Terrible experience with this location and service rep Paul. He told me they charge $180 to diagnose my truck when I told him my truck is making a funny noise, and when I told him I had an email for Care Care for free check, he said it did not include brakes. Then I checked my email to verify, and the email said it did include brakes, so I came back to the store and showed him my email. He said we can schedule an appointment for the next day. After I dropped off my truck, Paul called me to say all these service maintenance is advised and will cost $500, but the brakes look good. They didn't have enough time to do the repairs that day, so I picked up the truck and brought to Midas. After Midas checked my truck, they said the brakes and rotor need to be replaced, and they showed me via FaceTime. I was upset Goodyear told me the brakes looked fine, when they needed to be replaced. Goodyear never even checked, so Paul was a bunch of BS. They have a bad attitude at this location, and as far as I can tell, they ALL need to be replaced. Don't go to this location, there terrible! read more

Pretty good group of people. I actually ordered everyone online and chose them to do the servicing. A lady called to ensure I chose the right tire size, I did. The only problem is I was literally the first person to do everything online and they couldn't figure out how to finish it in the system which caused me to wait an extra 35 minutes. I hit a pothole late sunday night. I was on my way out on Monday and saw my flat tire. Put the stock spare on and started looking for tires. Called a bunch of places and Goodyear was the most affordable. Patrick said they had 2 in stock and that they could unmount and mount right now (around 5pm). I got there in 10min and he tells me, "sorry, we don't have them in stock it's in kapolei. I can order and have them delivered here tomorrow by noon" I said awesome get me all 4. They call me just before noon and say "tires are here, would you like to make an appointment?" Then I get the next available is tomorrow.. I about lost my shit! Why would I order tires from Goodyear and not have them installed! I go to Goodyear to pick them up, (I only buy 2) and the guy asks me if i want to make an appointment? I wanted to choke someone! I told him no and he asks if I have someone to change it? I could've said some unpleasant things but I just needed to get my tires fixed. I finish my transaction and the guy says, "thank you!" and helps the next person. Doesn't ask me if i need help taking the tires to my car, doesn't open the door for me, nothing! read more

I usually get my safety inspection done at Oil Changers, but against my better judgment, I decided to give Goodyear a shot. I took my car to this particular location. We have out of state tags, and have never had any issues in the past, but this location "failed" us for it. Even though our out of state registration is up to date. They said I needed to take it to the DMV and get the out of state permit. I explained that I already had the permit, and have had it for three years. They said they needed a physical copy apart from the blue sticker showing our registration is up to date. So I drive to the DMV and they don't understand what Goodyear Mililani is asking for. They stated as long as we have the blue sticker, it should be evidence enough that our out of state registration is up to date. So I called Goodyear Mililani and explained to them what the DMV said. They said they still needed a physical copy. So I just took it to Oil Changers and they passed us with no problem. Long story short, don't waste your time at this location. They are incompetent and just make stuff up. I will never use Goodyear again for anything. read more

About 20 miles after a 4 tire install the TPMS light on my car comes on. Being a former mechanic I didn't blame GY. I figured, given the age of the vehicle(2011), it was probably time for new sensors(4-6 yr LS) anyway. I diagnosed with Toyota TechStream found to have 2 bad sensors. Called GY was quoted $432 for 4 sensors. I opted to just change the 2 bad sensors @ $230ish. Drop it off at 10a; was told 45min to finish. 2 hrs go by, the counter calls and says 3 sensors are bad. Strange cause I tested it but whatever, they got the tire tech tools, who am I to question. I still asked him why they didn't find this problem when they were changing my tires the day before? He tells me that the sensors were working fine yesterday. Ok So then I ask how much for 3? He tells me $472. I tell him whoa that's more than what I was quoted for 4. He directs me to the Mgr. I ask the Mgr about the discrepancy and he tells me the price he quoted me for 4 was without tax. So it would be $468 for 4. Why does the price keep changing? I say whatever, do all 4, I need new sensors anyway, I don't have a tire machine to do it myself and I really want that dashlight off. Was told about 2hrs. GY kept the car til 4p. I go to pick up the car. The counter tells me a sob story about what the tech had to go through to turn off the TPMS light. I Pay, hop in car, light still on. Talk to tech, tries to blame the problem on a faulty ECM. Ultimately found out he doesn't know how to re-ID the sensors to the ECM or that on Toyotas you have to clone the ID's from the old sensors to the new one. ITE, Mgr comes out offers me $60 off of the $468 and tells me that if I go to this shop in Wahiawa they can fix the problem; and if they charge me, he'll reimburse the cost. WTH?! So I tell him... And if they can't fix it? He asks me to go inside to talk more, does some banging on a computer and a calculator then offers me 20% off of the install; still telling me to go to Wahiawa. I tell him... How about you just charge me cost for the parts and I'll go find somewhere to fix it myself. He agrees, refunds me $60 in labor, I pay $51 per sensor and he refunds the rest. I gave GY an extra star because ITE the staff was courtesous and I still walked away with 4 new sensors at cost. read more

Big thank you to Patrick for looking out for us today at good year! We were a month late on our safety inspection due to a front license plate issue we were having with our car. Coming from a state that doesn't require a front and back license plate we had NO front license plate bracket, holder or anything to mount a license place with. Patrick and his team didn't charge us to put our front license plate on instead of having it zip tied like we did but he went out of his way to try and help us so we could finally get a passing safety inspection !!! If I could write a review without any stars I would. Listen to the reviews! My front tires were balding and I desperately needed to change them. I made an appointment the night before (Saturday) for 10a on Sunday. I walked in at 9a right when they opened hoping to be able to get serviced earlier... I brought my boyfriend with me cause I don't know anything about cars. There were about 2 people with 9a appts in front of me and 1 other person walking in.. the guy asked me about info about my car and the size of the tires and all of that. I told him I didn't know the size of the tires and he just said okay we can figure it all out. My boyfriend and I decided to walk around Ross, go to Starbucks, and eat lunch. That took almost 2 hours to do. We headed back to Goodyear to see that my car wasn't serviced yet. The guy said that they were busy and they still had a bunch of cars to do with appointments. My 10a appointment apparently was not priority because it was a "drop off" appt, although I'm not too sure what that means because to me an appt is still an appt. You could tell he was flustered.. he told us that because he was the only person in the front he didn't have time to get my tire size... BAD COMMUNICATION! we wouldn't have mind checking the size if he just told us and maybe things would have gone by quicker. The person walking in was able to get his truck done before us. Long story short... definitely not pleased with their service!!! Never going back there. read more

I called to schedule a safety check and oil change. Been using Goodyear several years. They gave me a day and time. I dropped off my car early and they said the safety check guy was off and he doesn't take appointments. Not sure why this wasn't mentioned on the phone. Returned in an hour and my car hadn't moved. 2 1/2 hours after my scheduled appointment my oil change was done. No apologies. Terrible service, they don't care. Never visit again. read more

I have to leave a review so others are aware of the easy and friendly service they do provide at this establishment. My tire had to be plugged and was already switched out. The gentleman that helped me was quick with paperwork, asked me to leave my tire by their driveway, and gave me an estimated time to return for my tire. I wasn't able to pick it up myself, but my husband was very impressed as well. He asked them to put the tire back on my car, so they filled up my spare, returned the spare to its dock, and put my original tire back on my car. Did you know they have a special where they plug tires for free? Must've been my lucky day, but I couldn't be more impressed from start to finish. EDIT: I forgot to add that I previously went to another shop who told me to come back in a few hours, and it's still not a guarantee they can help me. Make sure you have copies of your registration, insurance, and safety check documents. I took my car in for an oil change. I had all three documents paperclipped together and watched them put them in the clear folder with the work order. When I went to pick up my car they had lost my safety check document. I had them look for it and they claimed it wasn't in the folder. That same day my wife took her car in for a safety check and gave them all three documents. Needed have an alignment done on my 2011 Acura MDX after replacing shock/struts. I really don't trust shops working on my cars but alignment is something I can't do. I bought the alight package (6alighnments in 3 yeafrom here for this particular car, as it previously had problems staying aligned. Made an appointment for 11. State's it should be done by 12-12:30. I was a bit skeptical as I previously dropped off my car without an appointment and had it most of the day. Called the at 12:30 and car was ready. My steering wheel was centered as it was slightly to one side when going straight. Which I did expect to be corrected even though I told the guy at the counter but did not see him note anything down. My car is equipped with a dash cam. I did see soon after I dropped the car off it went in and was worked on for about 50+ minutes and went out for a test ride to likely verify alignment. They did mention the clunking sound I was hearing that I heard before I replaced the shocks/struts that I was hoping this would fix and said it would be $78 to troubleshoot which sounded reasonable. I will try to look for the problem first and take them up on that offer if I cannot fix it. Seen a lot of poor reviews but my experience was pretty good. read more

Took our 2014 Silverado in for a/c work using our MBI insurance. Tony told us that our a/c hose was bad and recommended to change the condenser but is still good. Well MDI only changes what is broken. So simple just change the hose right.... Well we approve work on the truck to change the hose for a 250.00 deductible. When all is done we found our bill was 731.00. When we asked why Tony said that the condenser and hose was one piece and they couldn't change one without the other Our MDI would only pay for the hose and since the job was already done we were forced to pay the 731.00. Later I made inquiries with other part stores and auto repair shops and found that it wasn't one piece but two separate parts. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES AND THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT AUTOS!! This is the last time I will take my vehicle there. read more

I made an appointment two days ago which they forgot. I was given a price of $35 for an oil change. When my girlfriend took the car in for me they jumped it to $55. They knew the year, model, and miles ahead of time. If I was to make an appointment on the website with the same labor, location, oil, and car it would have been cheaper. How does this make sense?. Also took my car for an oil change, picked up my car and one of their workers ransacked through my glove compartments threw half of my paperwork from it on my floor...what the fuck man?! I had a screw in my tire and air was leaking.I drove from turtle bay to this location.I had to get it repaired as there are no services at north shore n my mini has no spare. I arrived at 4pm and they were busy. I watched sports at the shack across the st.At 6pm the repair was not done and they were closing. I want to thank Patrick,Paul H and Tyson s. Don't waste your time, money, and inner peace coming here. I am never coming back. A year ago I went to their Kapolei location for safety inspection and was told that I need to change my tint and tires. I retint the car ($200) and change tires, return for inspection and the car passes. This year I go to their Mililani location for safety inspection and I'm told I need to retint my car... I explain that I just had it retinted a year ago and it passed the inspection. I won't name names, but the guy told me how I need to find the tint receipt from a year ago and take it up with the tint shop. If goodyear properly checked, I could've done that a year ago with no problem! How can you pass a car that doesn't pass, and not own up to the mistake? Guy refused to acknowledge goodyear made a mistake, instead blamed it on the tint shop, and said there's nothing he can do. The cherry on the top was that as soon as I walked in I said "I know I need new tires and I will get it at Costco." I was offered to replace tires with them THREE more times after that, to which I kept replying "No thank you I will do it at Costco." The guy asked me if I wanted an estimate for tires, once again I said "NO, I'm getting tires at Costco." Whaddya know, 5 seconds later he gives me an estimate anyway and starts going over it. Bottom line: Half-assed, unreliable service. Goodyear's employees are incompetent and pushy, and their mistake is going to cost me extra $200, for which they refuse to take responsibility. read more

Found out at 8:30am my wife's car had a flat tire. Her car has RunFlat tires so we have no spare and they are VERY hard to find on short notice. Called Goodyear Mililani at 8:30Am to see if they had them in stock. Larry told me he can get 2. He'd call me when they came in. Called them at 2:30pm to see if they came in. He said he ordered the wrong tires, not the RunFlats. But he can get them within an hour. So I asked if he could mount them today. Otherwise I need to call another shop to get it done. He said "sure, we can get it done by today". So I drive home from town to pick up the car and drive it to Goodyear Mililani at 4:30pm. Get there, wait 10mins, while I hear them calling other customers saying they'll need to leave their car overnight. Mr Woon calls me over, I tell him I'm here to get the 2 tires mounted. Here are my keys. And whaddayaknow..."can you leave it overnight?" NO! I called you at 8:30am, YOU guys ordered the wrong tires, YOU guys told me you could get it done, so I drove from town to get it done. And now YOU're telling me cannot get it done today?!?! "Well, we'll try our best but cannot guarantee it'll be done today". That's NOT what I asked. Can you get it done today? In the meantime I called Lex Brodie's and asked if they could get it done today. Gave me her name and said to come by and they'll get it taken care of for me. Gave Goodyear one last try and asked if they could get it done and if I can pick up the car today. Again, Mr Woon tells me "Yes, we'll try our best". Told him just ring up the tires and I'll take them to Lex Brodie's. They have ZERO customer service. All they try to do it take as many bookings as they can and collect money. Not once did ANYONE apologize for inconveniencing me. I'm almost positive, he was going to call me after I left to tell me they have my car on the rack and have to keep it til tomorrow. I wasn't going to take any chances, especially when it took 8 hours to get 2 tires delivered from Kapolei. Even though this location might be convenient, DO NOT patronize them. NOT FOR THIS TEAM :D NO I was standing in there for 45minutes waiting for them to "Get the papers to my car" and then when they finally came back I got a "Sorry we are still working on it." I told him straight up that I was given a phone call and told the work on the car was done, and I had been standing around for over half an hour. Now he expects me to wait even longer to get my car back. He acted as if I owed him 10 more minutes, and I quote "Oh come on don't you think we deserve 10 more minutes for all this free time we've given you?" I don't think so, I dropped my car off the DAY BEFORE and all I needed was an oil change and a running diagnostic. To top that all off, as I was waiting for all of this people were coming in for their appointments and being turned away "Sorry we are so busy can we re-schedule it?" Seriously, you have like 6 phones pick one up and CALL these people and tell them not to come in, don't wait till they are standing right infront of you to tell them. i wasted 5 hours of my DAY OFF to get an oil change. I had 2 cars serviced, and I also made AN APPOINTMENT. they stated to another customer oil change would only be 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. and because i made an APPOINTMENT i should only wait 2 hours at the most because i brought in 2 cars. I walked in and waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. and 30 minutes for "paul" to take my information down. I had great service at another good year but i didnt want to travel out today(on my day off) so i chose to go to one near me. these guys did a half ass job on my car inspection, and did a horrible job on my tire rotation. AND to make matters worse, theres oil smudge all over my engine cover... and THE OIL LOOKS LIKE IT WASNT EVEN DRAINED. and thats just the FIRST CAR. 2nd car they didnt start till almost 245 pm and I was there since 10 am. I called and the guy said my truck would be "cherry at 3" well, i got there and NO it wasnt cherry, it was JUST Being lifted up for an oil change. so one of the guys checked it out for me and he said it shoud be quick. i didnt get NO 38 Point inspection, NO TIRE ROTATION, and NO ALIGNMENT CHECK. i requested all three. my truck ONLY TOOK 20 minutes..... and it was done, But my first car took 3 hours???? and i had to chill in mililani shopping center the whole time. called the store when i got home, the service manager was an asshole telling me I WAS WRONG. and if i wanted him to DOUBLE CHECK i should stop by tomorrow after 7. Let me start by saying that up until this past weekend I've had decent service with this location but boy did that all go to sh.. after this last visit! I took my car in on Saturday for a regular oil change and free 29-point check. A few hours later I picked it up and drove it home [less than a mile away]. Seemed ok. Later that evening I got in the car to drive it and the darn thing wouldn't start! It was making a horrible grinding noise and the lights were flickering. Eventually it started and I drove it to the mililani shopping center right next to the Goodyear. After that it wouldn't start again. I had to leave it there and wait until morning to call goodyear. Sunday morning I call and I was on hold for ELEVEN minutes so I said forget it I'll stop by in person. After waiting another 15 minutes the guy Woon finally got to me and I explained what was happening and showed him a video I recorded of the noise and flickering. He said I would need to tow my car...it's less than 100 yards away wtf!!! So I cancelled the tow, walked over to my car and prayed and prayed and my car started. Once it turned on I drove it right up to the door at goodyear for him to look at it. He said it must be the battery and I must have left my lights on. BS! I drove it home in the daylight and I would have noticed if my lights were on when I left that evening. But he insisted that I left my lights on and it was my fault! He was so rude and condescending. I have a receipt that says they tested my battery and everything checkout out fine but it's a lie, I opened the good and the battery was corroded and jacked up. If they checked they would have recommended a new battery or a cleaning at least! Jeeze! So Woon went to clean my battery and spray some acid eater on it then he says "The key isn't in the ignition right?" I replied no they were in my purse(duh). Then he took my keys and said "I'll just hang on to them I don't want to be killed." WOW. He said they normally charge $10 for a cleaning and I told him I wouldn't pay for it then he continued to insist that I left my lights on. I left pissed off and felt that he was talking down to me. He was a rude, sexist employee. Work on your manners and honesty, get some soap for your bathroom, and clean up your act! AND STOP CALLING ME I CANCELLED THE TOW TRUCK. Dang!! read more

I've been taking my car here for an oil change/safety inspection since I moved here and always waited about 2-3 hours every time with or without an scheduled appointment. I don't like that they charge an extra fee for checking car tint that already has it on my car window. I'm rating Goodyear Mililani a 1 star because they passed my recent safety inspection with having 1 really BAD tire! Really unsafe! Luckily I noticed it & immediately ordered a new tire right away! I'm questioning if safety is their main priority for customers or money is! I'll be going elsewhere for an oil change/safety inspection next time even though they are just minutes away. read more

Made the first appointment to minimize backlog but my vehicle is still in the lot waiting. I was in line with ppl who didn't have an appointment and they're done!! They came in after me!! I've been the "next one" for about an hour. Absolutely no coordination, accountability or desire to service customers. I'm still sitting in the lobby hearing how they communicate... terrible. zero stars. over the phone, said it would take 1.5 hours to replace two front tires. At the shop on check in, asked again, and they confirmed 1.5 hours. 2 hours later, car still not touched. Went to find out how much longer...they said, will get on it right away...stood outside for another 30 minutes...no action...others getting serviced before me!!!!! went back to get my keys back and left 2 hours and 45 minutes of a wasted day off. had to give one star..was trying to leave it at zero stars. much much too high a rating for this crummy business! read more

I've been here an hour and 50 minutes waiting for an oil change and I had an appt that I scheduled online. There were 3 people in front of me. One had an oil change and safety check, one had a brake job, not sure about the other one. The first car just finished. The guys from the back brought out paperwork for cars that are done and the two people out front are more interested in finishing their personal conversation than getting people out. I was told it would take an hour or hour & a half. I'm going to be late for another appointment. I will never come here again. I could have gone to the store, bought oil and filter, and changed my own oil faster. I don't see the point of giving out appts online and then having multiple people with the same appt time.
