Instead, my car was returned with damage that was not there when I dropped it off. Discovering that alone was upsetting, but what followed made the situation even worse. Less than 24 hours after getting my car serviced, my radiator and engine were no longer operable. When I raised the issue to the Jiffy Lube General Manager, I expected a company that values its customers to at least show concern and work toward a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The response I received lacked the level of responsibility, professionalism, and customer care that should come with handling someone else's property. Leaving your car with a service provider requires trust. You assume the business will treat your vehicle with care and stand behind their work if something goes wrong. Based on my experience, that trust was not respected. For anyone considering using this facility, I strongly recommend documenting your vehicle thoroughly before service--take clear photos and inspect everything before leaving the lot. I wish I had taken these precautions beforehand.

I can't remember the last time that I've been to this franchise, as I usually go to Take 5, but I'll definitely never go back to this spot. The first alarm bell was that they made me get out of my car. I just want to get in and get out. There should be no need for me to get out of my car for a quick oil change. The second alarm bell was that the few men on staff were swearing up and down that I had been in to their shop recently (I had not) and that they had recently had a car "just like that." It wasn't just one or two comments, but went on for a few minutes and creeped me out. The third alarm bell was that after I filled out my information in the iPad provided and asked if my Veteran/Military discount was included, I was told that it should all transfer from my current profile. I didn't have a current profile. I haven't been to a Famous in many, many years. As I was waiting in their office waiting area, one of the guys came in to walk me out to my car and, basically, up charge me on stuff. I commute to St Augustine every day for work, so I'm staying on top of my oil changes and fluids. However, I'm fairly certain that my coolant needed to be topped off, so I let them do it. That said, I was told that my Veterans discount would "transfer over" and it wasn't included and that they were going to put the current oil that I was using in my car, which was non-synthetic, and they put in synthetic thinking that I wouldn't notice. When my bill popped up to be nearly $200, I looked at it and said that I don't put synthetic oil in this car and that kind of oil should not have been used. The guy at the desk took it down to a regularly priced oil change, but not without making comments in a smarmy tone like "the customer is always right" and generally making me feel like he got caught trying to upcharge me. I felt very uncomfortable from start to finish here. Everyone, ladies especially, avoid this place at all costs.

The very first visit with noise in the front end I was told it was normal and nothing to worry about. Found out it was worn strut mount, tie rod ends and sway bar bushings that were replaced at another shop. Every time I've taken the vehicle in it's developed a rattle in the front end after several days, and received a hefty bill from the shop that replaced the other components to tighten the loose components. On April 11th 2026 i dropped the vehicle off for the rotation and alignment asking the front desk to make sure everything was tightened properly. After washing the vehicle 3 days later I found damaged to a $400 rim. This is an unprofessional business that has negligible technicians. I'd avoid doing business with tires plus at all costs. Second day of driving after tires plus did the alignment and the battery light is on. These clowns have done something to the charging system and now I have to address this issue. For today's visit, I talked with Robert and was assisted by his staff. He was able to tell me the best route to take for my situation. They are extremely courteous and professional at this location and I didn't feel pressured at all like I did years ago. They tried to talk me out of it by telling me I didn't need all of it. I took my car to Famous and immediately I was greeted with a clear sense of what needed to be done and was given an exact quote of what was needed to get it fixed. It was extreme last minute notice and was taken care of without a second thought. I picked up the car the next day and it was over $600 less than the original shop quoted me on everything they wanted to replace. Famous didn't try to oversell me on anything or talk me into a service I didn't need. They gave me and my car the service it needed to run healthy.

I'm an aircraft mechanic and also work on cars. I purchased a kit and replaced my ac compressor, condenser, receiver, and expansion valve (all part of you car's AC system) and replaced o-rings and added proper amount of oil to each component. Took my car to Famous Automotive to have my car AC system leak checked, flushed and serviced. All i told them is that it was empty and what I wanted to get done, I did not tell them I replaced my AC components. After they are done the guy in the front desk named OZZY SEYAL as you can see in the receipt, told me that the reason my car was empty is because I have a "clog" in the AC system and it released all the freon and offered me to replace the "AC systems kit". That if I leave my car there today they can have my car ready for tomorrow and would cost me $1600ish. Obviously my car didn't need any of that to get done as it is literally the reason i took my car there to get serviced. So they blatantly lied to my face in order to get more money. THE REAL ISSUE IS THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO HAVE THE AC KIT PARTS IN STUCK FOR MY CAR SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THEY COULD OF DONE THAT AND HAVE IT READY BY NEXT DAY, BECAUSE IT TAKES A FEW DAYS TO GET THE PARTS DELIVERED.
