Pretty much the same as the other reviews, terrible customer service, not to mention negligent. I came in for a wheel alignment, 2 weeks later one of my tires completely came apart at the seams while I was driving. I called Goodyear & asked why they had not told me my tire was in such poor condition when I was at their shop. The mechanics claim they told me. Of course they're going to lie to cover themselves. Why on earth would I have left the shop knowing I had a tire that was unsafe to drive on? The manager would not reimburse me for the tire I had to replace or anything. Not all staff are able to provide adequate customer service. I caught a flat w/hazards protection booked an appointment 2days later.To wait 3 hours for 1 tire and still be told on the 3rd hour you have another hour because they have to go get a tire. Your customers do have jobs and have to take off a half a day just to get one tire is not acceptable. I was not informed of this and many future customers should be aware. The cleanliness was not acceptable as well, ants was present all over the coffee stand with no reassurance for the customer. I will not be coming back to this place, but will try another location next time. read more

Bad customer service . Came to change one tire which my warranty was covered under . They told me they couldn't fix my tire without getting a sensor replaced , which i now know that is false. After 3 times taking my car their after advertisements for Free A/C Checks or Free Fall alignment specials.. I'm done. Check my record 3 times I've gone their and they had my car all day them come up with an excuse of why it can't be serviced. Last year they tried to charge me nearly 800 buck for my AC when it was JUST a fuse, they had my car another time and claimed they couldn't give me the oil change deal because they couldn't unplug the bolt. I took it to Aamco the following week w/o incident. Today after keeping my car from 9am to something to 4pm.. they call to say they can't check my alignment because they can't find the wheel lock!. As sure as my name is Monique.i know I put the key lock on a felt black bag for them to use. I checked it myself. I can confidently say someone STOLE my VW key lock. Maybe that person has other rims to steal. If they steal this what else of yours is missing? I dont care about the disclosure "we are not responsible for loss or stolen items" ..yes the hell they are! I hold them 100% responsible. read more

I came to replace a flat tire. It's 40 to just replace a tire. I have tires that are very slightly used. They wouldn't use them. They wouldn't fix my flat. I wasted an hour waiting for them to literally do nothing except try to sell me a tire when I already have tires. What a piece of shit company. read more

Looking at some of the past reviews I have to say these guys must have hired some new people, because they gave me the best service I can imagine, and at a a really good price. Took 3 hours to change 1 tire. Didn't honor a Goodyear warranty making my local Goodyear have to refund me. Avoid this place like the plague. I asked to keep my destroyed tire so I could go to a competent Goodyear and get it refunded. The manager then had the audacity to call me and give me attitude because they gave me the wrong tire. No apology or anything just "you need to return that tire we gave you". The manager there is without a doubt the worst. The mechanic actually had to be the one to apologize. So in short I'd rather drive on rims and broken glass to another location than the Goodyear in Oxen Hill. read more

I had a horrible experience here. I been coming to them as of late about anything concerning my car but today I feel like it has been a complete change of staff since the last time I was here. I went to have my starter replaced and was there for 4 hours even though I was the second person there at 8 am. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I also was going to be charged an extra 25 dollars if I didn't ask about it. As I look at my bill I feel I was further ripped off. They also said I needed a new battery afterwards and they could replace it for another 135 dollars will another 75 dollar an hour for labor. I told them just change the starter and that's it! I went to the local auto store and brought a 85 dollar battery and had my brother install it. Either learn how to do things yourself or go somewhere else!!! read more

This place is insanely over priced. The manager (Ann) has the worst attitude that I have ever seen in a person that is supposed to provide customer service. I had some brake work done here and had to return because my brakes seemed worse than before I brought it here. I will never allow this or any Good Year to lay a hand on my vehicle again. Standard Goodyear quality. I've always had good experiences at Goodyear Service Centers, and this one was no different. It's a nice, bright place with friendly staff. The small staff seems to become harried at times when guests pile up and the phone keeps ringing, but the staff members are patient and seem to get everything done with honest smiles on their faces. Two waiting areas are on one side of the main shop; one area is closer to the tv and coffee, while the other area is in the slightly brighter area near the main display of tires. I've only had tires replaced here, and while that experience was smooth I can't really speak to the full quality of the mechanics; that said, based on the friendly experience, I'll consider returning here for other car issues. read more

They did good job. I went in for a tire replacement and wheel alignment. The alignment appears to have worked well. I may be a stickler but I'm a little disappointed that the tire pressures between each tire were off by as much as 2 to 3 psi. I'd go here again to get my tires replaced since the goodyear tires that came with my vehicle lasted 60,000 miles which is great for stock tires and their tires are priced similar to their competition. I did feel that their labor was a bit expensive tough but figured that it was worth the cost. read more

I will never go to Good Year again!! I went in to have a routine oil change which was 45 dollars. I had an appointment for 3pm, came 15 minutes early and was there for 3 hours. Less than a week later my check engine light was on and my car starts making all kinds of noises. There was nothing wrong with my engine before I brought my car in now there's something wrong?? I take my car back and they say I have fuel codes and that I should take it to the dealer. I am convinced GOOD YEAR did something to my car the 3 hours that I was waiting for my car. They were also supposed to rotate my tires. I know for a fact that they didn't do it. I had a slow leak in one of the tires. When I checked it, it was still in the same place. My car is worst than when I started. DO NOT GO TO GOOD YEAR!! Take your car to Pep Boys. You will get what you pay for. If they wanna fix this review, fix what you broke on my car!! read more

I set up an appointment online for Sunday June 28, 2015 at noon for four new tires. Had my boyfriend to drop off my truck that Sunday, but he was told that the tires I want wasn't there but at the warehouse. Don't know why the tires wasn't there because I set up the appointment a couple of days prior. They told him that they could get the tires there the next day for me, so I told them I would be there that Tuesday June 30th. So, while I was at work that Monday, I called them to see if the tires was there but they wasn't there. I was told that they should be there on Tuesday and someone would call me when they arrive. It is a week later and still no phone call but I have my tires from a place with better business practice NTB. I'm in customer service industry but never treated people like this, so take your money somewhere else. It was hard for me to give this place a one star but I had to. read more

I am beyond pleased with my experience with this Goodyear. A couple days ago I had two tires go flat during rush hour (about 5 pm) on 395 on my way out of DC. After calling three places who wouldn't or couldn't offer any help until tomorrow, I got in touch with Lonnell at this Goodyear location. I told him I couldn't get my two wheels there until 6 pm (an hour before they closed), but asked if there's anyway he'd be able to fit me in and get new tires on them "tonight." He sympathized with my situation and said he'd take care of it. By the time I arrived it was 6:20. He brought another employee over to get the tires who didn't seem to show any discontent about how late it was. I will never forget this, Lonnell not only showed me where the bathroom was so I could wash my filthy hands, he then offered and subsequently unbuttoned the cuffs on my sleeves so I wouldn't get my suit shirt wet/dirty. I don't know if Goodyear trains its employees to do this, but either way -- I've never been more impressed with any customer service -- ever. The prices for the tires/service were consistent with other places I'd called, and the facilities seemed fine. To summarize the experience, at one point Lonnell said, "This is what we do, if we can't take care of you in this situation, then we shouldn't be in business." I have had several experiences (auto repairs) with this particular Goodyear Auto Service Center, Oxon Hill, MD. Each time, I have received excellent customer services as well as auto repairs. All repairs performed at this location has been done in an expeditious, complete and satisfying manner. As a female, I appreciate the staffs' honesty, professionalism and respect towards me, unlike some other Auto Service Centers, a few of which were Goodyear Centers, but different locations, which had tried to take advantage of me, assuming I didn't know better because I am female. Although, all the staff is polite, and professional, I want to especially credit Troy for his outstanding telephone and customer service professionalism rendered.
