My favorite place currently. It's never packed, the food is served quickly and it's always fresh. Best part is the consistency in quality! The waitressing ladies are always so sweet too, I had to review this place. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Price is also great considering I know my food is ALWAYS amazing. I miss diners like this.

I came to eat with family this restaurant. The food is really excellent. The only thing problem that I had was when I asked for ranch I was charged for ranch and I spent over $50 here and I noticed that other customers were not charged for rent so I gotta give you guys a three out of five I was gonna give you guys a five cause the food was amazing but then the whole ranch thing just the way the economy is going right now. I think that it's not right that you charge for ranch but this is my opinion.

Great local American diner with a nostalgic feel. Not only do they have American breakfast, lunch and diner, they have a Mexican menu with a variety of meals. Food is good! it is of a diner style. Prices reasonable services is quick and friendly. Walk up, ordering a meal., pay, get your own coffee and find your own seat. You get a number and they bring your food.. It is quick simple and efficient. expect to wait if you're going during a heavy breakfast times. Prices are reasonable.

I've only been 2x. But Ive been 2x in 1 week Imo, the food in this town has no Flavor or Soul. Im a vegetarian. Im from NY. I love a good diner. This is it‼ Fast paced, good solid food. Nothing fancy. Just feed me! I was very surprised. Ive only had the #18 Vegetarian omelette minus the mushrooms, add Feta. Its delicious yall! My only complaint is literally in the 8 days between my 2 visits, they have increased their prices. Today my bill was the same. $30 for 2 meals. But on our first visit, we had drinks‍ This visit, we did not. The bill was only $0.29 less.... The math aint Mathin'. But when I checked both my receipts I noticed a substantial increase in the menu prices. This Economy Suckssss... but this Food, Does Not

We started out with the Drunken Tots. Wonderful! For dinner, I ordered the Turkey burger, and my husband and grandson each ordered the Bistro Burger. The burgers were loaded with all kinds of yummy toppings and we all enjoyed each bite. Meals are served with fries and a pickle. Perfect! Although we were stuffed, we split the Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding for dessert. It was topped with a salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. So good! The food was good overall and definitely satisfied the burger craving. The experience, however, was a little mixed. The service felt a bit awkward at times, and a few interactions with the staff just rubbed me the wrong way. Nothing major, just an odd vibe. The location itself could have been a little cleaner and more polished. I also noticed the Guy Fieri feature on the wall--which is cool--but at the end of the day, the food and experience still have to speak for themselves. Overall, the burger was good, but the service and atmosphere left some room for improvement.

Already from outside we could see the place was filled with diners and the entry was crowded. As we entered, we were told to stand by the side to be seated. We were seated within few minutes but getting a server to come to our table to take order took a long time. Eventually, our server came and apologized for the delay. He immediately took our order and brought water and bread. The server replenished the bread as we waited for our food. Eventually food arrived. The server checked in multiple times asking how the food was and if we needed anything further. The server was very nice and courteous. He even spent time joking with my kids. He made up for being late in the beginning. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Only thing missing was the onions and mushroom which were ordered to be put on the side. We never received it, no big deal. The price was affordable and food was filling. The atmosphere reminded me of Phil's BBQ in San Diego. Too bad neither Phil's nor Texas Roadhouse are in my area.

THE AMBIANCE: Amazing hidden gem in the desert! This…read morerestaurant is located inside La Quinta Resort & Club, and the experience feels special from the moment you walk through the historic, tall arched wooden doors. The entrance lead you down a hallway toward the hostess stand, with couches, a bar and a piano being played to the left. To the right , you enter the main dining room. The space felt open, elegant, and immediately welcoming. Talk about fine dining at its best. The hostess was able to quickly seat our party of six, and our server immediately brought over the menus and filled our water glasses. THE FOOD: We started with the oysters , and they did not disappoint. They were served with a shallot mignonette which was vinegary in all the right ways. They were so good, that we ended up ordering a second round. For dinner, we all ordered the steak with mushrooms and broccoli. The steak was perfectly cooked, and every bite was bursting with flavor. Even the mushrooms and broccoli stood out. Everything was seasoned beautifully without overpowering the actual flavors of the vegetables. Even the bread was so good. It was served with three different butters. And dessert? Also top notch. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner with friends. THE SERVICE: The service really added to the experience. Our server was attentive and took great care of us. The GM, Ray, also stopped by our table, and we ended up chatting and joking with him a bit. He was incredibly friendly and personable and made sure we were having a great experience. Between the setting, the food, the genuinely attentive service, this as one of those dinners where it all felt elevated. Definitely one of the many highlights of our stay at La Quinta Resort.

Morgan's in the Desert: Disappointment After Disappointment. $400 for Meh…read more After living in La Quinta for four years, we were ready to try Morgan's, as it's one of the last foodie restaurants in the Coachella valley that we haven't tried. We arrived early for our reservation, excited to grab a drink at the bar before dinner. Then we were told our table was already available... only to be seated at a dining table in the bar, off to the side, where apparently servers do not exist while staring at the back of the pianist and the barflies. The two bartenders were fantastic--especially Brian, who was working at warp speed--but they already had a packed bar to manage. Adding dining tables to their workload was clearly not realistic. Why were we seated there? Still a mystery. Reservation problems: I booked through the QR code advertised in The Gem for the August prix fixe dinners at La Quinta Resort's restaurants. When we arrived, we were told the prix fixe menu wasn't available that day. Sorry! So we ordered bread and oysters instead. About 15-20 minutes later, the manager came over and said they would honor the prix fixe after all. Great! Except... we'd already ordered appetizers. ‍ And wow, was it SLOW. We were seated at 5:30 and still didn't have our entrées at 7:00. Drinks regularly sat empty, and once the restaurant got busy around 6:30, water refills disappeared completely. Did I mention it was 110 degrees outside? The food? A mixed bag--but overall, wildly overpriced and underwhelming. * Oysters: Ice-cold and served with a good mignonette. Also pricey. * Bread: Fresh and warm, but the olive tapenade was aggressively salty. Again, overpriced. * Watermelon salad: The winner! Refreshing, flavorful, and the spicy nuts gave it a nice kick. Highly recommend. * Chicken cacciatore: Dry chicken, undercooked tomatoes, overcooked pasta. Never again. * Oscar filet: Delicious and well-prepared, but nothing memorable or special--especially for the price. Bottom line: We spent about $400 for a frustrating, painfully slow, mostly mediocre meal. There are too many great restaurants in the area to spend that kind of money on "meh." We won't be back.

Just an honest review here…read more. Saw this place on an IG reel and didn't even knew it existed, so thought I'd check it out. The location is actually two restaurants that operate in one building. When I got inside, the place was absolutely dead. No customers at all. That's always a sign... Cement and brick walls with nothing but a quote from Biggie on one wall and a picture of Guy Fieri on another THATS IT Took 20 min to get our food and when we did, we were VERY disappointed Portions are ridiculously small for what you pay (3-4 bite smash burger = $11) and the food wasn't anything special at all. Dropped $50 on 2 tiny burgers, 1 fry (tiny, $10 and blah) and 2 drinks Left hungry, but not enough to shell out another $50 Staff was polite, but SLOW Double the sizes or cut the prices in 1/2 and you've got something going on, but until then... I don't typically leave negative reviews because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt,…read morebut I'm TIRED of BAD service. So if you know about this place, you have to place your order outside of a window. In 100+ degree weather it gets HOT!! and FAST!!! Well, we were left outside in direct heat waiting for the cashier to come out and greet us, this was myself, my elderly 75 year-old mother (as seen in the video) as well as my 14-year-old Nephew. You have to push a doorbell type button to gain the staff's attention, totally cool with that, but when you leave people waiting in 100+ degree weather for 5 to 10 minutes with no shade and no misting system, that could become a problem. So the cashier finally comes out this morning and she greets me and she says it'll just be a couple more minutes before I come out to take your order. I said OK, that's fine, but can you please call me to the window? I said because it's extremely hot and I'm sweating and I don't wanna wait in direct sunlight. She said absolutely, that's not a problem. So she goes back to do whatever she goes to do. About four minutes later she proceeds to give an order to another customer that was waiting in the heat as well, then she calls me to the window. I get to the window and someone proceeds to gain her attention inside of the kitchen, so rather than ask me to hold or tell me that she just needed a minute, she proceeded to slam the window in my face and goes to talk to her coworker about who knows what. What she should've done was told her coworker, hey, I'm with a customer right now, let me get back to you as soon as I take his order, but she didn't do that. She proceeded to make her coworker her priority, not the person that was going to place a $100 order for a group of people celebrating Mother's Day. So she gets back to the window and I proceeded to tell her off. I told her exactly how I feel because at this point I think service in this country has gotten bad with this new generation. She looked like she was in her early 20s, I myself for context am not. So she says I'm ready to take your order and I said, you really just slammed the door in my face, didn't you? She was just stunned that I said something, that I actually had a voice. I said no, I'm not gonna place an order with you, you lost an order because you left me out here in 100+ degree weather. I said I should've been the priority, and I was a little upset because I did drop a couple F bombs (which I regret) but only because I was hot and I was sweating and I was frustrated and I was just angry that this new generation has no concept on how to treat paying customers, especially rational customers, with better service. Now they weren't slammed, aside from the other customer that got to receive his order, no one else was waiting for an order, so it's not like she was super busy. That's what really bothers me, I should've been the priority with my family, but yet she chose to leave us in the heat. I told her, if the roles were reversed and you were outside here waiting in this heat and I was taking your order and I did that to you, you would be extremely upset. She was puzzled and didn't say much. I think she was just stunned that I said something, but I wanted it to be known that whoever is the owner of this place needs to have a serious talk with their employees about proper protocol when waiting to place or receive an order in 100° weather with absolutely no shade or water misters. I really think you guys need to do better. My family and I walked away and proceeded to go grab iced coffee at Everbloom Coffee across the street where we were treated like kings and queens. You don't leave an elderly woman waiting in 100° weather, they could die of heat stroke, DO BETTER, Papa Head!
