Ordered 2 pad thai for togo and forgot to take a picture but good portion size and tasted great! Their prices are very affordable and ran by some sweet ladies. They are super quick and were able to get my order done in 10ish minutes! I would definitely come back and try out their other items.

I came to Grab Thai for a take out order around 30mins before they closed on a weeknight and had a wonderful experience! I've been to restaurants where the quality of food is decreased when it's close to closing, but that wasn't at all the case here. The staff were incredibly kind and warm and service was spectacular and fast. I ordered my usual go-to's: Ginger chicken, Drunken noodles, and spicy basil fried rice. All of the dishes were very tasty! The vegetables were super fresh, and the meat quality was great! My favorite was the ginger chicken; they loaded it up with fresh ginger and it's just delicious! A lot of Thai places I've tried use very little to no ginger in "ginger chicken," but this restaurant exceeded my expectations. And not to mention the prices here -- so affordable!!! I was very pleased with everything and will absolutely return.

[Food] Ordered takeout via phone - Roti Dip ($8.32): I'm not sure if it's the way they packed it or a faulty sauce cup, but all the curry sauce spilled out and made the roti all soggy. I tried to salvage it by airfrying them but did little to help. That aside, the roti was pretty good but the curry sauce was delicious! - Grab Wings ($11.44): Ordered this in a mild spice. I wish this was a dry rub instead as the soggy wings didn't help. The favor was good, as it was a light peanut-y, sweet, chili, acidic sauce, I think. - Pad See Ew ($13.52): Ordered this w/ pork in mild spice and this definitely delivered! Pork was nicely cooked and noodles were well seasoned! Would order again. - Penang Curry ($13.52): Got this w/ pork and medium spice. Another gem, considering flavor, tender meat, and spot-on spice! - Tom Yum Soup ($12.95): Love that they added so much veggies and grateful that the pork wasn't overcooked. Personally though, it was a tad too sweet for me. Acidity and spice were on point! Loved that this was a true medium spice! - Beef Larb ($14.56): Online this is set to $13.56 and in-person this is priced at $13 but I was charged an extra $1 and was told this is the same pricing as the beef salad. That aside, I was actually really surprised that the minced meat was so juicy. This turned out to be my fav dish of the night! I got this in a medium spice but this tasted mild to me. [Service] - Fast, friendly, attentive - Confused what is the true pricing as I read reviews that ordering via phone would be more true to what you'd pay if you ordered there, but upon picking up my phone order takeout, I realized they charged me online prices. Online prices vary from $0.30~$4 depending on the dish from what I saw on the menu in-person. I understand ordering via website has an up-charge to help sustain online orders via the platform but I was definitely disappointed that even phone orders were up-charged. [Ambiance] - Small and causal mom & pop restaurant [Overall] - My favorites out of this order were the Beef Larb & the Penang Curry. Both super flavorful plus meats were tender & juicy. - I would rate this place more of a 3.5 but am willing to bump it up to 4 stars despite the up-charge via phone order. I'm still willing to come back and try other dishes just for the affordability but I may just order in-person instead of website or phone order.

I feel like not many people know about this spot. At least I didn't, it's kind of tucked away in the corner of the food mart plaza below Eastridge Mall, but I felt like I had a great authentic experience here. I dined in, and the store seems to be run by two aunties. Menu prices are very competitive compared to other places, and they also have lunch specials at an even better price point. I really like how this place offers a lot more variety in Thai cuisine than other spots. Since it was my first time, I just went with the Pad Thai, level spicy. I love how every dish is made to order, and it really felt like I was getting a home-cooked meal. The food was delicious and piping hot since it had just come straight from the wok. I got beef as my protein, and it was super tender. I also love how spicy they can make it here because I'm a big fan of the Thai chili spice. You can squeeze in as much lime as you want, and I love how the citrus cuts through the dish. Seating was plentiful at this location. While I was eating, the chef walked over to check in on my meal. It was cool learning she immigrated here from Thailand and has been cooking ever since. She was super sweet and told me how she picked up English, Vietnamese, and even a little bit of Spanish while working which is really impressive and inspirational. This place also seems really popular for delivery because a lot of people came in to pick up orders while I was dining in. I overheard the chef explaining to someone getting takeout that she only cooks the noodles lightly so that by the time they get home, the dish is perfectly cooked and not too soggy. From the interaction, it feels like the store owner really knows her craft. I'm usually not a big fan of DoorDash because of delivery delays, but I'd feel really comfortable ordering from here knowing that the owner keeps things like that in mind. I'm excited to come back and try other menu items because they have dishes I wouldn't expect to see outside of Thailand, or at least not at restaurants in the area. Overall, just really solid Thai food made super authentically.

5 star for taste, 3 star for quantity. We order takeout from here regularly. Today we noticed that the quantity is ridiculously small. Very disappointed.

We were greeted by a friendly cashier upon entering this eatery. We ordered the Pad Thai with Pork, Chicken Satay, Green Curry With Pork, jasmine rice, and two Thai Iced Tea. Our food came out in a timely manner. The sauce for the Pad Thai had a sweet, salty , and sour taste to it, which I really liked. I can really taste the tamarind in it. The Green Curry with Pork had eggplants and bamboo shoots in there. The chicken satays were moist in the inside and the cucumber salad went well with them. The Thai Iced Teas had the right amount of sweetness to it. The prices are fairly reasonable and they were generous with the portions. We will be back to try their salmon curry, seafood mango and the larb salad.

This is one of the best spots for thai food in SJ. Not many people no about it. I love their drunken noodle. The tẽcute has a great char to it and its packed with flavor. There's a good amount of seating and the workers are also super friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Affordable Thai food and they are super quick! Got my basil fried rice and I could really taste the basil! I love to come here to support the local business.

    Drunken noodles, Crispy Tofu

This place is amazing. I've ordered the drunken noodles, mango sticky rice, crispy tofu, and much more and it all tasted amazing. On top of that the service is pretty good, the workers are kind and helpful. I also enjoyed the vibe and ambience of the place! I'll definitely come here often.

Passed by the spot often and I think their hours are on and off sometimes, so I didn't get the chance to try it until recently. Ordered off of DoorDash while in the mood for Thai food. I chose the spiciest level the foods because I'm not sure what to expect when ordering from a new Thai place. The food came piping hot and on time. Wow, the heat was real! My mouth was blown away lol. The papaya salad felt spicer than the pad thai, so I ate more pad thai to balance out the salad. The pad thai was less spicy the next day. Pad thai: Not the best in terms of flavor; I think it could use more seasoning. The noodles were all stuck together. I think the heat made it pretty tasty though. Papaya salad: I wish the papaya was more crunchy and cut more thin like most places. However it was saucy and the spice was good too. Tom yum soup: Spicy! People said leaned more on the sweet side but it was good to me. Lots of onions. I wish there was more cabbage and mushrooms. All in all, a standard place for Thai food in the area.

    Papaya salad

Authentic Thai food, cooked by Thai chef. Wish they have more items like thai dessert.

I ordered my curry hot and was pleasantly surprised that it actually had a good kick and made me sweat. Most places I go to don't ever make it spicy enough. The curry was really flavorful and the portion size could easily feed two! Like massive. Definitely not enough rice compared to curry. The thai tea was really refreshing and the perfect drink for my meal. Appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. There was one server holding it down when I came during Monday around noon. There was about 5 parties including myself and she was very efficient. I was able to dine in and get out of there within 30 minutes. The place is very casual.

My family arrived a bit before 8 pm with a party of 10. I knew it was a large party an hour before closing, and the restaurant was packed, so we gave them some grace. However, the women proceeded to be hostile and berate multiple people in my party, for asking questions about the menu. I understand a language barrier could be the reasoning for this but any attempt to clarify what we needed was met with hostile interactions. My boyfriend asked if a dish came with rice, and she scolded him for it. My older sister asked for recommendations on shareable meat entrees, and she scolded and yelled at her, saying, "No, you tell me what you want, and I'll tell you if it's good." After that, she walked over to the register and started talking shit about my family in Thai, thinking I couldn't understand. She brazenly threw in a few English words like "annoying" and "so rude" while aggressively pointing at our table. I was ready to walk out, but I decided to stay as everyone was hungry. When the food finally arrived, the larb was burnt so badly that nobody wanted to eat it. When we finished our meal and were ready to leave, the same person was getting offended that we didn't want to take the poorly made food to go. She became increasingly upset that we didn't take the food. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I highly do not recommend eating here.
