I have not gone out for a burger in years, however I wanted to try a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in my price range. The line was only about 20 minutes long. Parties of 2 just wait. 3 or more need to check in. We chose to sit at the bar where the service line is instead of a table. This was a good spot to sit for dinner and a show. The staff has a definite routine and food rolls out of the kitchen at a fast pace. We ordered one Burger to share and an order of fries. There was no way I would be able to eat s whole burger. We ordered the Hells Kitchen Burger with avocado and jalepenos and some fries. They split the burger for us and the fries are served with a spicy ketchup and a curry ketchup. I have to say I was impressed with the burger. The meat was seasoned well and the roasted jalapenos and jalepeno aioli added a kick. Even the bun had flavor. The fries were above average, they could have been a little crisper, but this did not take away from the star which was the burger. Every time I've walked past this place there's been a line to get in, and now I understand why! They open at 11am, and we got in line around 10:50. There were maybe 30 people ahead of us, but the restaurant has plenty of seating, so we were sitting down before 11:10. I definitely recommend going as close to 11:00 as possible to avoid a long wait. The food and drinks are really excellent, and all of the staff was wonderful and so attentive. I took a chance and ordered the Bloody Mary--I'm a bit of a Bloody Mary snob, and I'm usually somewhat disappointed when I order them in restaurants--but I was so glad I did. It was probably my favorite Bloody Mary I've had in any restaurant! The cocktails my husband and my dad ordered were also really good. I had the Backyard Burger, which is their standard cheeseburger, and it was SO good; cooked to (medium) perfection. The truffle fries and dipping sauces were also really delicious. Fries don't come with the burgers which was a bummer, but not a surprise for somewhere more up-scale. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back next time we visit the strip. I have always ordered the hells' kitchen burger ($17) cooked medium which comes with asadero cheese, roasted jalapeños, avocado, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeño aioli. So juicy and flavorful. The bun is so soft too. Their truffle parmesan fries and sweet potato fries are good too. I'm a huge fan of sweet potato fires and honestly prefer them over regular fries. I love burgers and these are the best I've ever had. This is both a destination place and an, "I'm starving, let's eat here place." All of the food here is done with a purpose and by way of excellent choices. It's classic, surprising, and everything I didn't know I wanted and did know I wanted. It's the rare "I-could-not-make-this-myself-burger." 1st visit 5 years ago: I was totally wrong. I was surprised because I thought this place would be bready-y and poorly cooked and rude staff and all smoke and mirrors. I did not behave like I thought this, but I did think this. I was totally wrong. It was awesome. I don't watch TV, and I'm not attracted to the notion of the screaming TV chef. I was just one of those people walking along the strip really hungry. The line had 20 people in front of me, but moved quickly--maybe 15 minutes waiting in line. I was looking at the menu on my phone and saw everything was under $20, so I got in line. I sat at the counter. Perfectly cooked to order medium rare burger, fries, and a soda. Best I'd ever had. Food coma, but nothing too heavy. It was a pleasure food coma, not an I'm dead food coma. Last week (Mid-April 2022 and 5 years later): I have thought about the food at Gordon Ramsay Burger for 5 years, and I had to have it again. Again, my expectations were low because I didn't think consistency and quality could be maintained after 5 years; however, I was totally wrong. It was just as good. I ate it twice on two different days. On the first recent visit I had a Hell's Kitchen Burger (with asadero cheese, roasted jalapeños, avocado, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeño aioli. Besides that they make these expertly cooked to order--it's that they make their sauces and roast their own jalapeños that give them the ability to make everything really go so well together. You can parse out all the flavors if you think about it for the first few bites because it's pretty stimulating like tasting wine--but you can also then change gears and eat it like a starving pig because it just goes down so easy. Tender, tender ground beef--ground so finely, it's fluffy and melts in your mouth just like the bread and the cheese. Truffle fries: perfectly sized and cooked. These are the best cut for fries, for a burger, in my opinion. They taste like they're cut there. Perfectly fried twice with a soft potato center and crispy outside. Real Italian Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese shreds and white truffle oil. But if you love sauce, you're going to really love the truffle aioli for dipping. Black truffle specs in it. I don't eat ketchup usually, but I tried all of theirs and they are all good. I liked the curry ketchup better than the house ketchup. But for ketchup, it tastes homemade and organic. They have three ketchups. I also got onion rings and wow. Just get them if you love onion rings. These are large rings sliced thick, battered and garnished with parsley, I think, and lots of shreds of real Italian Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, chipotle ketchup and cheddar ranch dip. The cheddar ranch dip is awesome: soft, almost like whipped cream cheese or sour cream texture--it is not like salad dressing at all. On the 2nd recent visit, I got the Hellfire Chicken Wings and the Fish & Crisps burger. The Wings are the perfect wings and just what people want: an improved upon, but classic buffalo-style sauce with crumbled blue cheese. Perfectly cooked and tender and the chicken was delicious. Again, the best I've had. The Fish & Crisps Burger was delicious but for me, it's too fried, too bread-y, and too saucy. I love their tartar sauce. And I still enjoyed this meal. I'm curious to go over to the Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips place to see what other options they have. The flavors on this and the textures on this were great. But, if I'm eating fish, I want hearty fish, so I probably missed the point. I was told this is actually Bronzino, which is awesome. Burgerfying it makes sense for this place, and I recommend it for anyone with a dietary restriction that keeps them from eating beef. Someone from the line recognized me eating there the second time this week at the counter and so I was sent a Sticky Toffee Pudding Ice Cream Sandwich on the house. This was very unexpected, but made me feel awesome to eat at a place where the staff has some empowerment to make guests feel especially wanted there and wanted back. I felt connected to them as they work and I'm on vacation (which is rare!) I'm on my way to Vegas again this week. (I haven't had a vacation in over 5 years, so I'm making up for it.) I will eat at Gordon Ramsay Burger tonight. And, I can't wait to try his Steak place later this week. Quality control here is 1st rate. The last few times I came to Vegas, I either struggled to find Gordon Ramsay Burger or the line was super long and I didn't have time to wait. I finally made my return to Sin City last month and finally, the line wasn't too terrible around 1pm on an ordinary Wednesday afternoon so I hopped to the back of the line. If you see a line, don't get discouraged - it goes by pretty quick! I got the Hell's Kitchen Burger which was frickin' awesome. It had an awesome kick to it from the roasted jalapeño peppers and jalapeño aioli. I have a really high spice tolerance so if I can feel a kick then I am in love. Loved the blend of the jalapeños and aioli with the oven-roasted tomato, avocado, and asadero cheese. No soggy buns! The buns were solid and held the burger together well. The burger patty was cooked to a nice medium and was juicy enough to where it was enjoyable but wasn't dripping all over the place causing a mess. The Parmesan Truffle Fries was also a winner. The portion size is massive so it's definitely a good idea to share this amongst your group. It came with 2 dipping sauces: the truffle aioli (which was bomb) and their house ketchup. The worst service I've had in a long time. Since I was dining alone, I was offered the option to sit at the bar. 3 different bartenders/servers were right in front of me, and none of them made eye contact. They had time to chat each other up, but paid no attention to me. Thankfully, Wendy arrived with a glass of water and told me that Raul, the guy standing next to her would take care of me. But he didn't even look at me. She took my order, which included a cocktail, and I never saw her again. Lots of drinks were being made, but not mine. 30 minutes later my $33 smallish truffle burger arrived. It was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. The French fries were just ok. Maybe that's why they call them Just Fries. When I got my bill, it included the drink I never got. Raul was off on the other side of the bar counting money, so another bartender who finally made eye contact asked if he could help. I told him I never got my drink, so he asked Raul what to do and he was told to go talk to the manager. Several minutes later the manager comes out, swipes his card at the terminal and walks away. When I was preparing for my trip to Las Vegas I knew I wanted to visit this place! I had heard such good things and the reviews had my mouth watering! As others have said, Gordon Ramsay Burger is located inside Planet Hollywood. When my group and I arrived, we were told there was about a 2 hour wait! I really wish they would take reservations or at least allow guests to check in online, but they do not. There is a line to wait in for a party of 4 or less; if you have 5 or more you go to the hostess to put your name on the list. Once I shared my name and the number in my party, they sent me a text to confirm my place in line. While waiting for our table we played some slot machines and hung out at the bar inside the casino. We killed time like champs! But I am not gonna lie, I was so hungry! When we received our text saying our table was ready I went back to the hostess stand to let her know we were all there. She then had us wait in line behind a few other parties that were ahead of us. This turned into about a 15 minute wait! So we waited 2 hours and then we had to stand in line to wait again before actually being brought over to our table. We were finally escorted over to our table and our server came over with water and a huge smile on her face! Kelsey was her name and she really scored points with us for her positive attitude! We had already looked at the menu while waiting so we were ready to order. I like the open kitchen concept that GR does; it's so fun to watch the kitchen work! And seriously, they were like a well-oiled machine! Everything they did back there was perfection. When we ordered our fries she shared with us how 1 order would be good for 2-3 people so we decided to order 1 sweet potato and 1 regular fry to share with the table. We ordered an app of the kettle chips to snack on while waiting for our burgers. We were hungry! When our food came out it was piping hot and everyone got exactly what we ordered; no mistakes. And all the food came out at the same time! That's a win. My turner patty was juicy and so flavorful. The bun tasted warm and soft and fresh. It was so so so good! I know celeb Vegas restaurants can be hit or miss but Burger is 10000% a hit! They don't take reservations so it's first come first serve but the wait isn't bad at all. I had the Truffle Burger medium well and omgggggg it literally melted in my mouth. There aren't enough words to describe how delicious it was. A side of fries is big enough to share and the fries come out pipping hot and are served with curry ketchup and I forgot of it was bbq or chipotle ketchup as well. I have been wanting to try one of Gordan Ramsay's restaurants for a very long time. After checking out Museum of Selfie with my friends in Planet Hollywood, we have all decided to check out this restaurant. To our surprised, the line were SUPER long. We saw the sign saying "more than 3 people please check in the counter" that's what we did. It's about an hour wait which expected. They text us when the table is ready too. Atmosphere: it's more of a sport bar considered all the TVs were playing sports. We were able to catch some football games while enjoying our meal. Score! Food: All were delicious. They are huge, so be prepared. The burger is about $17 each, but if you don't have huge appetite, you will have left over. I think its perfect size to share along with fries. Service: was very attentive and quick. Since it was all of us first time, we asked for recommendation. She has mentioned Hell's kitchen and Hog's burger. Our waitress asked how we would like the burger cooked. It didn't matter what I said, because it came out well done. The patty was extremely dry and even the fried egg didn't help keep it moist. The bacon was also burnt. The only redeeming part of the burger was the bun. I ended up eating an egg sandwich because the patty and bacon were inedible. I did not order dessert. I am wondering how someone could give this less than 5 stars. 9 people in our group, and all ordered different things. All said their food dish was amazing. I ordered a hot dog. Yes, I didn't want a burger, but wanted something different. It was a foot long, on homemade bread, dipped in butter and grilled. Gourmet, to say the least. This is the first Gordon Ramsay restaurant I've tried and I was not disappointed! Located at Planet Hollywood right at the entrance from the Strip (you also can't miss the huge Gordon Ramsay Burger sign). Like most other good restaurants here, there was a long line but it went by surprisingly fast! The interior is very casual and there's no dress code. Decor is really cool with the open flames that give a high-end touch to the whole atmosphere. My girlfriend got the crown burger and I ordered the forest burger, which was hands-down the most amazing burger I've ever had. You can literally taste the quality of every ingredient, and everything is prepared with culinary perfection! Flavors: amazing! Texture and mouth feel: amaaaaazing! The buns were soft and warm and the patty was so incredibly juicy. I definitely recommend the forest burger, but you really can't go wrong with ANY of the burgers here! Just a note that the burgers come standalone here; drinks and sides need to be ordered on top! We got the truffle parmesean fries which were super flavorful and cooked amazingly as expected. One order is definitely enough for two people to share. My girlfriend and I were skeptical if one side would be enough, but we ended up not even being able to finish it all! Service was great, the employees are friendly and attentive. Food was AMAZING, this place has got to be the best burger spot on the Strip. Portions are extremely generous and you will leave stuffed! Prices are super fair for the quality and portions that you get; absolutely zero complaints about that, super affordable considering it's Vegas. If you're looking for an amazing burger at an amazing price, give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed! read more
