Joy, this is what this hotel brought for a whole weekend. Pulled in and valet. It was perfect your allowed in and out access with no additional fee. Check in is easy and there's a bell guy to help with luggage. The entrance is beautiful with a million bulbs over the bar. They have the cutest ice cream shop that also serves sandwi he's, parfaits, croissants, empanadas, and more. There's a cute shop for all your essentials or a cute summer outfit. Let's not forget the Chez Gaston restaurant too. Be sure to try the poke..its delish. Now the rooms are so spacious, love the decor and comfy beds. We had a view of the bay and sunsets. There's ice machines on every floor, your fridge comes stocked with some treats along with the bar and bathroom toiletries all for purchase. There are 2 pools, the adult rooftop pool and the ground floor pool for all hotel guests. Your stay comes with seats and an umbrella on the beach and you can order food and drinks while relaxing. Now the only cons I found were the rooftop pool bar was never open each time we went and there is no shaelde or music. The ground pool has a bar but closes at 6pm BUT there is no music, no deejay and I think if they did add music this hotel would be 5 star...hint hint guys..get to the music. Other than that we had a fabulous time and enjoyed all the amenities they offered.

Day Pass review! Purchased a $75 weekend day pass to grand beach hotel and it did not disappoint! First of all, what hotel in Miami Beach includes the comfy beach chairs and umbrella for under $100?! It was not just a pool pass but full access to all their amenities! I was expecting it to be overcrowded with a sold out day pass but to my pleasant surprise, it was not.. I was set up front row, with stunning view of Miami Beach with sparkling crystal clear blue water and white sand! The service at the beach was initially great although they fell off a bit later as the day went on and weren't checking in as much. I had a piña colada and shrimp mango salad for lunch- both tasteful! The brief menu had well rounded options for drinks and lunch. The hotel offers two pools and 2 hot tubs downstairs and adults only rooftop pool and hot tub. Both pools have bars and plenty of options for seating with breath taking views of the intracoastal and the ocean. Nestled under the palms, you can also find a shady break on the hammocks. After enjoying the sun all day, be sure to stop by and grab ice cream at the ice cream shop! There was also bars/restaurants inside. The valet is discounted for $12. Overall, wonderful experience and look forward to returning!

Please take us back to Grand Beach Hotel! I had the pleasure to enjoy a dreamy weekend escape at the Grand Hotel Beach with my wife and friends. Tucked away on a stretch of over 200 feet of pristine white sand along the Atlantic, this hotel feels like a tropical oasis while still keeping you close to everything South Beach has to offer. The location alone is unbeatable, but the real magic is in the details. There's something genuinely special about the private, boutique vibe here, it's upscale without being stuffy, and peaceful even when fully booked. Whether you're here to relax or recharge, they've got you covered. There are three pools to choose from, two family-friendly options at beach level and one adults-only tranquility pool perched on the top floor (pro tip: this one is a dream at sunset). And if you like to keep up with your workouts, the state-of-the-art gym offers panoramic views that make it easy to forget you're sweating. Oh, and don't miss the two hot tubs, perfect for unwinding after a beach day or some time exploring the city. All in all, Grand Beach Hotel feels like your own private slice of luxury in the heart of South Beach. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or with the whole crew, there's something here for everyone, and it all comes with a view.

My family has stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel previously and had positive experiences; however, this stay was completely different. I have stayed at many two- and three-star hotels that are far nicer, better maintained, and better managed than this property. The only pleasant employee we encountered on the entire resort was the gentleman who works at the indoor bar. I will never be staying here again. Save your money and stay somewhere else. It seemed that nearly every other guest at the hotel was expressing the same frustrations and openly complaining about their experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff member who checked us in was extremely rude. When we asked to speak with a manager regarding the name on the bill, she responded with clear attitude, which was then reinforced by the manager as well. The restaurant and bar provided the worst service I have ever experienced, and the food was absolutely terrible. They also add tip to the bill in the sneakiest way possible. So all week we tipped double for awful service. The rooms are worn down, with visible cracks in the showers and unacceptable cleanliness issues. We hoped the location would compensate for these deficiencies, but it did not. By 8:00 a.m., there were no available pool chairs, despite many being left unattended, and staff stated there was nothing they could do. We then went to the beach, where guests were not allowed to use umbrellas in 85-degree weather because they were deemed a "liability in the wind," despite there being no wind at all. Every other hotel along the beach had umbrellas in use, making this policy even more unreasonable. As a result, the beach was uncomfortable, and we ended up returning to our room. To make matters worse, the pools close "at sunset," which is absurd considering sunset is currently around 6:00 p.m. in Miami. It is clear that this hotel has little concern for its guests or for providing a pleasant or enjoyable experience.

We stayed here during our visit to Miami. We arrived way before the check-in time (4pm) but we were able to drop off our bags and explore the area. This hotel is located in South Beach steps away from the beach where they also have beach chairs out for use. Our room was the bay suite with a king bed. It had two bathrooms which was rare and very nice. The views were great on our balcony with Biscayne Bay on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Other amenities included a gym, two pools with a pool bar, another adults-only pool on the 7th floor, a hotel bar in the lobby, a station for coffee, pastries, and dessert, and a small shop. Unfortunately there's no complimentary breakfast but there's a restaurant on the lobby floor that serves breakfast. It was a nice hotel aesthetically but the finishes were a little old and not great in some parts of the hotel room. The hotel was in a nice location as it was conveniently located near South Beach and downtown Miami.

For $500-600 a night this place had to have a wow factor. The outside amenities did. It was one hunnit. The beach access was magical and easily accessible to the beach. They had plenty of space and the staff helped you put up these cute pink beach chairs that complimented the blue waters and white sand. The food though was a lot of a little pricey. 3 tiny, minuscule, microscopic empanadas for $14. The pina coladas were however worth the price, as it was a perfect compliment while I laid out on the beach chairs. The pool near the hotel were heated and there was also a nice play area for the kids. Once again spending around $200 for lunch for 3 mini entrees was somewhat laughable. Definitely paying for the location and amenities, which, do not get me wrong were 10/10 and would def recommend. I thoroughly enjoyed the clean beach, the attentive staff, and the private beach area weeded out from the public crowd.

Beautiful hotel! I think the 1-star reviews were harsh and had nothing to do with the actual hotel/rooms/dining/amenities/experience. We celebrated our anniversary here . Chez Gaston restaurant was delicious but pricey. But it was definitely worth it. Great beach and pool area .

    Kislev A.

We got an awesome room with a balcony, two bathrooms a couch, and two TVs. On the balcony, we were able to watch the sun rise and the skies change colors during the sunset. Has a beach access at the back. Has a great coffee bar that sells light breakfasts. Good sized pool with lots of pool recliners and towels in the closet.

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

If you're considering booking Loews Miami Beach Hotel, do it. I was torn between this hotel and 1 Hotel South Beach, but ultimately Loews was the more cost-effective choice, and I'm so glad I chose it. Are there more families with children here? Yes. But honestly, the location, beautiful pool, and being just steps from the beach made this stay 100% worth it. The convenience and overall experience were unbeatable. A special shout-out to Caitlyn, who checked us in and went above and beyond. She was truly an A-star front desk agent -- warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She was the cherry on top of an already incredible stay. She even went out of her way to leave us a little dessert to celebrate one of our birthdays. That level of thoughtfulness and hospitality is what makes a stay memorable. Our servers and bartenders were also polite, professional, and engaging throughout our visit. Whoever is responsible for hiring and training this team deserves recognition -- the hotel staff truly elevated the entire experience.

The hotel's interior was truly beautiful, featuring a grand fountain that used to be a centerpiece. However, the Thai hotel next door left no water for the fountain, giving it a rather dormat-like appearance. We would often venture outside to admire the hotel's beautiful garden, which was lit up with candles and had a stunning swimming pool outside the lounge bar. Unfortunately, the bar itself was too dark, leaving everything in shadow. Despite this, the rooftop restaurant served delicious Brazilian cuisine and had friendly customer service! We were glad we never stayed at the hotel only to visit when we could while we lived in Miami before we moved out of the country for great decades!

The staff were generally friendly, and a few were especially helpful. They handled three packages I had shipped to the hotel efficiently, though there was a sizable per-package fee. Small touches like afternoon boozy gelato samples and a lobby change machine for breaking $20s into $5s were appreciated. Breakfast at Lolo's was decent. My Marriott status included breakfast for two, though the included menu was much shorter than the regular one and the portions were modest. Still, the food was cooked to order, tasted good, and the servers kindly let me order both breakfasts since I was traveling alone. I didn't try the Japanese restaurant on site, but I heard good things and enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants instead, especially La Grande Boucherie. I paid a substantial premium for an oceanfront double room, but I'm not sure I would do that again. The balcony and glass door were fairly small, and the balcony felt boxed in for privacy. Next time I might prefer a cheaper park-side room on a higher floor, which could still offer a nice park and ocean view. The biggest disappointment was the late checkout. My Marriott Platinum Elite status is supposed to include guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, but the hotel would not honor it. Each day I was told to check again later, and in the end they could only offer 1 p.m. That created real scheduling problems, since I had planned around the advertised benefit. With no good place in the hotel to work or take calls after checkout, I ended up going to the airport hours early. The status is supposed to provide a room upgrade, but that wasn't available either. A couple of other issues matched complaints I had seen in recent reviews. One elevator stopped for several minutes with a group of us inside and did not respond to the buttons, which was uncomfortable even though the door eventually opened. I also received a call inviting me downstairs for a "welcome gift," which turned out to be a Marriott Vacation Club sales pitch. That should be presented more honestly. Overall, this was a decent stay and I might return. But given the failure to honor the guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, I would compare other options carefully before booking again.

We spent the afternoon by the pool, enjoying drinks and snacks, which were delicious and the perfect way to relax. Later, we headed to Happy Hour at Lido, and it was fantastic. The entire property has a laid-back luxury feel, with beautiful landscaping, comfortable seating areas, and amazing views. The rooms have been thoughtfully re-designed, but still have that cold Miami cinder block feel. In other words you won't do more than sleep in them. The pool area is fantastic with a bay view and plenty of chairs. Lido Grill, the main restaurant, is nicely done and people / pet friendly. Service was good, once you got their attention, which was on you, not them...we had the lobster, fairly priced at $39, but was like rubber and inedible. Sides were a throw away. Drinks were very good. Other points, nice mini bar in room, however NO coffee in room and coffee shop doesn't open until 7 AM. The kind of place where…read moreyou walk into the lobby and instantly feel like you've stepped into a glossy magazine spread. High ceilings, marble everywhere, and a buzz that tells you you're in the right place. What impressed me most? There's genuinely plenty to do for all ages, which is not something you can say about every Miami resort. Whether you're traveling with kids, teens, adults, or a multigenerational crew, everyone finds their lane here. The pool scene is the heartbeat of the property. Multiple pools, each with its own personality -- family-friendly areas with space to splash, quieter corners for lounging, and the high-energy spots where the music and cocktails flow. Service was dialed in across the board: fast, friendly, and always one step ahead. Rooms were spotless and stylish, with balconies that make you want to order room service just to soak in the view a little longer. Housekeeping kept everything crisp, and every request was met with that effortless "of course" attitude. Dining is another standout. From quick bites to full-on fine dining, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the grab-and-go spots felt elevated. And if nightlife is your thing, you don't need to leave the property -- the energy here after dark is pure Miami. But if you're traveling with kids or just want a low-key night, the resort still feels comfortable and accessible. Fontainebleau nails that rare balance of iconic luxury and all-ages fun. It's bold, glamorous, and buzzing in all the right ways, yet still manages to be welcoming and easy to enjoy no matter who you're traveling with. A true Miami classic that continues to deliver. This is a tourist trap extraordinaire. It made me feel like I was paying to be in a place trying to extract from me, not serve me. And yes, I did complain twice to the front staff about these issues - to stony faces and lame excuses that were canned and code for "we don't care." The resort fee is $60/day (which is not made clear on Orbitz, where I booked it), yet when I went in February the pool and all outdoor facilities - which is what the resort fee pays for - closed at 6pm. We were told it closes at "sundown," even though they clearly have outdoor lights for the whole outside facility. Want to swim in the evening or night? Nope. All those pictures with the pool lit up? Not for you. And if you dare to be in the pool at 6:01, there were six staff for every one guest to tell you to get out. Seriously, we got warnings to get out at 10min to 6, 5min to 6, and at 6:00. Why every five minutes? Because a group of staff members were hovering over us, watching and waiting for the moment to kick us out. Very relaxing. You have to wear an armband everywhere you go. Staff are at every door as you go in or out - hotel to pool or pool to beach - monitoring you to produce it. Very relaxing. There is no coffee in the room, forcing you to travel across the whole huge facility (3 towers connected by long walks) to their coffee shop to pay $10 for a cup of coffee each morning. You could walk all the way back to your room, or - like me - you can try to drink it by the pool. But NO! You can't sit by the pool. Those seats and lounges require you to pay a fee, even in February when there was NO ONE there. If you don't want to pay, you can find a free lounge on the outer fringes. And if you try to sit without paying, there are staff to tell you to move immediately. Hovering, as usual. To get a lounge on the beach - in February, low season - we had to get in line to sign up for a chair and then get in a second line of 20-30 people and wait in the hot sun for an available, assigned chair and a staff person to take us there. Grab a chair and relax? Nope. It's a monitored system. When we checked out, the staff told us there were too many rooms to provide a coffee maker in each one. I guess their policy is to assume their guests are stupid.
