I did show up a little early but the woman working at the counter was so kind I did not mind waiting at all! The place is decorated very cute, with beautiful pairings and lively music playing. I just came here for the first time because I had a class nearby. Best idea ever to have stopped here on a whim . Wonderful customer service, and I'm a vegetarian... a very picky one. What a nice hidden Mexican place. We came here in a Tuesday evening for some tacos. They are small tacos and very authentic Mexican with a nice variety of meats. The lady at the counter was very nice as well. I'm always disappointed with most Mexican food places especially the upscale expensive ones that give you a taco plate with a couple of bloated messy tacos that you can't even eat with your hands because they fall apart. Not to mention expensive. Then there are those food trucks that might have good tacos but are cash only. Who takes cash only these days? I'm sure those places lose out on a lot of business. Was not too impressed with this place. First off, I know they're street tacos, but they're reaaally tiny. They also double up on tortilla but they're pretty thin. I got 2 carne asada, 1 cabeza, and 1 pastor. The carne asada was okay, but not as crispy as I like. The cabeza and the pastor were decent. I prefer bigger cuts of meat but they were very finely chopped. I also got a side of guac but the portion for $2 is pretty small - and it needs a little more seasoning. Their hot sauce is very good and it's a cool hole in the wall place! They also have good parking. While it didn't blow me out the park, they are a good place to go if you're in a pinch. read more
