This review is for a togo Padthai - 3 shrimps total - 3 small cubes of tofu - very little amount of eggs - no bean sprout - NO pad thai flavor at all, very very plain. I thought i was eating plain noodles - noodles was very chewy and they gave a lot of noodles - I cannot finish or continue eating because it was too plain. Their padthai pictures on yelp looks so good and juicy with flavor. They should be consistent with both dine in and togo order. read more

Looked for a quick bite to eat on Monday and thought about Thai Elephant, but it's closed on Mondays ): ended up going a few mins away towards this place and really enjoyed it. Got takeout from here a few times and have not been disappointed. Convenient area with a lot of parking and nice decor. The service was very friendly as well. I've tried the: - Pad kee mao: spice level HOT and they do not mess around it was incredibly spicy I had to take breaks. Will definitely stick to medium next time. But very flavorful and yummy just wish noodles didnt clump into small pieces but its inevitable with pad kee mao. - Papaya salad: spice level HOT once again made a bad decision on my part because the spice is crazy and I usually pride myself on having good spice tolerance. Would stick to medium on this as well! Loved the flavor though. - Pad thai: spice level medium, noodle texture was great and was very tasty! - Thai tea: not sweet enough for me and a bit expensive ($5) for what it looks to be ~16-20 oz cup. Usually only boba places charge so high for a drink! - Mango sticky rice: delicious and beautifully made. Overall, a bit pricy but worth it to support a new small business. Not that many thai places in the east SJ area so I'm glad to have another place closeby! read more

Used to be one of my favorite Thai restaurant. The Spicy Catfish dish was one of my favorite. BUT, the last few times we ordered to-go, they have changed the to-go containers and the fish is very soggy. Taste is also not as good as they used to be. Food is just so so. The Salmon curry - only a small piece of salmon for the price. Very disappointed. Oh, service is not good. The older gentleman behind the counter was quite rude. I came there a few minutes early to pick up my to-go order and was scolded for being early. I'd rather go to Thai Elephant down the street. read more

I was surprised when I saw all the reviews, probably the restaurant changed ownership ? It says grand opening now and the food tastes wrong and way overpriced. We ordered a sea salt calamari comes in like total 7 small calamari ring pieces with no SALT at all. A seafood mango combo comes with mostly veggies and 3 TINY pieces of mango. We tipped 15% for a ToGo on top of the food, but feel like we're robbed when we opened the boxes. Will never go there again. read more

I don't want to leave a bad review for this place but i feel like i have to after today's to-go order. I've gone here a couple times before and while I thought the prices were a little high, they were worth for what it was. The first time I got their chicken satay skewers I was in love. The seasoning was good, the chicken was tender but not dry, the sauce was good and the pickled cucumbers were a nice compliment. But for some reason today's order for the chicken satay was just horrible! For one, I only got 4 skewers instead of the usual 5 and the slices were really thin with the box was leaking juices all over. The sauce was so badly mixed that the oil had separated out and was just sitting on top. And the cucumbers were not even pickled! It was like they had just cut them up and threw them in the vinegar sugar water. I had also gotten the fried tofu on whim, which was also a mistake because it was maybe 10 thin piece at most, for 7 dollars. I had not ordered it before today so I dont know if it's usually that little. They had got my order relatively fast but I had wished they spent even 5 minutes more so that the food didnt end up so horribly. I wanted to come back here again but I dont know after today. read more

I have visited this place three times. The first time, we had a great experience with our order. The food was tasty and we were happy to finally have a Thai place nearby. The second time, we ordered the same food but the consistency was not the same, less tastier almost bland. We gave it another shot and ordered to go and received the wrong order. I called and no one answered or got back to me. Disappointing. They do seem very busy and in need of more workers. We won't be back. read more

My friend recommended this new Thai place so I wanted to try it out. It used to be Govea's located next to the Party City, so there was plenty of parking. I ordered the Yellow Curry with Chicken and Crab Fried Rice. It was soooooooo good!!!!! You get a good portion of food for the price, which is great! I'll be back to try a few other dishes. The restaurant owner is so sweet, she said they don't do any advertising so it's all by word of mouth. I'm so glad there's a good Thai restaurant close by. This food here was good when it first opened but the quality has done down. First, it has an open kitchen concept but very poor air suction. Upon entering, the strong smell of fried food is overwhelming and will stick to your clothes and hair. The food is very bland. To make it worse, when I confronted the owner as to why my garlic beef didn't come with broccoli. She adamantly argued that the dish doesn't come with broccoli. I told her, why don't you check your own menu before arguing. read more

I came here for lunch today and ordered 4 dishes to go. If you're reading this review I hope you make these small changes. The paper container you guys used is not good because it soaks up the sauce/liquid and begins to deform and gets messy. The pad thai was ok nothing to special. The pad se ew was way over cooked and the noodles is no longer noodles but looks like mush. The eggrolls that came with the order is not good. The papaya salad was okay. And lastly your beef with black pepper stir fry was okay. The steam rice you put in the paper togo container. Tried this place today with my wife and daughter. We all LOVED the food! It's everything good Thai food should be; salty, spicy, sour and sweet. The portion sizes are very generous, we couldn't finish it all. I had the drunken noodles with beef for my protein. I ordered it spicy, and it was amazing. My wife ordered butternut squash curry with chicken for for her protein. My daughter got spicy basil fried rice. Everything was on point. I have no criticisms for the food. I CAN'T WAIT to go back and try more of the menu. The one thing that I need to mention, is that the place where they cook is in the middle of their eating area. When the cook was stir frying spicy dishes, the chili fumes permeate the air, and it caused me and my family to cough and sneeze a little. It's not meant as a criticism. Just a point that maybe they need a better hood fan. I still give them 5 stars. Loved the food, and the service was so friendly! read more

I got the pad see ewe with shrimp and family member got the pineapple fried rice ( a little blend) not the best tasting, but cannot expect more for this good price point during the pandemic time. Next time we come back we will try their Thai ice tea since everyone in the restaurant there was ordering it specifically. read more
