Go anywhere else. These guys are another shining example of why I now do all of my own auto maintenance and repairs. Sadly once in awhile you need equipment or tools that are cost prohibitive to have at home (like an alignment rack.) I dropped off my truck for an alignment at 9am after calling to confirm that they could do it. I don't hear anything from them until 2pm when they call to tell me they need to replace four easy to reach bolts with a set of alternates that allow for caster/camber adjustment. They charge me roughly $100 for the parts which is reasonable, but then they charge an additional $200 to remove the old and insert the four new bolts, maybe 20 - 30 minutes work if you're really slow and only have one good arm. Totally outrageous. Shame on me I should have told them not to bother with it and just picked up the truck. When I don't hear back from them by 5:00 I call to find out that indeed my truck is finished (they were supposed to call when it's done as I didn't want it sitting out since this shop is in a pretty crummy neighborhood.) I get there to find out that not only is it sitting outside amid the gauntlet of homeless you have to walk through to get into the place but that the doors have been left unlocked. I was even less pleased to get in and drive off only to realize the steering wheel is coated in grease. The final injustice is when I get home and discover not only have I paid a king's ransom for a lowbrow experience, I have also been charged for work that they didn't even do! Plenty of other shops, like maybe the one across the street? Take my advice, don't waste your time or money with these guys. read more

Problem 1: after having installed a set of 4 new tires at this store - with no brake work needed or requested - the "brake warning" and "tire sensor" lights both came on the dashboard while driving home (the store was then closed), along with the brakes suddenly getting weaker. I brought the car back the next day, had to leave it there and Uber to and from work (at my expense), while they repaired their own inexcusable safety errors. Given that this is a Goodyear owned-facility, I would have expected greater quality control over their work, especially when they apparently fiddle with brake systems which was not any part of the tire replacement job. I would be afraid to use them again and would try, next time, to try to get a price match from the new car dealer service department for peace of mind. Problem 2: After getting what I thought was a detailed up front explanation of all charges (including replacement of a tire-pressure sensor), oopsie, they conveniently forgot to tell me about the previously-undisclosed $160 "labor charge" that they had added to the bill at the time of car pickup. I showed up early for an appointment I made for the "free flat repair." When I arrived, I was told that I would have to leave my vehicle for 2 DAYS! This is absolutely insane for a flat tire repair. The "customer service" person in the store was extremely arrogant and acted as if my appointment was such a hassle for him. Do yourself the biggest favor and go to the other Goodyear location in LoDo or Firestone across the street. They can fix a flat in 45 minutes instead of 2 days. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. took my truck in for a simple tire change and alignment. Truck came out with improper alignment, steering wheel wasn't centered and truck veered on the road. Checked under the truck and inner tie rod boots were torn clean off. Fine, fool me once. Very polite manager Stan told me to bring it back in. brought the truck in, fixed the alignment BUT they could not find the torn boots right next to the tie rod end they were adjusting. Understand this was after they had the truck for two whole days with early morning appts. Now late for work again, I HAD to pick the truck up 2 hours before closing. They offered to put the truck back up however would not let me show their tech the issue nor would they look at the picture below. I will not be returning to this shop, the level of basic incompetence there really reflects poorly especially after their assurances the problem would and could be addressed. I have wasted a considerable amount of time and money, now having to bring the truck to another shop for proper basic care. I cannot trust a mechanic of this level to work on my vehicle a third time, even if it costs me. Future customers beware. read more

Spenser waited on me...most nicest, helpful professional guy!! He advised me of the price and even though they were busy, that it will be completed later that afternoon! (While it was a small job, I'm used to everything taking 2 days.) I needed to get back to work and I was a mile or so away. Spenser offered to drive me to my office!!! And I happily accepted. Would give 0 stars if I could. Scheduled an appointment online 4 days in advance for an oil change for 4:30pm, a good two hours before they close. I arrive and first they can't find my appointment. I show them the confirmation email and the lady behind the desk walks off. She comes back and says I would have to drop off my car and pick it up tomorrow. It is a 30 minute task, an hour tops! I refused and walked away as the lady behind the desk was extremely rude and degrading. They obviously hadn't kept track of my appointment and were unwilling to accommodate for their mistake. So sad as other Goodyear centers have always been my top choice. read more

Originally I took it to FS across the street since it was Bridgestone brand but this was Wed and they told me they could do it Sat! We had an outstanding experience at the Goodyear on 2007 N Broadway. We took our car in for a coolant leak and we had a hose that was faulty. Daniel Baughn, service manager, noticed that the hose looked fairly new and called to let us know that it might be under warranty. We found a receipt for some recent work on the car and Daniel was able to file a warranty claim for us. The repair ended up costing us nothing! Daniel Baughn went above and beyond for us and is a REAL ASSET to Goodyear! read more

I am always surprised when I read the bad reviews about this place, although I've only had very minor repairs and work done for my car. The staff is always so helpful, kind and professional to work with. They definitely do not get enough credit for that. I will never go here again. I took my car in because it is near my office and I thought it would be convenient to have them diagnose the check engine light as well as check on the struts since my car was riding a bit rough. Their website states that the check engine diagnostic is free. They charged me $112. When I asked them why, I was told that it was because it was a VW. I so stupidly decided to leave the car with them anyway because I was going on a trip the next day and wanted to make sure my car was ok. They called me later that day saying I needed 5 different repairs totaling over $2,000. They also led me to believe that my car was unsafe to drive. I told them no thanks and took my car to another mechanic for a second opinion. I gave them the printout from GY and they agreed only with 2 of the recommended repairs and their price was considerably less. They also said that my car was not unsafe to drive at all. I really feel like this Goodyear shop tried to take advantage of me and talk me into repairs that were not needed by scaring me into thinking my vehicle was unsafe to drive. I would strongly advise against going to this mechanic. read more

The staff was friendly and informative and it was a minimal expense compared to other auto shops I've visited. Horrible service! We just bought new tires. Paid 600 for them and left the car there all day. They attached the tires but didn't align them. They said to come back. We made a 9:00 appt for a few days later which was supposed to take an hour to an hour and a half to finish what they started. When we got there they said we would have to leave it again for the day. The man was soooo rude, talking to us like we were idiots that should have known it would take another full day. The man was extremely condescending and made me regret spending even a penny much less 600 on new tires. Now we have to go back in a week (we made another appt.) and hope they can get the alignment done then. Is it even safe to drive w new tires that haven't been aligned? When you drop your car off for the entire day to have the oil changed, fluids checked and tired checked only to pick it up at the end of the day to find one of your 2 week old tires completely flat. Then have them act like it's not their fault and make you sit and wait for 45 min. I consider this bad service. Not much customer care at this place at all. Never coming here again. read more

I worked customer service jobs for most of my life, so maybe my standards are too high. I asked to have a service completed and was told there would be a wait. Then instead of asking for my name to be placed on a list, both desk employees completely ignored me and began working on other paperwork. If I had not had a good experience, prior to this visit, at another Goodyear, I would never set foot in another Goodyear based on this experience. I was downtown at 5:15PM and two blocks from my son's school. Suddenly, my car got WAY LOUD and I could hear metal dragging. Parked and took a look....no surprise.....exhaust system had broken in the middle and was dragging on the street. Needed it taken off or tied up ASAP. I picked up my son and called Goodyear since closest place. They said they were finishing up a car and could get mine on a lift after that. They did. They also took off the broken piece, explained why it couldn't be re-used, disposed of it, confirmed which replacement part would be needed, wired up my muffler to keep it secure, and didn't charge me anything. I offered to pay two times and they said don't worry about it. All done in under 30 minutes. Everybody was polite and communicative even though 5:15 is a hectic time with people picking up cars. This place is amazing. Had an appointment to get my tire fixed at 1pm. They finished the work by 1:40. Not only that, they did the work free of charge as well. What a wonderful service. Super friendly and helpful staff as well. They had personality and a sense of humor which I find rare these days. There is a Firestone across the street. Don't waste your time there. I was having the kind of day that starts with getting a flat tire on the way to a dentist's appointment. Enter Katie at Goodyear. Probably the most sincerely kind person in customer service. The brand new tire that blew out was out of stock at this location (3 holes in the sidewall, WTH?!), and wasn't in any of the warehouses. She found one location in the metro area that had it, but was not sure if they could get it today. I was planning a one hundred-mile drive to see my family this weekend, so that was unwelcome news. "It'll come when it comes," I told myself. I check in with Katie at 5 p.m. and she says that they can have that and the oil change I requested done by 9 a.m. tomorrow, they hope. She calls me an hour later to let me know that there was a nail in my other tire (I suspected as much, it wasn't holding air very well), that they will fix it, and that my car will be done by six...and she's giving me a discount. A significant one. And discount aside, she is communicating with me/not leaving me hanging and just so lovely about the whole thing. So, I get a brand new tire, a repair, an oil change, and a new oil pan screw for a decent price. And I work with the nicest person in the world who kind of made it her personal mission to make sure I got to see my family this weekend. Goodyear, thanks for helping me in a pinch. And give Katie a raise. You're lucky to have her. Note: Would be four stars because they charge 35 bucks to repair a tire, but back up to five because tire disposal is only 3 bucks, so it balances out. read more

A ZERO star is more like it! We were traveling from out of town and had a flat tire late in the evening. First thing the next morning we called as soon as this location at 2007 Broadway opened and asked if we could have our car towed to their location and if they could look at the tire that morning. Stan, the manager, said "sure, we will take a look at it and we'll call you". When our car was on the way with the towing company, I called to let them know it was on the way and spoke to Dan, the service manager. Dan said he would call as soon as they looked at it. We gave them a few hours and then called to see the status. The person who answered the phone said it wouldn't be looked at until 6:30 PM!!!! Neither Stan nor Dan told us it would take a full day before they would be able to look at it. I understand they had appointments ahead of us, and I understand maybe I should have asked exact timing. But both Stan and Dan implied that they would look at it when it got there and would call us as soon as they found out the problem. They could easily have said they had 17 appointments ahead of us and it would be 6:30 in the evening before they could get to it. We lost 3 hours of time waiting for a call from Goodyear. We called Firestone across the street and they said they would squeeze it in. And we called Discount tire on Wadsworth and they also said they could get it in within an hour. We had to call AAA to get it towed AGAIN (another hour). Even after admitting they should have let us know it would take so long, Stan still wouldn't squeeze us in. Terrible service!!!! read more

If I could leave less than one star I would! Dropped off my car at 7:30AM to get only ONE tire changed. I understand the tire had to be picked up from another goodyear so I figured it would take a couple of hours. I didn't hear anything so I called at 11:20AM being it had been almost 4 hours. Was told the tire was there and it just needed to be installed, which takes no time to do. Well that's what I thought. It's almost 5pm, which is closing time so I call at 4:45pm, no answer! Call back and I get told "Sorry we forgot to call." Good thing I only live 10 minutes away. Then when I confront manager he says "sorry we get backed up" I could have at least got some kind of discount or something being that my car has been there since 7:30 AM FOR ONLY ONE TIRE!!!! We made an online appointment for 9. We showed up early at 7:30 in the hopes we could get the work done early, and Stan, the owner, accommodated us straight away. Stan's team pulled a phillips head screw from my tire, patched the tire, and charged me nothing. As in, minutes later we drove away with a patched tire for free. I'm still amazed that this happened. I cannot recommend Dave and his team enough. They fixed my car on a Sunday for an incredibly reasonable rate. Dave was so helpful and kind in explaining what had gone wrong with my car and what my options were. Honestly, I would have be the ideal candidate to overcharge-- a young out-of-towner with little mechanical knowledge who was also in a hurry to continue with her road trip , yet I walked away feeling as though he undercharged me. I had a nail in the tire of a unique vehicle with very unusual wheels and came in early in the morning with no appointment. The team at Goodyear estimated it would take about an hour to perform the repair. Due to the unique wheel they actually had to take the tire to another shop in order to mount/dismount the tire and they spent a tremendous amount of labor and time to fix my tire...and they refused to accept any payment despite my wanting to pay or at least tip them for their effort. While it wound up taking over 2 hours to fix, they were amazing to work with and did everything in their power to get me back on the road - all at no charge. Thanks very much guys! read more

Can I give less than one star? The customer service guys are terrible! I stopped in to make an appointment for the next day, the guy was less than friendly, and said he could make a 9:30am appt and it would take them an hour to do the work. Great, sounds normal. I show up this morning at 9:30am, on the dot and they guy, who isn't even taking care of me, and without even looking at me says it's going to take hours to change my tire because they have ten cars ahead of me. WHY DID I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT then?? I explained that I was moving the next day and had a 16 hour drive ahead of me which is why I set up this appointment to have my leaking tire changed. The guy could care less and just said that it would take an hour to do the work, not that they could actually do the work on my car during the appointment time. Just the fact that this guy was so rude and never even actually looked at me while I was standing there was enough for me to walk out and take my business somewhere else. This is my first Yelp post. My service on my 2006 Subaru was so bad that I felt I had to warn people not to use this service center in the future. We brought the Subraru in for its 100K mile tune up and they replaced the timing belt. They ended up reusing old parts and failing to put everything back together as necessary -- leaving off bolts, etc. As a result, the car started leaking coolant and other fluids. We took the car to another repair shop (on the recommendation of a friend), and they documented the shoddy Goodyear work with pictures. They even called the Goodyear shop to explain the issue. Goodyear absolutely refused to stand by their work and told us "sue us if you want." This was not just a mistake on the part of Goodyear, but it is clear that they intentionally cut corners on the work and took our money. We have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Bad car repair shops are the worst -- they take advantage of the fact that the consumer has no way of knowing whether the work has been done correctly. We gave the shop an opportunity to at least reimburse us for the cost of the bad work and, had they tried to help us, I would not have written this post. read more
