Finally made it to the Quay store! Came during the evening on a Saturday. Been eyeing some sunnies for a couple years online however did not take the plunge because as an Asian, it's difficult to find glasses that fit right. Jordan helped me in store to find some glasses that would fit my face. She measured and asked for assist to make sure that she measured correctly to get the right fit--much appreciated! Jordan went over lense options--I chose the polarized with my prescription and used my HSA card. I was able to get a 30% off the total! My prescription sunglasses were mailed to me within a couple of weeks. They didn't fit right so I just went back to the store and Jordan fitted for me so they're now perfect. I love my new sunnies! Went in 2 weeks ago to have some adjustments/cleaning done on my glasses, and the two customer service reps there were incredibly helpful and attentive to my needs. I had been having trouble keeping dirt out of hard to reach nooks and crannies of my glasses (without potentially breaking them) and the manager not only gave me tips on how to best go about cleaning and taking apart the lenses, the temple tips and the hinges, but also went ahead and gave complementary touch ups and new nose pads as well. They also went ahead and showed some of the new selections (although I still haven't found many that fit my head properly). I was beyond excited to see this store in person! I've received a few pairs as gifts from a friend and I've been hooked ever since. The last pair I bought, I actually got for a great deal off Amazon. Service here was amazing, I was told they had a sale for 30% off all their sunglasses, so after trying on a bunch, I couldn't just walk out without getting a pair! I heard about Quay from my coworker, who heard about it from her youngens. Apparently it's a super popular glasses brand that originated from Australia. Stylish designs according to the youngens and very very affordable. I had already planned to take my new prescription to Quay when I received a promotion text regarding a buy one get one free!! Whaaaaa?!?! Sounds too good to be true right?? It's legit. During this promotion, if you buy a pair of prescription glasses, you can get a pair of sunglasses or blue light glasses for free!! The timing of everything really aligned for me. I thought it was such a great deal I've been telling all of my close friends and family about it. On the day of my visit, Alyssa welcomed me and helped me with my purchase. Above and beyond service and she was also super knowledgeable. So I'll be honest. There was a limited selection of prescription glasses to pick from. It felt like a few styles made into multiple colors. And of those there were only a few that matched my general style preference. The one I ended up picking was the okay-est of the bunch, but I wouldn't say I was in love with them. The sole purpose I'm coming here is pricing. On the bright side the sunglasses have a much better selection, plenty to choose from. After I decided on my prescription glasses and sunglasses, I gave Alyssa my prescription. She took a photo for their personal records and then input my prescription information into the order. In addition, she also did some eye measurements, just like an optometrist's office would. Super professional! So I got my Algorithm Oversized Black prescription glasses ($95 value) and a pair of Tag Me Tortoise/Brown polarized sunglasses ($75 value) all for $95, no tax since it is a medical purchase. And for no additional charges all of their prescription glasses have blue light technology, anti reflection, scratch resistance, smudge resistance, uv protection and high index. You can return it within 30 days, and you have a warrantee for the year. WHAT A DEAL!! I was able to take the sunglasses with me and then the new pair of prescription glasses will be conveniently mailed to me at no additional costs. This place was GREAT and I had the BEST EXPERIENCE today! I went in just to look and the sales people were great (so sad I didn't get names). Due to the AMAZING customer service of the ladies I worked with in there, I ended up leaving with FOUR pairs! The extra exciting part was I got a hardcover novel and a beach bag as extras!! 2 female employees working when I entered the store. I found a pair of sunglasses I liked and wanted to purchase. The employee 1 working behind the counter was helping a family of 4 purchasing a few pairs of sunglasses and it took so long shes not even done. The employee #2 was just walking around the floor cleaning sunglasses organizing...she kept on saying I be there to help you soon...but the help soon she offered never came by so I left the store. I walked in during a BOGO promotion and apparantely if you spend over a certain amount, you get a pair of free blue light glasses. I was disappointed when they offered it to the lady before me but not when I was rung up. I know I spent just about the same amount and I could've easily said something but my experience in the store was upsetting so I thought to myself that it wasn't worth it. The moment I walked in, no one greeted me. No one checked in. There were other customers being helped but workers that weren't helping someone weren't even paying the slightest attention. Thankfully I already knew what I came for but it just felt rude. The workers are probably the reason why this store is never busy. When this store opened I loved it. Now 6 months later I HATE going back in the mornings. They have the RUDEST employee with dark hair that makes me want to HURRY my butt out of the store. My daughter needed her sunglasses adjusted and we felt like we were bothering her. Your Quays employee, get some customer service skills!!! I previously made a profile to purchase reading glasses 6 months back too and couldn't get the nerve to ask the employee to look it up as well. I bought frames elsewhere because of this. I was SOOOO excited to hear we finally have a storefront here at the Spectrum. I went in this morning for the first time and was even more thrilled to see a BOGO sign in the front of the store. After a few minutes of trying on glasses I asked the sales associate if the BOGO applied to all glasses. She said, "No, that sale ended yesterday". I showed her the sign and kindly asked if they would honor the sale since they were advertising it. She looked at me, said "No, it ended yesterday" and then took the sign down and walked away. I have Asian facial features and have a difficult time finding sunglasses that frame my face and fit my nose bridge, Quay sunglasses almost always look great on me. Love the sunglasses, hate the service here. They are pretentious and rude. I just tried to get a credit on sunglasses because I could not choose another pair for exchange today...I just wanted to come back a different day. The girl said their "new system" wouldn't let them give me a credit. I HAVE to choose a new pair today. That makes zero sense that a store can't give credit. read more
