I'm sure they're busy and that's fine, but if I set an appointment for 1200 I expect to at least have my car looked at, at 1230 at the latest.. my car didn't get looked at until 2:30pm. Goodyear needs to change their manager. Poor attitude. I took my car in for symptom and what I think it was. When I returned to pick up car, I asked if they diagnosed the problem. He said No, just fixed what I suspect. Did not even check on any possibilities. As a result, I was charged on the high end. Even though I live right around the block from Goodyear, I'll take my car to Wahiawa or Waipio. It's sad that Goodyear is the only car device in Mililani. I came here for on a weekend with an appointment because I had that coupon for 19.95 oil change. I was one of the first appts and they said that it would take about an hour. Next thing you know, it's creeping up to 2 hours. For an oil change, this is ridiculous. What's worst was, as I sat there waiting, each customer that came in kept asking for approximate completion time, and I would over hear the manager quoting them 45 mins to 1 hr wait times when I know for a fact it ain't gonna happen! I want to start off by saying that I work in a customer oriented field and although the people here are friendly; their customer service sucks. I had a scheduled appointment and I was quoted a 1 hour turn around time. I understand that things happen; apparently they only had one person working in their bay. I also told them that I would be waiting, had I known that it was gonna be 2+ hours, I would have just left and done something. I had taken my car there last year for a new alternator and it messes up again its only been 9 months. This used to be my place for all automobile maintenance while I was living in Mililani. I always felt that this place was pretty dang slow, even with an appointment. Luckily my house was only a mile away, making it easy to walk home after dropping the car off. Then they redeemed themselves. Here I was early Sunday morning driving to 24 hour fitness when I turn the corner, hit the curb and POP there goes my tire. I pull into a nearby space while an employee approaches me and asks if they can help. "Sure!" I say, "I may be dense, but I'm pretty sure it's the tire" in my annoyed sarcastic voice. Maybe they weren't busy, but he started looking at it right away. On a Sunday morning as one of the few shops open on Sunday, I was surprised. Without an appointment, they told me it would take 60-90 minutes. Since I was heading to the gym anyway, I knew I would take 90 minutes. They were done in 40! Since the tire was goodyear, I paid the $14 coverage, and this time around I only had to pay for the new tire, no labor charge. They were extremely helpful during my time of shame and need. Their manager, I think his name was Richard?, goes above and beyond to help. If you live in the area, befriend him. He wil make sure you are taken care of. read more

Goodyear in Mililani is the worst. Despite being a long-time 35 year customer at multiple Hawaii locations and purchasing over 20 truck and passenger tires, customer service is terrible. Rude, abrupt, sloppy and impatient. I purchased the alignment package but after making an appointment many weeks in advance they tell me when I arrive that the alignment guy called in sick. I then schedule again and when I arrive for my new appointment the male service individual informs me that they "probably can't get to it and would I be OK with leaving it over the 3 day weekend"? What's the point in making an appointment and purchasing an alignment package if I can't even get them to do it? Some service advisors will also tell you "just bring it in, no need appointment" then when you arrive they'll tell you they can't help you and you should have made an appointment. On my last oil change, the service tech let residual oil leak all over the engine chassis and didn't even bother to clean it up after being so careless with the change. AUWE ... read more

Great service! Because I own a classic POS, I was a regular at this location, every other month I was taking my putt putt in to get fixed, so I've been assisted by all the staff, at one point or another. The guys are friendly and have saved me a ton of money in the long run. Sadly they fixed my POS so well that I haven't seen them in a few months. Lol. He asks if I had an appt. No, I didn't but as I walked up after 2 hrs, why were 6 of you standing outside looking at some drama on the street????!!!! They start on it & I wait more than an hour more! My wife took her car there over a month ago, they told her that her headlamps were out of regulation, and it would cost almost 200$ to replace. We ordered the headlamps for 20 dollars, and installed them ourselves. We went back today to get a safety check early in the morning. I get home from work at 3pm, and she still hasn't received the car back for a SAFETY CHECK! I end up calling and having to stay on hold for over 20 minutes before they tell me "oh yeah, it was done at 1130, you failed for tint and the licence plate light" My wife never received a call, and i double checked to make sure they had the correct number. Secondly, why are we only NOW hearing about the tint and the light on the plate, when it wasnt an issue before, and we never changed either of those items?! Then when she goes to pay, they hand her the wrong keys, make her pay for someone elses safety check and when she tells them that the keys are not for her car, they almost didn't believe her. When she asked why she is only now hearing about the light and tint they said "well, you got away with it last time, this time you wont" I highly encourage anyone to avoid this place at all costs, they treat women poorly, and they only talked to me today, they kept putting my wife on hold over and over when she was able to speak with a representative. This Goodyear Tire & Service shop is terrible. First I made an appointment to get 4 new tires installed at noon. I was called the day prior and told they don't have the tires I wanted, which were not an unusual size, so I chose a different brand at a discount, then I was asked to come in an hour later. I figured no big deal, my truck is 4 years old, but that doesn't matter. Three hours later they finally pull my truck in the bay and it has taken an hour to do 2 tires. No call to update me or apologize that it is taking ridiculously long to change 4 tires. I chose here because it was close to where I live, but if I could have gotten my tires done on time, I would have drive ten times as far. Terrible customer service. I would never recommend them to any one. read more

As a resident of Mililani, I've been here several times for general maintenance to my vehicles and have had no complaints. If I need something done like my car serviced, I'll normally come by on my day off, Sunday. I usually get the same guy working on my vehicles, he even did my safety checks a few times. He must work there most Sundays. They always seemed very accommodating and I've never had much of a wait. I've had a tire with a nail stuck in it fixed in about 10 minutes, I've had safety inspections done and I've also gotten my car serviced here a few times. If it seems pretty crowded I'll either grab a bite to eat or stop by the Mill or the Shack to have a quick drink. I'll usually get a call shortly after saying my car is finished. Each time I've been to Good Year, it was quick, accommodating and convenient. Hopefully that same short little guy keeps working there every Sunday. read more

Ok. So, I've written a couple of 1-star reviews because of really bad experiences. My experience with Goodyear started bad but finished well, so, to be fair, I thought I should write a good review. I own and Jeep Wrangler and had Goodyear put 4 tires on it. When I returned to have the tires balanced and rotated the Jeep developed a very bad imbalance wobble at 45mph. I took it back 3 times and they couldn't fix it. So, finally I asked them if they could contact someone at Goodyear, like an mechanical advisor or something. When I took it back the 4th time they decided to change a steering stabilizer bar. Brandy took the bull by the horns and told me to drive the Jeep for a while to see if the problem abated. Well, that fix just about eliminated the problem and they didn't charge me for installation labor. I'm sorry it took so long to finally find the fix, but they made good and I'm ultimately happy. This used to be the place to go to back in the day. 2 weeks ago in had a nail taken out my tire and had them install a new one and they put on the wrong size tire. Seriously, how do you mess that up? The best they could do was tell me (as if doing me a favor) that they will give me the correct size tire as the same price after I've been driving for 2 weeks unknowingly on a mismatched set of tires. This is the second time Goodyear tried to cheat me. The first was when I took my car to get a safety check. Had been going to them for years with the same car. Then suddenly they fail me cause the wiper spray didn't work?! It never did and they always passed it. Now suddenly it can't pass? Then in a bind I took my tire in to patch a flat. They told me it was not in a patchable area. Collected my tire and went to another shop who patched it in 10 minutes with no issues. The whole company is a rip off. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be ripped off. Took my car here to drop my rear passenger tire off to see if they could patch it and left with my spare on. Got a call a little while later saying that the tire was unfixable and I would need to buy a new one. I came in a couple days later to purchase a new tire and they replaced my spare with it. It cost me $137 for 1 tire and a couple hours of my day, only to have them call me 1 week later saying my tire that I had initially dropped off there was actually FIXED! Obviously I was upset that they had made me purchase a new tire for no reason. However the only reason I am writing this review is because I got horrible customer service when I tried to call and get things cleared up. They are definitely in it only for the money and do not care about the good general well being of people. read more

My wife has been taking her car for some time now and they have given her great service. Recently had a slow leak in a tire due to a nail in the tire. The staff at Goodyear took it in repaired it within an hour and waived the charge as it was a minor service. We will definitely recommend for their awesome service. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. Every experience at this Goodyear has been awful. Customer service is easily the worst I've ever experienced. The staff is very unfriendly and talked down to me like I was incompetent. I took my car for an oil change, after about an hour and a half I get I call and the man on the phone says "it looks like it's about time to get a new battery for your car. Would you like us to put a new one in while we have it open?" I said "no, not at this time. Thank you". I get a call an hour later that my car is ready for pick up. I hop in my car to drive off and my car conveniently won't start. Mind you, I've never had any indications prior that my battery was going bad. Never had any issues prior starting my car. I go back inside and the gentleman at the desk basically laughed in my face and says "well I told you you needed a new battery". Needless to say I was irritated at this point. The man jumps my car and as I drive off, my engine light it on. Like the battery, I've never had any issues prior to this trip to get my oil changed. I go back to the service desk and ask the man why my engine light is suddenly on. The man throws his hands up and says "well if you got a new battery, maybe your engine light wouldn't be on" and proceeded to chuckle at my expense. At this point I give up, and leave to go home. My thoughts are: why on earth would I pay them $450 (that's what I was quoted for a new battery and labor) when I can go to the store, purchase a new battery for around $140 and have someone I know and trust swap it out for me. These guys at Goodyear on Kuahelani made it very evident that they think they can rip people off. They will never have my family's business ever again. read more

Not sure why they have such a bad rating. I've come here twice before (to purchase/change out my tires) with no issues. Can't really remember what transpired the first time since it was a while ago, but I know that there were no problems. My most recent visit, I made an appointment the day before (on a Saturday for a Sunday). I dropped off my car and was told it would take approximately 2 hours, so I had my dad pick me up. Only an hour later, I got a call that it was done...super fast service! Also, while walking out, the guy reminded me to go to the web-site so I could get my $60 rebate on the tires.
