I've been coming here for a while, and I order the Bún Bò Nướng a lot because... why mess with success? It's consistently delicious and has become one of my favorite dishes on the menu. But this visit I accidentally stumbled onto something that deserves its own review. I ordered a Soda Chanh Muối and a Cucumber Cooler. Halfway through the meal I decided to pour them both into one larger cup just to see what would happen. Y'all... I may have accidentally created my favorite drink on the menu. The salty citrus from the Soda Chanh Muối mixed with the cool minty cucumber flavor from the Cooler was ridiculously refreshing. It tasted like a perfectly balanced salty lemonade with a crisp cucumber finish. I honestly sat there wondering why this wasn't already on the menu. If you're eating here, do yourself a favor and order both drinks. Mix them together. Trust me on this one. The Bún Bò Nướng is still amazing as always, but I might have discovered my new favorite drink combination. 10/10 highly recommend read more

Unfortunately this place seems to be going downhill. I don't know if it's under new management, as others in the reviews have speculated, but check out the latest reviews and you can see that this place is dwindling. We ordered the beef stew and it arrived lukewarm, with about 40% of the beef being fat. We also didn't receive any chopsticks, utensils, napkins--nothing. Looking at other reviews, apparently they've stopped providing those things. Unfortunately, this used to be our go-to place, but we have to bring our rating down from 5 out of 5 to 3 out of 5. If someone can confirm that this place is under new management, please do, because there's no way we wouldn't have noticed these problems sooner. I've been here several times in the past; however, it's been quite some time since my last visit. Unfortunately, I don't see myself going again. I don't know if they've changed owners or what but it's nothing like I remember. Arrived about 5pm on a Thursday and there were a couple tables full, but thought there'd of been more. As the evening went on it certainly filled up so maybe we're an early dinner. Service was good, not great. No we're not ready to order 10 seconds after we sit down, and yes we're ready to order after 10-15 minutes. Helpful when you ask (like asking for the check 3 times), but not real engaging. Odd they have the robots to deliver food, but a server has to follow and put the food on your table (not a big deal, but kind of a waste of time/effort). Let me start by saying I eat Vietnamese food, but am no expert so take my comments with that in mind! We ordered the 'Classic Spring Rolls' and while it was listed, I was surprised by the pork and not sure I'd get those again. One thing that was a bit off putting for me was that the cup with peanut sauce has vermicelli and other things in the the bottom; I'm assuming to fill the cup, so they put in less peanut sauce. What hit was they just take the cups back from the last table, add some sauce, and whatever fell out stayed in the cup. I'm sure that's not it, but that's all I could think of. My wife ordered the VN1 (Hue Spicy Noodle Soup - Bun Bo Hue) and she commented it was anything but spicy and the meats had a texture that wasn't real appealing. I ordered the FR4 (Pan-Fried Rice Noodle Hu Tieu Ap Chao) with beef. The vegetables were cooked perfectly but the meat was a bit spongy, though flavorful. I mostly ate the fried noodles with the egg on top, the vegetables, but left most of the meat. Oh, and finally, it wasn't the most pleasant experience listening to a gentleman and his young child FaceTime with grandma on speaker phone a couple booths over for the majority of our meal. My experience with this restaurant was horrifying. I am home sick today, single mom with the flu. They advertised buy 1 get 1 free - the description clearly stated - well-done brisket pho with broth & noodles. The broth they provided didn't even cover the beef and they didn't include the noodles. When I called them to ask what happened they kept repeating I ordered just the beef. Don't advertise pho soup and not provide any broth. We took the soup to show them and kindly showed them their advertisement and requested broth and they just stared at us like we were crazy. 4.5. Our new favorite pho place because they are the only pho place that opens at 8am and is close to us. Of course we would love if Pho Hoa was closer and they open at 7 but it's so old school and far. We came early couple times. We usually get the large special and myself, I get rare steak, tripe and tendon. The broth is really good, at times a bit salty, but use some lime and sriracha to mellow it out. We've gotten their spring rolls and egg rolls. Their Viet coffee is good except if you get it there they do the traditional phin drip, which takes way too long. Make sure you say Viet coffee to go. It does take awhile for the coffee. Some of the booths are very small. My husband is a bit larger and he can fit in the booth but it's like uncomfortable. Very tight. Solid pho spot. Stopped by on the way home after a trip, and it hit the spot after being deprived of Asian food and filled with alcohol for the past 5 days. Service was great and accommodating for our large group. I ordered a regular rare steak pho. The rare steak portion was generous and cut to the perfect thickness where it wasn't so thin that it curled up in the broth, or so thick that it became tough and chewy. The soup was a little bit oily but very good. The portions were very generous. I had to take half my soup home because there was so much noodles left over. A bonus lunch the next day! I don't live in the area any more, but every time I'm in the area, this is one of my staples. The pho here is really solid, and it's a great value. This last time I went, I ordered the Big Bone Pho. It was around $15, and I was expecting to get a beef rib in it, but I just had to write and say that when they said "Big Bone" they meant "BIG BONE". It was nearly the size of my head! I was blown away by this absolutely massive bone that was brought to me, just wow! Seriously meaty and so many of the good bits. It was so big that the noodles had to be brought in a separate bowl. And for just $15, it was more than one meal for me. I ended up cutting the meat of the bone to bring that home. Pho is one of my all-time favorite Asian noodle soups. I really didn't think that I could be that blown away by any particular pho, but this one did it out of shear shock and awe lol. read more

I ordered vegetarian pho - they have a separate veg menu with 4 items, and the pho is different from their "vegetable pho" that's made with chicken or beef broth. SUPER fresh. Tasty. Light. My only problem was that the broth was not packed that well - so when I got home a bunch of the broth had leaked, and I had basically tasty noodles and steamed vegetable sitting in some broth. I've been here a few times for takeout and once to dine on the patio. Storefront parking as well as a shared mall lot. For takeout I've gotten beef banh mi and egg rolls (I appreciate that they offer both a smaller portion (3) and bigger portion (6)). When I dined in for lunch, I had the vermicelli with egg rolls and pork, which was good and it came in a pinch. I did order a specialty drink but didn't receive it til I went back inside to pay. Where do I even begin, i've frequented this place maybe 3x a month since I've been in high school. Food is absolutely delicious and their pho is so filling. The food is aromatic and hearty and always heals my gut. The bahn mi is so crispy and the chicken is cooked to perfection, seasoning is always on point and this place never fails. Service is fast here and a cute little robot brings you your food which is so fun. Ambiance is relaxing and quiet at least in the days i've come here, and the decor and the fish tank inside the restaurant is so cool! I immediately asked to speak with someone to have it documented in case I got sick. Unfortunately, no one on staff spoke English well enough to understand or properly address the situation. Lazy waiters standing around joking in Vietnamese when vacant tables and booths had dishes that needed to be bussed. I ordered an extra peanut sauce for my spring roll, and when I got home, it looked suspicious. I tasted it, and it didn't taste right. Please accept this complaint regarding the work of the establishment. I picked up an order. Several items were placed in one bag, including soup/broth in a container. The lid was not secured properly, and during transportation it opened, causing the contents to spill completely inside the bag and ruin the other items. Additionally, the staff had warned in advance that the product "might spill," but despite that they still put it in the same bag with the rest of the food, although they could have placed it in a separate bag and prevented the order from being spoiled. Pretty low proportion of meat/fish. High price for what you get. Pho broth has a delicate anise flavor but absolutely no beef taste. Service was pretty quick.
