! Today I ordered the spring milk tea (highly recommend) The staff is very welcoming they take the time to explain the menu if i ask. if extremely busy they're honest and will tell you a wait time whether it's on kitchen or bar which is also appreciated, ( I don't mind waiting either way) Every drink I've had from the signature to the seasonal drinks have always been top tier for me as well as the food! I stumbled across this place one weekend and decided to give it a try because from the outside looking in, it was promising! For coffee, I got myself the crème de la crème latte while my boyfriend got a regular good ole drip black coffee. For my latte, I am not entirely sure if the crème de la crème latte was supposed to be sweet or not, but to me, it just tasted like a plain cup of coffee with some milk. I still give it a 3/5 just because the espresso taste in itself was strong and full, but again not entirely sure if it's supposed to be a sweeter drink. For food, we got the bagel sandwich and burrito which we both very much enjoyed! They have a few bagels you can choose from which I very much appreciated. If I'm remembering correctly, I believe they have a jalapeño cheddar, everything, plain, and one other one! read more

The espresso is so roasty and rich. No bitterness, just a rich flavor. I live over an hour away and will coordinate a trip in the area just so I can enjoy this delicious brew. The service is always friendly and welcoming. And the esthetic of the shop is beautiful. read more

So glad Cypress is stepping up the cafe game! This is a cute modern spot off Ball and Denni, with a solid espresso/ brewed coffee selection. They have the good syrups and can make most any combination. Prices do reflect the aesthetic, but the wifi, seating options, and good service make it worth the while. read more

This one is in a good location, near Ralphs and other shops. I like the selection of coffee and also the decaf option. The prices seemed higher than other places but I could be wrong. Inside the ambience has a really upscale vibe which for me personally wasn't an inviting place i would want to hang out in. But there were people there. The bagels seemed expensive for what you get. I frequent a lot of coffee shops on my way to work in Orange County. This coffee shop hit a lot of my personal likes when scouting for a good place. For one the location is easy to find and has ample parking. Secondly the ambience, decorations and seating arrangements are great with plenty of areas to either work on a laptop, work on a couch with an iPad and there's also outdoor seating too! I also like how the interior isn't the typical white with light wood as I'm seeing in a lot of coffee shops. Third, which is just as important is the drinks, I've had their iced crème de la crème, which I believe is their version of a Spanish latte and it's actually really good (not too sweet, not too bitter) - I'm always concerned when a shop is nice inside if there drinks will be just as good but they're! (Had their bagel sandwich and was good too!) Lastly, their pricing is very fair, I can get a large drink with exactly how I want it and it'll come out to maybe $6/7 whereas other places will charge for everything as an add on and my drink will normally come out to about $9 bucks. read more

GOODFELLOWS COFFEE is located in a large shopping center that is fairly-busy (for the area/neighborhood), relatively-busy (compared to other cities). This center has a large free parking lot. We didn't have trouble finding an available spot, but the center was full of good shops and food establishments so it was fairly busy. There was no line to get into the coffee shop. There was only one person in front of us in the line to order. The person who took our order was very helpful and was very patient with our 5-person party. The baristas were fast and accurate. Our hot drinks were all still the right temperature even though each person ordered something. And she had all the drinks ready when she called our name. My CORTADO was delicious. It was very strong... but still light. I can't explain it. It definitely didn't taste like milk -- the coffee flavor is strong. But it still didn't kick me in the mouth with its bitterness -- that's why I said it's still light. The HOT LATTE definitely has a sweetness to it. Also tasted a bit citrus-y. Beautiful! The CHAI LATTE is delicious. The space is beautiful and the chairs are comfortable. There was indoor and outdoor seating available. read more

Great location, with a lot of available parking. Beautiful ambience. I liked the decor and the vibes. Very helpful very helpful staff. I enjoyed their input. I saw some tables that had available connections, with available Wi-Fi. So it looks like a very friendly and good place to come and study for college students.I got a snickerdoodle three dollars, it was a really big cookie sounds pricey, but it was very delicious. Decadent and buttery, very flaky. It was more than a cookie. It was almost like a bread, muffin, which I really enjoyed. We got the Mexican latte 9/10. I really enjoyed the cinnamon and mocha taste in this one. I don't really think a lot of places have like these Mexican salad drinks. It tasted like chocolate and Horchata. We also got the blackberry honey latte 9/10, I was off by the blackberry, I thought it would be too strong. But the subtle flavor of the blackberry was top-tier, with the honey. But I would really recommend that they put a scannable menu on the side. Or a menu of top for people to be able to read, it would be nice to be able to look at the menu while we were in line. read more

I wish I had more reason to be in the area; Goodfellows would be a regular stop on my Java circuit! THE VIBE Stopped in around 3pm on Monday and only a few folks were seated working with laptops. The vibe is modern industrial. The barista was friendly and explained a couple of unusual sounding offerings. THE DRINK I went with the summer seasonal orange cream cold brew with the vanilla citrus cold foam; it was perfectly refreshing on a warm afternoon without being cloying or heavy handed. I also see they have Sightglass Blueboon on filter so they're not monkeying around, so to speak. EXTRA CREDIT Although I was just passing thru, this appears to be a great workspace with bar seats equipped with individual power banks and USB ports. I ordered a match latte with almond milk and it was good, nothing special, but good. I also order The Good Day Sandwich, which is basically a turkey sandwich on a bagel. I know it's mid day, but 1/3 of the bagel was like a rock. I'm not sure if it was in the cooking process or was toasted in preparing my sandwich, but I had to throw a good part away. [This was a take away order, so I had no idea I would have an issue until trying to consume it 10 mins later or I would have had it remade.] This was probably an isolated experience, so no fault to the employees and I would return for another chance. Stirring up instant coffee in a handleless lead cylinder using an old sock I found resting beneath a stop sign on the corner of beach boulevard will always be my go to but if you're looking for a little less flavor then I would hands down recommend Goodfellows Coffee. Unlike the Starbucks located in Carson street in Hawaiian gardens every barista here greets you with a smile and will definitely have a conversation with you if your therapist cancelled your appointment for the 5th time in a row using the excuse "sir this seven eleven!!" Although I haven't tried to many snacks here the coffee is unbelievable. Whimsical notes to every cup only comparable to a Petite Syrah on a brisk Colorado morning. The manager, although lacking the knowledge of underwater welding while singing the ABC's in reverse, proves a hands on example for the employees on good customer service and great barista charisma.
