This is my first review of a business but I feel with that with the experience I had with Graham Auto Repair I had to write a review. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by Rob to the moment I left, I was treated with total honesty and respect. They provided me with a loner car (who does that) while they worked on my car for a few days. Car runs great and they even left a little gift basket on the front seat. I contacted Graham Auto Repair because we are new to the area, and needed our truck maintained and prepped for winter. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and flexible with drop off and pick up time. I opted to drop the car on Monday evening for my Tuesday appointment. The work was completed by mid-day Tuesday, and I was advised of some minor issues that would need to be addressed. I asked them to complete the recommended work, and my car was ready for pickup that afternoon. Prices were fair and reasonable. They have our future business! read more

Graham Auto Repair has great technicians. They do a very good job at diagnosing vehicle problems and repairing them. Was having brake issues and after inspection they determined it was due to a faulty caliper that they put on the car less than two years prior. The caliper was under warranty but I would have to pay for everything else: rotors, pads, and a flush. This was frustrating as it was a part they ordered and installed, that caused damage to a rotor and brake pads. After taking my car back and thinking on it for a while I decided to go back with my father who knew a lot more about cars than I did (to avoid getting told I don't know anything). When we tried to talk to Rob at the front desk, he was very matter of fact and didn't really bother to explain anything or try to understand our frustration. Eventually an argument ensued between Rob and my father and Rob got up from behind his desk an into my father's face. I've worked in customer service for 4 years and know that the last thing you should do is escalate a situation. Rob did exactly that. Fortunately, Rick was overhearing the situation and called us to his back room. Rob was staring at us through the window still heated from the argument, and Rick had to shut the blinds. Rick was kind, understanding, and made us feel we were being heard. No escalation; no arguing. Only a friendly smile, and an explanation. He generously called the supplier who they bought the part from and they covered the cost of all parts that would be needed to fix the brakes, all I was charged for was an hours worth of labor. Thank you Rick, for being so kind and understanding, and for making an effort to solve the issue. Overall, my experience was not great. I didn't have a car for a week, repairs and inspections were each supposed to take 2 hours and ended up taking 12+, and I had to find last minute rides to work and home. When the people at the front desk would say they would call me with an update when they talked to their repairman, they never did and I had to call them the next morning when they opened. Before my car was repaired I had to sign forms saying I understood my car was unsafe to drive after they inspected it and any frustration I expressed was dismissed by the people at the front desk. read more

I wanted to share my experience as I feel it would benefit those who may want to use them in the future. I had used them prior to this review at which I gave them a 5 start review because I left happy with work. I had my car towed to them on April 20th this year because I car wouldn't start, they are a busy shop so when they told me that couldn't look at it for 2 weeks I told them that was fine, (my car was needed to return to them anyway for an oil leak check anyway around the same time.) Roughly two weeks later I got a call with a verbal break down of the issues and a hard copy via email with the work to be done and the cost, although pretty high I gave the go ahead. The problems started to arise when I was not getting proper communication from them on the status and so I was the one to be calling weekly for an update and each time I was told it should be ready the following week. The week passes and no call yet so I call again, same story, hit a snag or techs were sick and it will be the following week, repeat this for a month when I get a call that they made a big mistake when reassembling the head and they stripped a bolt, this resulted in them needed to replace the entire engine (at their cost), I sympathize and asked how long they think that will take as I would need to have my car back somewhat soon, they gave me few more week estimate and I agree (not much choice since my car did not have an engine at that time) two weeks go by and no word yet, I call for an update, this time I received a bit of an attitude when I asked why they have not called to update me, to which the reply was "well I will just call you at the end of each day with an update whether there is one or not, will that work." I told them that would be excessive and a weekly update on Friday would be more appropriate just so I can be kept in the loop. Fast forward to June 18th when I was finally able to pay and pick up my car, The quote for the original repair was around $4,300, and I ended up paying $4,199, I am still unsure as to why I still paid that much when they had to replace the engine at their cost, I would understand paying just the labor up until the stripped bolt but I am not a mechanic and I am sure there is a reason. They told me to drive my car for 500 miles with the new engine and return it for an inspection to make sure it was working fine. During the period of the testing there were multiple issues showing up which I called and updated them on these issues and they said they would note each occurrence and address it when I take it in. Fast forward to the drop off day and I find out that none of the issues I had called about where not noted on the account. They said they would need the car for at least a day, maybe more, to make sure the have the time to address them. Thankfully they had it completed and ready the next day. I do agree that they charge a pretty high price for their services so I suggest you shop around, an example is I also needed to have my TPS sensors replaced and they quoted $714, Les Schwab did all 4 for $295. Very nice facility with professional people. Had our 32 foot motorhome in for routine service, oil changed, fluid levels and tire pressure checked. Belts and hoses etc. They fixed one suspicious brake line while flushing brake system. Was happy with the results we got. Should have given them 5 stars but I wanted brake calipers replaced but the shop wasn't equipped for something this big to lift it off the ground but for a smaller rig or any regular size car or truck I would definitely recommend them . They checked and documented their findings nicely and explained very well what they did and recommendations for future services. They covered the floor inside and parked the motorhome inside the building over night which was very much appreciated. Prices are very competitive for the times so I will use them again and refer others as well. Thieves! Replaced a transmission for a wiring issue. Flushed 4K down the drain.

November of 2019 I purchased a 2012 Toyota Sequoia from Graham's Auto. The purchase price was $2000 below the NADA retail price & Graham's would not budge from the their asking price of which I was OK with thinking the vehicle was in good shape. 1st, at the time of the purchase the tires needed replacement of which Graham's charged me $750 to replace, this vehicle should not have passed the safety inspection & put on the lot for sales with the original tires. When the the 1st tire rotation came due I found that the lug nuts were torqued so tight that I was unable to brake the torque & had to take the vehicle to a locale shop for a tire rotation, there, the mechanic told me that he could not brake the torque of the lug nuts with a impact gun & had to use 3/4" breaker bar with a extension to break the torque. Now the 2nd rotation I have to replace all lug nuts due to the over torque, also I now have a braking vibration which means warped rotors caused by the over torque of the lug nuts. 2nd, within 4 months I had to replace the power steering pump & a steering column universal joint, OK, that's a risk of buying a used vehicle. 3rd, I mentioned that I purchased this vehicle in November, the following April I rolled down the tail gate window for the 1st time & you guessed it - it would not go back up so I returned it to Graham's & they charged me another $750 to repair something which should have been found on their safety inspection. My suggestion is BUYER BEWARE!!, if you are considering purchasing a vehicle Graham's I wouldn't do so without an inspection from a independent mechanic & some good luck. read more

My son took his car here for a scheduled fluid change per his owner's manual. He specifically told them which services he wanted done before he dropped it off. On the day he left it, he was told that if it needed new spark plugs, the bill could run upwards of $800. But, he was also told that they would call him before doing the spark plugs. When my son told his father that, he said the repair shop was overcharging him for an unnecessary service. Later that day my son called to find out if his car was finished, only to find out not only was it finished; but they said they did change the spark plugs (without calling for approval first) and his bill would be $881. The next day my husband went with my son to contest the charges. Both the manager and the owner denied ever saying they would call first and said our son had signed a release when he dropped off his car. Do not do business with this company. read more

This was my first time using Graham Auto Repair, because my car had failed an emissions test. The staff was very friendly and relaxed, making me feel right at home. I was especially surprised at how clean and "feng shui'd" the waiting area was. Very warm and inviting. They give you complimentary rides to/from home if you live 5-10 miles away, if your repair will take a while. The prices are great. I will definitely be using their services, in the future! read more

Rick and the staff are wonderful to work with. Our son had his alternator replaced on his Ford focus back in October. A week ago he had issues with his battery not recharging. We took the car back into them to find out it was a faulty alternator from the manufacturer. Rick took care of the replacement under warranty without any questions. If you haven't been to their new shop it is a nice clean shop with warm environment. It is also nice to be able to support businesses in our local community. I took my 2006 Cadillac CTS into Graham Auto Repair a month ago and talked to Rob to have a diagnostic ran on it, since it wouldn't turn over and the key was stuck in the ignition. Now I don't know everything about my car and I do watch some youtube videos to fix a few things, but when it came to this I was perplexed and wanted the "pros" to get it back running. They called me later that day and told me I had a bad ECM and said it would cost $1800 to get it fixed. Now that was towing, diagnostic, parts ($900 just for the ECM), and labor. I agreed to the charges cause I needed my car, stupid me..... I wasn't happy about the price and even called them later, once I looked at Rockauto and the ECM was $350 w/o the core. But they said that I could not buy the part and have them install it because of warranty issues, which btw if I remember correct was something ridiculous like 90 days and the part doesn't say any warranty on my receipt. Anyways, I go to pick up my car and it fires right up! Awesome! I'm back in business loved it! GReat! I go home. The next day(Saturday) I go out to my car and it doesn't start up.... Same issues I was having before... I'm pissed.. Did I just throw away $1800 and my car is not even fixed? "The voice my head says 'YES'". I try to start my car all weekend, but nothing. So I go back in to the shop and told Rob that Saturday I went out and my car still wouldn't start. I asked that they have it towed at no cost to me and take a look at it again as I just spent $1800 with them. Rob told me they would not be able to do that and that they would charge me another $100 for the tow as well as another $100 for the diagnostic to try to figure out what they were suppose to figure out in the beginning. Of course, I refused, I mean how could I trust them to do the job right when they already extorted me for $1800 the first time. Ends up being a bad starter that I paid $150 for the part and $100 to have a mobile mechanic install. The issue with the key not coming out is part of the car's anti-theft. So, MORAL of the story is if you plan to do business here please make sure you get more opinions then just their's. Check the BBB website for accredited shops, I went to Yourmechanic.com which actually turned out great! Don't make the same mistake and get bamboozled like I did. i was very hesitant to bring my truck into graham auto repair as ive had previous issues in the past and other peoples experiences. well i decided to anyways as they had an opening appointment. i took my truck in with a few thigs i needed to find out what was wrong. i always examin emy entire vehicle before leaving it somewhere. after about a day and a half i got a call with a quote on a couple things that needed to be done. i decided to do them all as it was better then bringing it back another time. they noticed i had a full bottle of anti freeze, that i was going to put in before i needed some repairs. i told them it was ok to use mine. well, this is where the horrible experience happened. i get the call the truck is ready for pick up. they didnt even do all the repairs that were discussed over the phone. now leaving me to make yet another appointment and miss more work. second, they used my antifreeze and charged me!!! how is that ok?? and the final straw... when i picked up my vehicle there were 2 huge gauged paint scratches across the driver door. two!! and very noticeable. i went in to see what happened as we did a walk through prior and was told the manager would review cameras and get back to me. 5 days in a row i called to get a follow up and was never contacted or anything. every time i called i would get the run around. no apology or ill see whats going on with looking. they were rude and have poor/horrible customer service. we will make sure to never return and inform all our friends and family that use your shop to look elsewhere as it seems your customers are not a high priority. if i could give zero stars i would!! read more
