She fills 2 of the 3 glasses of water and walked away more concerned with her coworkers than waiting on her guests. The food was amazing. The mac n cheese was so good. But there was some bad things. When walking in the service was slow with open tables we still had to wait. When we were finally seated our waiter with the initials of AM just walked away. We were waiting about 5-10 mins before he came back to ask us what we wanted to drink, We told him and we were sitting there for about 10 minutes more and still didn't get our drinks. A different girl had to come over and take our drink order for us. Not going to give the whole story but there was hair in all of our napkins, there was hair in our smash burgers, and it was just disappointing. The ambiance was good and bad. Our waiter didn't really talk to us. When he was bring a refill he just walked over and set it down kind of hard. I just have not seen this bad of service in a very long time. We did get up and tell the manager and she was extremely disappointed as well. She re-ordered our smash burgers and we got free dessert. Met a friend for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Atmosphere was clean and classic, as more people filled the restaurant it did become loud which hindered our ability to have conversations. We both ordered a salad, the fall harvest with spiced chicken and the Caesar with grilled shrimp. The portions were smaller than your average restaurant but adequate for a lunch time appetite. My friend and I agreed that the salads were average. The shrimp was challenging to pull off of the skewer so be prepared. Service was also average, as our server was neither overly friendly nor rude. They did seem a bit preoccupied and kept asking if we wanted to try anything to drink, the push for a cocktail was a bit too much for an early lunch. Overall, just not a match for us. read more

We have been hesitant due to the mixed reviews we've heard from people, but figured that the restaurant was still figuring things out since they just opened roughly a year ago. We decided to finally take a chance with some family from out of town for lunch. My general take was disappointment. Service was sort of awkward and it seemed that a few people on the staff didn't know the table numbers very well, but that's not a big deal in my eyes. Decor looked great! The drinks and starter we got were good! But generally the main courses is where it fell flat. There were some things that tasted fresh, but most of what we get needed to taste great to justify the cost we were paying. From what our experience was, the value isn't really there. I understand "prices are insane these days", but I don't foresee the survival of a restaurant charging the same prices of an upscale establishment, while not supplying the same quality and flavor as one. Buns to the sandwiches and burgers were dense and not palatable. The breaded chicken tasted like a wing stop chicken tender. Nothing wrong with wing stop chicken, but that's not what I'm expecting on my $18 chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was dry and if it weren't for the copious amount of sauce on the sandwich, it wouldn't have any flavor to it. The saving grace was being able to pick an included dipping sauce for the fries and the homemade pickles being pretty good. The breakfast burger advertised the ground meat having multiple different meats including bacon and chorizo, but none of which was present in taste. I'm assuming the non-ground beef meats were a smaller percentage in the blend. The Mac and cheese tasted great at first, but then half way through eating it almost completely separated with a pool of butter/oil forming at the bottom. Maybe this is just my personal frustrated opinion, but butter needs to be a flavor enhancer, not a base. Not sure what happened here. Overall, I would go sit at the bar for drinks and apps, but I do not plan on eating another meal here until either prices drop (unlikely based on what the owners are commenting on other reviews) or quality ramps up a notch. read more

Overall food was excellent!! The cocktails were good. For an appetizer we chose the burrata crostini which was good, but the tomatoes seemed alittle underripe which was our only critique. The pork chop with the risotto was delicious and the Sea Bass was perfect!! It was so flavorful, nice and moist - perfectly prepared. We saved room for dessert and were so glad as the crème brulee was excellent with a nice thick sugar crust. The coconut mango cheesecake was nice but not at the same level as the crème brûlée. Beautiful place with a great vibe and service. It was busy and we had to wait for over an hour ( I was able to call ahead and put my name on a waitlist, so was not waiting at the place all the time). You can reserve a table using resy too(at the time of this review). Our server was friendly and informative. She gave us recommendations for the drinks and food based on what we mentioned to her. We ordered a mule and a red wine, both the drinks were great. Ordered Truffle potatoes from small plate, that was great. For the main course we had Penne pasta and steak noodles. Pasta was great but the steak noodles not as much (only reason for not giving a 5 star). Provided the feedback to the server and she was willing to make it right by providing a free desert (which we declined, as we did consume the food, though we didn't like it much, and the intent was for the cook to know and not to squeeze out something free). As for the food. Well I myself was not impressed. :( 22 stopped for our anniversary while in town for the day and decided to try it out. Hubby got the salmon burger and fries. He said it was ok, but very lemony. I had the perfect storm burger and fries. The fries where delicious. The burger not so much. The bacon was like eating beef jerky, I couldn't bite through it and when I got a bite it was very tough to chew. When I picked up the burger my hands were immediately covered in sauce and avocado. Everything literally slid off the burger. The sauce was so strong it is all you could taste. I took my burgr apart and used a fork to eat, the burger was very chewy and bland. What a delight to come on opening day for lunch. Service was excellent, food came out quickly and plated beautifully. I enjoyed the mocktail Zen Zero with a zippy lime cordial in ginger beer garnished with lime and mint. Very refreshing! We went with friends for lunch. Service was good. Had the Cheesy Elote Dip appetizer, Fig Chutney Burger, Creamy Serrano Pasta, Guchujang Fried Chicken Sandwich and Auntie B's Bowl. Side salad with the burger and upgrade to sweet potato fries with the chicken sandwich. Dip was very good, tortilla chips thick and needed salt and left a pasty mouthfeel ounce chewed up which was odd for tortilla chips, not sure what they were made of---almost seems like they could have had garbanzo bean flour in the blend, which has that characteristic. Burger was deemed very good as was the side salad and they said they would get again. The server said the pasta was a bit spicy, but instead was MN tame spicy, so not too spicy. The Korean sauce-based chicken sandwich was bland and I was surprised by that, it was tender and the coating was good, but I'd ask for a side of guchujang sauce or a spicy dipping sauce next time. Anticipating that the chicken sandwich would be spicy, I opted for a cooling dipping sauce in case it was needed, so had ordered ranch dipping sauce, whereas heat and spice was needed here. The sweet potato fries tasted very good but were skinny which was okay, but most of the pieces were only about 1-inch long and that was very disappointing. The Auntie B's Bowl was plentiful but was bland and needed more flavor my friend said. She said the composition of ingredients was just great and she would order it again, but would ask that they ramp up the flavor, or ask for a side of the maple-tahini dressing. Two of us were celebrating a shared birthday and got the creme brûlée. If any of you are aficionados of this dessert and have had Kincaid's, known as one of the best, this absolutely rivals or exceeds it or any we've had at any restaurant.
