My work truck is a high mileage F150 under the Wheels management service. It was due for LOF, rotation, & inspection. I had stopped in the previous PM to make an appt, but they told me to just come in when I was ready in the AM. Got me in, did the service & showed me the worn parts in the front suspension, most I already knew about. They are making the effort to submit the other stuff under a separate ticket for possible approval, see above about fleet management. This truck is due for replacement. I was there for an oil change and almost left the store twice without having them do it. I requested a 5W-20 viscosity and that it be the 'blend' type shown under their least expensive oil change. The initial representative said 'blend' wasn't available in that most basic service even though the sign on the wall said it was and the website says that too. I said ok, just go with a conventional 5W-20 then. He said ok. Then David, the service manager came out and loudly said that the blend shown in the Good section on the wall chart wasn't available and pushed me hard to a more expensive oil pointing at the more expensive Better and Best oil categories, I said I'll stay in the Good category but it wasn't easy for him to accept. Then shortly he changed it to a 0W-20 after I specified a 5W-20 and insisted only 0W-20 was correct when my owner's manual says 5W-20 is also correct for my local very warm climate. He was loud, pushy, and we got into it. He finally agreed to my originally requested 5W-20 Blend but looked at me several times like I was an idiot for me disagreeing with him. David doesn't understand that some of his customers know more about oils than he thinks they do. Then of course he just called pushing to do more service related items when I specifically told the first guy I wanted no additional inspections done, I specifically only wanted an oil change. I have a different shop I trust 100% for other repairs that don't involve tires or oil changes. They lost me on future services that includes an upcoming set of new tires my car needs. read more

I'm not sure this place is worthy of the lonely star I have awarded it. We recently took my fiancée's car to Goodyear after the car would not start. The Goodyear rep on duty advised us that we needed a new battery and that the alternator was not charging sufficiently. We went ahead and had a new battery installed to the tune of $168 but opted to take the car to a different repair shop since the failing alternator was still under warranty. There was no evidence with the new repair shop that the alternator was failing. We also found that Goodyear in fact never installed the battery in the car. When we contacted Dan the manager, he claimed that they had proof they installed the battery (inventory records). After we showed him the attached photo as undeniable proof, he eventually capitulated and "gave us the benefit of the doubt" This shop will not be getting the benefit of my business. My fiancée missed two days of work over their incompetence. read more

My expierence with Goodyear of Fleming Island, Florida was a poor one and costly. My truck would not start at all. Had my truck towed to the shop on 9/29/2024 at 11:00 am. They waited till 1 hr until they even looked at the truck. I get a call the next day saying that the battery was bad and they had to order it and replace it. Battery is installed the next day and it was not the problem. I had to call them to find out what was going on. It was mid day monday and they told me that it was the starter and it had to replaced and it was a big job and it might be ready on late Monday evening or early Tuesfay morning? I was told when i again called the shop that they had received the wrong starter for the truck? Pk. They have now placwd another order for the starter and the truck shoyld be ready for pick up early Tuesday morning? Truck is going into the 3rd day there. Once again called Tuesday morning 2 hrs after the shop had opened and was told that they were just waiting for it to arrive and the vehicle should be ready in the afternoon. Called once again ar noon and was told itbwould be ready by 2:00 pm. Had my neighbor drop me off at the shop around 1:30 pm. When I arrived, I was told that my now started but I had no power to the radio, brake lights dash board. They had the odacity to ask me if my truck had this problem when I had it towed. They then saw that Inhad no brake lights and could not release truxk. Make a long and terrible expierence shorr. They had burnt 4 fuses and the master fuse under the fuse panel undee the hood. I finally received the truxk on Saturday October 6, 2024 with no paperwork on whatbwasbdone to correct the problem they has caused. No apologies or anything dor the inconvenience. Do not really know if I needed a new battery but was sild one?? Over priced on labor. Spent a couple of grand on a new battery and started replacement. All incan say ia this shop are incompotent and I never step foot into tgis store. This waa my second bad expierence with this shop. If you need mechanical repairs? You may want ti look elsewhere. Oh and Dave the customer representative needs to be more forth coming with the customers.. Never again!!! read more

This Fleming Island location was awesome! I took a tire and rim to them for a second opinion because the tire was not holding air and the Honda service department on Blanding Blvd. told me I needed to replace the tire and rim and they could do it for around $800. Goodyear checked everything out and told me I just had debris in between the tire and rim and the tire and rim were fine. They cleaned out the debris and put the tire back on my car. Everything cost me $21.45. Thomas was the technician that helped me and he was amazing! Thank you Goodyear for doing a thorough and honest analysis and saving me a lot of money:-) read more

Overcharged. Went for an oil change and check up. They say they give a free tire rotation, but ended up stripping my lug nuts & saying i needed to get new ones & not giving me the tire rotation. Told me multiple things were wrong, but when i went to someone else, Goodyear was wrong. Overall, go to your local shops, they'll work harder read more

Trust but verify! People don't care about quality of work, communication, etc these days. Simple oil change and tire rotation....tires were not rotated, challenged them on why....oh your tires are good you didn't need rotation....still there was a charge. Oil change, did they really change the oil? Paperwork says so but so did the tire rotation...not good, not good. read more

This place did an excellent job at providing me with service! Shelly and Eric did a thorough inspection on my 06 Nissan Sentra. My ride control is like new again and I couldn't be more happier! The technician that did the work was very professional and knew his stuff! I had to replace my control arm bushings, 4 new tires, 3 year alignment program, and new front struts! I ordered my tires online, but unfortunately the store did not have the proper equipment to mount them properly. The manager personally drove me and my tires to the dealership where they were mounted, gave me a ride to work and then pick me up at the end of the day. The only reason this despicable place even got one star is because none wasn't an option! They take advantage of single women! My girlfriend took her car there for an alternator problem as well as an oil change. They struggled to diagnose the problem and said it wasn't the alternator. Clearly it was or I wouldn't be writing this! Her car died later that night and was towed in back to their shop. They called her and said it was the alternator and one of her belts needed to be replaced. To which they charged her $812 to replace! Over $600 for an alternator that Autozone has on the shelf for $159 after core exchange. Keep in mind they also said "ONE" of her belts need replacing. I asked which one? Because....(drum roll) there is ONLY ONE!! To top it off, she was told they gave her a deal by giving her $200 off the alternator! They were gonna charge her $800 for something that is $159. Oh, for those wondering....the labor isn't that much. If it takes a mechanic that long to justify that price, he should be fired!! Never go there ladies, or anyone else!! We stopped in and Customer Advisor Shelly Parish not only took us in on a busy Saturday, but offered for our dogs to come in from the heat. I have went to this location 4 times. Each time they have told me repairs would cost over $700. My tires were bad within 5,000 miles, and the rep said my car needed a wheel alignment and struts Ironically the bill was round $1200. I was told I could receive credit for new tires. I went to the Toyota dealership, and the rep there said my struts were fine and the wheel alignment I just recieved within 2 weeks was still within Toyota specs. I went somewhere else to receive credit for my tires. I am glad I did. read more

Ripp off alert...!!! I took my daughters car in for an oil change. Awhile later I get the call, two of the tires are down to the "wear indicator" and need replaced ($190+ tax) and her front brakes "are almost to the metal"their words), and she needs rotors and pads ($340+tax)... I tell them to change the tires but don't touch the brakes. She was due to drive back to Orlando that evening for collage, so I immediately call Advanced in Green Cove and got the pads and rotors for $140. After taking the first wheel apart I discover that the pad they called "almost to the metal" is actually just slightly less then half as thick as the new pad and it had plenty of miles left on it. Since I had it pulled apart I went ahead and replaced them. Question everything at this place... read more
