Small and cozy location with warm service at the counter. Had the lunch special which was supposedly Thai spicy and it was not at all. It's decent and great value for money but taste was just ok. No char from the wok type flavor and kind of Americanized but still a decent lunch stop

Delicious as always. Thanks Emilio for the excellent service. Clean and chill, a great place to enjoy delicious Thai Food. My go to in the 4S Ranch Area. Be back soon.

    Special Curry

I had the opportunity to try this new special curry, i was recommended by the team there. It was not on the menu yet, i dont have a name for it, but i was told it would be soon. The flavor is really y different from all other curry i had at other places. It was super delicious, if you love curry you would love it. I highly recommend if u get the opportunity to try it, there is two way of enjoying it. First would be enjoying just the way it comes and once you had enough of the way it comes. You mix the curry and rice together it will give you a different flavor.

    Kids pad thai and Eggrolls

Im so glad i tried this spot out. Ive been having an increasingly small appetite so ive been ordering kids meals. They have a great variety of kids meals here so I opted for the pad thai with tofu. Also upon checking in, i got a free thai tea which was the cherry on top! The kids pad thai was the perfect size for me and I also ordered a side of egg rolls. Both items came out piping hot and delicious. The egg rolls were crunchy and the plum sauce was amazing. The pad thai was really good too but was missing some important components of a pad thai such as peanuts, bean sprouts and lime. But I will ask for lime next time. The whole meal cost me about $15 which wasnt horrible. Overall, the food was great so im definitely coming back!

Legitimate Thai food should be fresh and full of flavor. Had a craving and thought to give them a chance. That choice resulted is a limited menu with seriously bland food. I appreciate it was cooked fresh, but when you order a medium spice for one dish and the other is mild, they were both plain. My husband had the chicken curry. I ordered the fried rice. We both needed to chili sauce to make it taste so-so. Have to give the credit for a clean place with friendly staff. This place is good for anyone who to eat. Authentic Thai? Not here.

    Shrimp with glass noodles

A delicious spot to get Thai food in 4S Ranch. Stopping in here on the way home to pick up some dinner was a great plan. I also want to note that even though they have no indoor seating there is plenty of outdoor seating. I ordered shrimp with glass noodles. They had quite a line of people waiting and a lot of to go orders. The staff inside had it all under control. I waited about 10 minutes for my food. It came out in a sealed paper bag with my receipt stapled on the bag. When I got home and opened the bag I pulled out my environmental friendly container and my food was still warm! Everything was delicious there were a lot of shrimp which is unusual these days. Lately, you only see about 4 shrimp. I kept finding shrimp and more the next day when I ate the rest. I will definitely be back to try their curry.

Visited Gor Gai today after not having had been here a while. Did a take out as they're open during COVID for to-go orders. Portions were great and price was awesome too! Dishes were well flavored! I cannot say enough good things about this place. We had a slight mixup with the restaurant giving us a seafood dish, when we're primarily a chicken/veggie kind of household. I left a voicemail for the restaurant, and they called back the next morning informing us that they would credit us an entree amount to the phone number we used to order with. Overall, satisfied with the food and the customer service!

    Burnt wantons
    Andy P.

Burnt wantons are hard to miss. Serving them ruins the whole dish cause then you're just stuck with an overpowering burnt flavor. Do you just pack em up anyways hoping that no one calls or complains? The Panang curry had the same consistency as the Tom Kah soup we ordered. In fact, they looked strikingly similar. It's as if they just added more coconut milk and spice for the Panang and used a shoe to stir the day old broth to get some kind of sourness for the Tom Kah. Sad.

One of my favorite things about this place is how easy it is. You order on the kiosk, grab a seat, and your food usually comes out within like 10-15 minutes. The inside has a lot of seating and even games like Jenga which makes it feel like a fun spot to hang out for lunch. I didn't interact much with service since I used the kiosk, but the worker upfront was really friendly and even brought my takeout to my table. This time I tried the Dynamite Crawfish Bowl and the Dynamite Fries. The bowl comes with crawfish, rice, dynamite sauce, eel sauce, seaweed, sesame seeds, and pickled radish on top. The fries normally come with sweet potato fries but I swapped mine for regular fries because I just wasn't feeling sweet potato that day. The fries were honestly kind of underwhelming. It was basically fries with dynamite sauce and only a few pieces of garlic confit, which was the part I was most excited for. They weren't bad, just really underwhelming. I honestly think the sweet potato fries probably would've worked better with the flavors. The crawfish bowl though was really good. The crawfish had this slight smoky flavor to it like it was lightly torched and they give you a lot in each bite. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly and the pickled radish on top helped cut through all the richness from the sauces. Everything worked really well together flavor wise. My only complaint is that halfway through the bowl the flavors started blending together a little too much and it gets boring, but overall it was still super satisfying and filling. Definitely still one of my favorite quick lunch spots in Carmel Mountain and somewhere I'd bring friends because the menu has so many good options. Their dessert menu also sounds insane so I already know I'll be back.

I ended up getting the mango salad, the chili stir fried noodle with beef (i had the chow mein noodle replaced with flat egg noodle), the Burmese sausages, and the star of the show for me, the palata with curry dip, i chose the curry with chicken. The fluffy roti bread was one of the best bread I've had in the same group as naan. This roti bread was savory and soft and chewy and just altogether quite wonderful. The curry it came with was thick and robust in flavor. This appetizer is an absolute delight. I enjoyed the chili stir fried noodles also as the beef was tender, infused with deep flavor and completed this dish. The Burmese sausage lacked in flavor for me. These sausages were on the sweeter side. Just not my flavor profile. I later went to Spicy Lao Kitchen and ordered lao sausages. Now thats a sausage. It was amazing! The mango salad could be infused with more mango flavor. This salad was too light for me and even tasted bitter. All and all I still thoroughly enjoyed the salad. The service was stellar. I had a wonderful conversation with Marlo and she was a joy to be around. The inside is decent sized and plenty of tables. There is more than 1 server so thats nice. Lol. I don't really like the sausage since it was too salty in my opinion, but this tteok is actually kinda insane since it is just crispy enough on the outside and qq on the inside. The caramelized spicy/sweet sauce pairs quite well with the rice cake. This was maybe $5. Wings and Drums - 5/5 - I got the Yangnyeom and Spicy wings. I like how their wing/s drum's quality is consistent and they have this crispy skin and spicy sweet sauce with different level of spice (I think koreans like to add sweetness to most of their foods).
