I have been going to Goody's with my family for basically my whole life. The service is always quick, they all serve with a smile, and make sure you're taken care of. My favorites are the chicken caesar salad or just a hamburger, every time they are very enjoyable. Best breakfast burritos. HOWEVER, I am appalled by the lack of awareness going on at Goody's right now. I understand that restaurants are going through hard times at the moment and that outdoor dining could be crucial. I also understand that people should stay 6ft apart per Covid19 regulations - which is exactly what wasn't happening at Goody's outdoor dining. On top of that, when I went to pick up my food, I noticed one chef with his mask only covering his mouth and not his nose. If people didn't breathe through their noses as well as their mouths, this wouldn't be an issue. But, basic medical information tells us that people breath through both their noses and mouths! Due to Covid19 being a respiratory disease, having someone else breathing on my food during a pandemic is very concerning to say the least. After I picked up my food, I promptly threw it out as it could have been contaminated. 18 dollars down the drain. I will gladly go back to Goody's when they start taking this pandemic seriously. read more

This morning, my daughter and I wanted breakfast and didn't want to drive far, so we decided on Goody's as it's practically behind our apartment complex. I ordered the B breakfast and my daughter wanted chicken fried steak breakfast, with a side of 2 pancakes. So we called to place the take out and the person on the phone was charming, very pleasant and seemed full of joy. It really was a pleasure to talk with her. Anyway, my daughter picked up our breakfast and we knew we were in for a treat. The portions are wow, huge, and boy was the food delicious and yes, we made a little dent and we tried, but couldn't finish it. Actually, we had so much food leftover that we have a second breakfast going for later or tomorrow. Goody's on Washington never disappoint and naturally we'll be back for more, probably next weekend! The food at goody's has always been good in the past and I've been going for many years. Even before they had so many locations. After my last several visits to any location I've noticed the poor customer service in some locations and well my complaint as a repeat customer is the portions have decreased drastically and like everything in life the prices go up. Honestly I think that was the best thing about this place, it used to be that whatever you ordered it was a huge portion at a decent price. My fav was the breakfast burritos, they were big enough to share and the salsa was a delicious must with it. But now they are a lot smaller and cost $7.50 and some locations or maybe it's how cashiers feel, but if you ask for more salsa they charge you. I hate feeling like I annoyed an employee somewhere for doing their job. Unfortunately after today's dissatisfying order I will choose elsewhere next time. Too much money for what they are giving you. I'm not trying to bash the food, although I've read several low rated reviews. The service is a hit or miss, although there is a girl who has worked at this location and just looks miserable after all these years. Goody's is not so good :( Did you see that coming? Typically, places that have "good" in their name jinx themselves haha! Well, you didn't see this coming - even though Goody's is in the desert they have POOR AC :( UGH! They have several apparently futile ceiling fans. It was warm in here. Nasty warm. There were flies too. If you are not a "Desert Rat" you will dislike it here very much. They get packed. Even though they were packed we got our food soon. According to my friend CHIVAmiga they get really badly packed sometimes. Service here is not bad at all and the waitresses are friendly. You order at a counter and get a number a la Carl's Jr. They have a large breakfast menu but they do not have my beloved Eggs Florentine here :( I had to settle for a Feta Spinach Mushroom Omelette. It was actually OK. The spinach was not too soggy or overcooked. There was not enough feta cheese as you might have guessed. Their sourdough toast doesn't taste like sourdough. What was really gross was the OJ. They give you a small OJ in a plastic bottle with a plastic cup. It tastes BAD - like OJ punch. Honestly, that ticked me off. OJ is expensive and paying more for an OJ that I could have gotten at an AM/PM is just lame. Just under $12 in total. Why is a SIMPLE breakfast so expensive everywhere? Let me start by saying that I am all for a cheap dive. That being said, this is a disappointment. Pull into a dirty parking lot, walk past the homeless guys outside the door and enter the not so clean restaurant. This is an order at the counter type of place offering burgers, hot dogs, mexican food and some greek fare. There is no defined kid's menu which can be a problem if you have toddlers. My child has developed quite the adult palate at the tender age of 6 so she can find something interesting on any menu (thank goodness!) I keep hoping that it will go back to the way it used to be. The owner needs to watch restaurant rescue. They are killing themselves. The food at this location is usually better than the one on country club. Here are a few observations from the last visit. A big sign greets you at the register stating that there is an extra $0.60 charge for dressing. I don't know if that means dressing is extra if you order a salad or only if you want a side of dressing. Either way it's way tacky. If I had a customer that wanted dressing for whatever reason, I'd give it to them. It can't possibly be breaking the bank. If they spend as much on dressing as they do on syrup, it can't be that much at all. The syrup they use is disgusting. It's not the non-descript flavor, it's the disgusting texture. It turns any good breakfast item they have unappealing. The syrup has the consistency of phlegm. Totally gross. Another thing they can do is to not mop the floor while you are eating. That super strong Mr.Clean mixture ruins your meal. I'm glad they keep things clean but they could use a different cleaner during business hours and use the Mr. Clean for after hours. read more

A menu board with nine million combinations of breakfast foods, my recommendation is to know what you have in mind before going...you will be dumbfounded by the awesomeness. It is my first time here in the Palm Springs area, a friend recommended me to try this restaurant, I saw on the menu they have gyro (which I haven't had it in a long time). I ordered the pita bread gyro sandwich and I loved it, the serving size it's pretty good for one person. Great Customer service it's something that I look forward in a restaurant or any public place. Stopped in on our way out of La Quinta. After nights of pigging out on room service, eggs Benedict and Steak and Crab from LGs I needed something a little lighter. I ordered Plate D I think? 2 scrambled eggs with cottage cheese and tomatoes and sourdough toast. It was pretty busy inside but food still came quick. Everything was great. Just what I needed. Goody's is good, but that's it though. I have had the gyro and French dip. Both were good but nothing too exciting. The French dip was a little plain and dry for my liking. The Au Ju was too salty, it was an odd combo. The gyro is not too bad it's a little sloppy and since it is tough to find a decent one during summer, this one will do just fine. Interested in giving their breakfast burrito a try, so that may be my next choice. read more
