I'm not sure if my burger standards have increased over time, but didn't think the burger here was nearly as good as what I remember from the Vegas location. Tried the Hells Kitchen burger. It was fairly flavorless and dry. I think that they should have added more sauce. Also maybe use better quality beef. No wait, which was a nice change. This place was amazing! I went in expecting crazy expensive prices but it was pretty affordable around $20-25 per burger wich is not bad. The food was delicious the burger patty was thick and flavorful. Bun was delicious, fries were flavorful and the portions were huge! My freind had an allgery and they were very cautious about it. Inside was causal and cute nice view of Boston. Our Watiress and the host were friendly although we had to wait a couple minutes to be seated beacuse the host wasent there. The burger is fine, above average even. But the fries told a bad story. They were tough on the outside and a little burnt. To me it seemed they had been dunked in hot oil one too many times or left out too long or something (they weren't busy, if they had been busy this probably wouldn't have happened). This is a $20 burger and fries: not super expensive, but the premium over fast food prices should at least encourage fresh/optimized fries for each customers in my opinion. Well it's 2025 Jan 8th. Getting some takeout dinner from my favorite Gordon Ramsay Burger spot haven't been since the grand opening! I'm trying the Grand opening! I'm trying the Steak & Cheese Sandwich with braised beef, caramelized onions & peppers, mushrooms, cheddar sauce, parmesan. The braised beef is tender fresh tasting and Not chew cooked perfect, peppers and mushrooms are great with the caramelized onions that are seasoned! Also I got the Beer-battered onion rings with parmesan on them with chipotle ketchup, cheddar ranch, chives! Wow this place hasn't lost its touch with making Great tasting and quality food still! This place is located in the city, parking is minimal is not non existent. But there's parking garages located near by within walking distance (I hate walking but it's not a bad walk). The service was good, the bartender was pleasant, and attentive, and it wasn't busy. The food was very very average. Which is disappointing considering Gordon Ramsays name is slapped on it. The French onion burger its self was good, the "dip" was lacking flavor and salty- very similar to a saltiness of soy sauce. The dessert was absolute trash, i got the brownie sundae. Stopped by on the way back to the hotel so my sis could order a burger to go. She ordered the Hell's Kitchen burger with no avocado or bacon. The bar tender who we were asked to place the order with was not welcoming at all. She did not offer a menu so we just pulled it up on Yelp. What an amazing experience. I need to start out by giving a big shout out to the staff who were there on Friday October 11th. I was there with my teenage daughter for a concert but had time to eat before the show. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile by a very kind hostess & sat right away. The waiter was awesome & happily answered all the menu questions. We ended up getting the fried hot chicken sandwich & Hell's kitchen burger. I had a question about the hot sauce for the chicken & the waiter knew all about it. He suggested I have the hot sauce on the side & I am so glad I did. It's not your regular hot chicken sauce. Overall: having tried the other Ramsay Burger in Vegas this doesn't meet their standard for a variety of reasons. The overall burger franchise has gone down significantly since way before Covid as they got rid of a popular staple, poutine. However, this franchise fails to keep up to the industry standard of quality and pricing. Food: the first alarming flag is that the burger come a La carte without fries at a hefty price of $17. That is already pretty concerning add on that the fries were $6 for regular and $9 for truffle. So you're looking at more than $50 for 2 people already. Looking at the portion the burgers were pretty sizable somewhere in the 1/2 pound patty range. However the fries were not cooked fresh and not nearly enough for even one persons worth especially at that price. Lastly the flavor was very bizarre if nothing other than to say that we left hungrier than when we first arrived. Mostly due to the lack of basic flavors. It felt like I was eating air?? I ordered the burger that comes with egg and bacon and there was no semblance of bacon flavor in the burger. Even the blue cheese burger lacked the pungent smell and flavor. Ambience/Decor/Service: the service was pretty exceptional, food came out reasonably quick, and it was a fairly well constructed restaurant. It was not really super busy the first time I tried to come in here, but fine, I will get a reservation. Near the end though, it took a long time to get the check and it was not even picked up until we just brought it to the front desk ourselves. This took around 25 minutes and though I understand it was getting quite busy at the end of our meal, this was a downer. FOOD: 4/10 Backyard Burger - 6/10 - It was okay. That sums this up the best. In Boston, Wahlburger truly stunned me much more. For a similar price range, this cannot compete. Onion Rings - 1/10 - These were utterly a catastrophe. They were fried with the dough hard as wood. I had to stab the ring maniacally to even be able to pierce it. And it failed the Onion Ring Test. The test of a good onion ring is when you bit into it, the onion inside should not all slip out at once. Guess what? It all slipped out and left essentially a snake husk of hard, fried dough. In Ramsay's words, this was "a disappointment." VALUE: 6/10 Not as overpriced as I expected it to be for a celebrity chef restaurant. My daughter and I we're so excited when we bumped into a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. I usually don't go out to restaurants and order hamburgers but today was an exception. Also, when I go out with my kids, I have to keep it simple. We decided to go in and have dinner. The wait was about ten minutes which we didn't mind. My daughter and I ordered the Backyard Burger which was seventeen dollars a piece, which doesn't come with fries. I ordered a water and the waitress brought us a bottle of water and I didn't realize until I gotten home that the restaurant charged eight dollars for a bottle of water. I would have never thought restaurants charge for water because usually restaurants bring you a bottle of water. I guess I just learned something new. The hamburger was okay. Nothing to rave about. It tasted like a hyped up Whopper Burger. In my opinion it's definitely not worth seventeen dollars for a burger. I would be surprised if this place survives a year. It's on prime real estate in Boston, right across from the North End. Even walking in, seeing plenty of tables open and tons of open reservation slots online, the wait was still long. Not in any rush, it was fine, but they don't seem to have their act together. WHERE IS THE LAMB SAUCE?!?! Just kidding, there is no lamb sauce needed at this place as it's specialized in burgers rather than other Gordon Ramsay fine dining restaurants. I went with a group of friends on a rainy October day to try the new Gordon Ramsay Burger that had just opened maybe a month before. There is also a very cool dining space on the roof but it was raining so we unfortunately we couldn't get the experience of sitting there. We arrived at around 1:30pm and the restaurant was not very busy probably due to the rain. However, I'm not complaining because this resulted in a much faster service and no delays in getting our food. I really really really enjoyed the food! I started with the Hellfire Chicken Wings; once you take a bite, it's hard to stop eating because the wings are just that good! It was sweet and tangy with a little spicy flavor so it won't overwhelm you if you don't normally eat spicy food. I also got their burger of the month (Truffle Burger) and it was gone seconds! Then I finished off with an Oreo Creme Brûlée Shake which was top tier. I guess my only complaint would be the value of my meal. The burgers here are OK and not worth coming back for. The cost of a burger here ranges from $15-21 and do not come with any sides. If you want fries, you can get this for an additional $6 but their fries are decently sized and will feed up to 2-4 people. We tried a few different burgers here today including their Hells Kitchen Burger (their speciality burger with avocado, roasted tomato, mozzarella, and jalapeño), the Backyard Burger (simplest burger on the menu with standard tomato, onions, lettuce, and cheese), and their featured burger of the month, the Philly Burger (comes with thinly sliced sirloin, beef patty, cheez whiz, and caramelized onions). I was not a fan of the burgers as they were overall too soft for my personal liking, lacked texture, and the patties didn't really have a good "beefy" taste to them. This is my third experience with the Gordon Ramsay brand; and the best of the three. However, despite all the high notes, I can't say it was as mind-blowing as I'd expect from Mr. Ramsay. I had the opportunity to try: * Hell's Kitchen Burger * Just Fries * Smoke on the Water * Slow Byrne Hell's Kitchen Burger: As far as burgers go, this one was solid. The patty had very good 'meaty' flavor, and was cooked to a true medium as requested. It had enough moisture to not be dry, but not so much it quickly became burger soup on the plate. On the flip side, I found it light on the seasoning. A little extra S&P would have gone a long way. Not all is lost, however. The toppings helped bridge the gap. The fresh mozzarella, roasted jalapeño, and roast tomato had seasoning enough to get us most of the way there. Speaking of, while I generally like a crisp element to add contrasting texture, the combination here worked well. Finally, while I was grateful for the generous amount of avocado, it made the burger a slippery little bugger! Thus, while assembled with care, cooked appropriately, and with mostly tasty ingredients, there was nothing to elevate it from "really solid". Just Fries are, well, just fries. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. They were hot and fresh, and did not seem to have spent time under a lamp. The chives were a nice touch, though I am not sure they did much. The chipotle ketchup, though, I was definitely a fan of. Smoke on the Water was fantastic! Out of all the smoked old-fashioned (and others) I'd had, here the smoke definitely was not lost. Every sip had a little whiff of smokiness. Even outside of smoke and fire, this is one of the best old fashioneds I'd ever had. Despite being a spirit-forward cocktail, it went down silky smooth and was borderline refreshing! If you're not a whiskey drinker, do not be intimidated, this one is approachable and enjoyable for both whiskey drinkers and non-whiskey drinkers alike! Slow Byrne retained the best qualities of Smoke on the Water while being a wholly different cocktail. It was also smooth, and had a gentle, not overpower sweetness. It had a noticeable booziness, and a terrific level of tang. I was also very fond of the spice bequeathed by the Ancho Reyes! The service was excellent! It was just the right amount of attentive in making sure I was happy, and responding promptly to the subtle eye-contact-and-smile. Also, something I loved is they asked before clearing a plate of glass, even if it was empty. This was terrific, as sometimes, even though a plate/glass is empty, you don't quite want it taken away yet. The value was surprisingly good! A $17 burger and $15 cocktails are very reasonable considering the area and the name on the door. The $6 for a plate of fries I will let slide, just this once. The vibe inside is inviting, open, clean, and casual yet upscale. Not at all crowded either, which is always a plus in a city. Finally, just a quick note: only cold water in the washrooms? During a hot and humid 90° day this may be forgivable, but much less so when the harsh New England winter shows it's head. At the Gordon Ramsay level, some warm water would have been appreciated. Thus, a solid value for a solid burger. The experience is enhanced by stupendous cocktails and service. We came to Gordon Ramsay Burger on a Sunday evening and we were seated shortly after arriving. The service was thoroughly average, nothing spectacular but also nothing bad. We ordered the loaded potato chips, onion rings, truffle fries and sweet potato fries for the table. The onion rings were a highlight as they were perfectly fried and had a good ratio of breading. The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious and I would 10/10 recommend getting them. I got the Farmhouse burger and really enjoyed it. The staff unaware of allergens in the food, and the physical menu says that fries are gluten-free, when they are actually fried in the same fryer as wheat ingredients and are most definitely contaminated. Not only is this a legal concern but someone can (and will) get sick. I only know about the gluten because I was extra careful and asked. Seeing "GF" on the menu, people will certainly assume that it's safe. Who knows what else is misrepresented?! Moreover, we were so excited to try our Gordon Ramsay burgers only to be met with cold and unaccommodating servers. Funny enough, the burgers tasted great, but the rest really ruined our experience, and I honestly worried the whole time that my "gluten free" burger could make me sick.
