I never write reviews, but I came in here yesterday and was immediately greeted by the SWEETEST most gorgeous employee! I seriously wish I got her name, the only thing I could identify her by is she had the longest lashes I've ever seen. She complimented me the second I came in and started a conversation that felt super natural and not about selling anything to me. She helped me completely style my ring choices, was totally honest with me on what pieces she loved/didn't like AS much together on me, brought me a ton of different sizes, until we finally both saw my ring stack and were like "YES! This is it." Even when I was done purchasing the jewelry she was still talking to me, recommending jeans from Levi's a few doors down. That experience alone will have me coming back to Gorjana again for jewelry always. I really think the place itself is amazing with the pieces they offer but it's another level to have employees make it feel like you are chit chatting with a girlfriend and not a sales member. THE WORST customer service ever!!!! Such a disappointment because all I wear is Gorjana jewelry! From my earrings, to my necklaces, rings and bracelets! My favorite is my Parker piece. I absolutely love Gorjana! After the experience at the Irvine Spectrum Gorjana I will definitely not be returning. Again, I shop here often because it's the closet one to me. I have never had an issue before until my husbands recent purchase. My husband and I went to pick out a Christmas gift and I chose the gold Bespoke signet ring, engraved. Well, my husband returned a couple days after because they said it would take some time to engrave because they were very busy. UNDERSTANDABLE! No problem! When my husband returned to pick it up they showed my husband the engraved ring and said he would have to stand in line to pay for it. Well the line was quite long so my husband said he would return after picking up a couple more things at the Spectrum. (Also the sales associate mentioned the line would most likely die down when he returned later) When he returned a sales associate said that they couldn't find the order. And so my husband said that makes no sense when I just saw it about an hour ago. And the MANAGER said well I don't know what to tell you, it's gone, it's not here. And my husband was so baffled as to how a personalized ring disappears within an hour. It was such an irritating experience so my husband left and decided to return the following day to resolve the case of the missing ring. So my husband returns the following day to get everything sorted out and as he is standing outside waiting to go inside the sales associate approaches him during his turn to go in next and doesn't even let him inside the store! She said I remember you from last night. He does his entire transaction OUTSIDE! While Gorjana associates are letting people in behind him. HOW INCREDIBLY RUDE! I purchased many things at this place as time goes by in the last past year everything changed in there. They have the worst customer service. Their policy is that if the jewelry tarnish you can exchange it for a brand new replacement however when you try to do that they tread you like a thief they make you feel stupid with like 10 questions is uncomfortable ridiculous all other customers looking at you because you are returning etc etc I bought a set of rings that they can not find in their system. That is not my fault but they sure found like 20 other pieces of merchandise that I bought and even like that with a record of a loyal customer they have the audacity to say that they need to ask cooperate and they can't exchange it. So they kept my rings until CORPORATE review it Never again going there the customer service is terrible. The sales associate even brought out the director of retail Alexa Abell that claim not to be empower to do an exchange she said I can't do it but I can see that you are a loyal customer. REALLY WHAT WAS THAT $65 purchase and she has not power to exchange it. As a manager from a retail store I can only say shame on you guys for not taking care of a loyal customer. The following week I went to the store to return the items for gold instead of rose gold. They told me one of the items had been discounted. He just purchased them?! And when I asked if I could exchange the ring for a different (more expensive) ring and pay the difference, they said no. All of the items had the tags on, but I didn't have a receipt. They had to call management to get approval. It was such a hassle. They were so unfriendly and the FOUR employees working were just standing around with nothing to do. Gorjana has beautiful jewelry. Although it is expensive, I am a returning customer. However, it is EXTREMELY difficult to switch in your jewelry if it becomes tarnished. The girls working there are kind and patient but not very helpful. I understand that they do not create the policies at Gorjana; but I find it inconvenient that you can not switch a tarnished ring for a different size even though it is the same price. I left buying multiple items from the fine collection (3 bracelets and 2 necklaces). While the initial experience was fantastic, I write this review for my experience a week later. I just shopped at this store for the first time after receiving $100 in gift cards for Christmas. The jewelry looks the same as what you would buy in the jewelry district in LA, but obviously priced up to match what rent must be at the Irvine Spectrum. That's fine. However, the saleslady who helped me was super unpleasant. Unfortunately, I was caught off-guard and didn't think to get her name. The store was crowded and there were no prices on anything (including the jewelry that was out of the cases), and I didn't know what the average price there is since I've never shopped there before. I was trying to choose something for $100, but again, nothing had a price on it. So, when I saw the girl next to me open the drawer below the earrings and pull out the pair she wanted with a price attached, I did the same without thinking about it. I quickly found two pairs I liked that totaled the amount of the gift cards, when a very upset saleslady suddenly walked over telling me I was NOT allowed to access those drawers (not sure why they're not locked?). She then begrudgingly asked how she could help me, and I told her I'd like to buy the two pairs of earrings she just confiscated from me. We then went on to have a very awkward interaction where she was clearly angry at me, but had to ring me up. It ended with her silently thrusting the earrings at me without a word or smile and me attempting a weird, "thanks". All in all, it was a strange experience for an uninteresting looking product. Hopefully, I'll at least be proven wrong on the quality. I won't be going back to that store though. I understand that you deal with a lot of people you may not want to when you're in sales, but many of us have to do the same in our jobs, and her reaction to an innocent mistake was a little excessive. read more

I had such a wonderful experience today at this location! I had to return a couple of items and the sales girl, Yasmeen, was so friendly and super helpful. She said hello right away when I walked in. I typically buy jewelry from here often but I don't always venture out of my comfort zone. She was super helpful and showed me all of the new items that came in. She also gave me some recommendations but was never trying to upsell me. She could tell from what I was wearing the style that I liked and gave me some great suggestions. I ended up returning my items and exchange them for two beautiful necklaces. I also ended up purchasing a super cute set of earrings. Once I was at the counter she noticed that the rings that I had we're a little bit doll and she switched them out for me without even me asking. I went to the Irvine Spectrum store where I was greeted by Xasavia(spelling not sure on her name) she was so kind and friendly, so awhile ago I purchased my favorite piece it's the mother pearl sunset pendant necklace and I've loved it ever since and also a few bracelets and have had many compliments too many to count. I went in to purchase a new necklace as mine had tarnished and I wanted the same one. Xasavia was amazing and when I asked her if they had any as mine had tarnished it was replaced with no questions asked!! I couldn't believe it. I was lost for words! Jewelry is beautiful and I was about to buy some earrings (because I have multiple holes In my ears, and I wanted something better than Claire's), and one of the employees with long red hair, was EXTREMELY RUDE TO MY CHILDREN THAT WERE SITTING IN THE SWINGING CHAIRS! As she yelled at my kids, I even got caught off guard, I put down the earrings, I was interested in and left. I didn't want to make a scene because she already did by embarrassing yelling at my kids while I was standing right there! I was watching my kids, one was sitting down and one was swinging the chair a little and before I could say anything, that girl was yelling at them and my kids were respectful and didn't talk back and she said to them "YOU GUYS WERE SWINGING THE CHAIRS!" So I said "OKAY guys were leaving!" The girl with long blond hair and a silver nose ring was so nice and helpful! But I will not return to this business after today. I actually stopped by the new store because it was so welcoming and bright, I just had to check out the new store and I'm so glad I did. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Hannah and she was so incredibly helpful. I love everything about the jewelry here and the lifetime warranty is really what sold me.
