Great service, great food, and great local beer. We visited with a group of seven people and had a really good experience overall. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, the food was very good, and we enjoyed the local beer selection. Our server took excellent care of our group, was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of something we noticed with management. There appeared to be a supervisor or manager in the back who was being loud and rude toward employees, including our server. That was uncomfortable to hear and took away from an otherwise great visit. The staff did a great job, and they deserve to be treated with respect. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, service, beer, and atmosphere. Management could use some improvement, but the restaurant itself and the service we received were very good. read more

Williams actually had a lot of good choices for trying new restaurants, but we returned to Cruisers instead because we looked it so much last time we came. The decor is definitely 50s gas station decor. There are traffic signs and car parts and old fashioned had pumps as decor. Even the bathroom stalls are made if old tailgates. The smoker is out front where there is patio seating, and live music today. Inside there is a bar. The menu has burgers and barbecue. Hubby decided on a Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich which was served with fries. They do not skimp on toppings! He said it was really good. I wanted something a little smaller and ordered the Fully Loaded Baked Potato, which was a very big baked potato topped with butter, sour cream, pulled pork, and smoked brisket. It was delish--especially the brisket! Okie server was great--very friendly and helpful when I asked about smaller portion choices. Cruisers is a great choice when I'm Williams. My family and I stopped by Cruiser's Café 66 after spending the day exploring Arizona and traveling along Route 66, and it was exactly what we needed. Located right in the heart of Williams, the area is super cute and full of charm. We were looking for a place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a hot meal after a long day of traveling. The service was great--our waitress was friendly and attentive, and although the food took a little while to come out, it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and the green chile burrito, and everything was delicious. To finish off our meal, we ordered ice cream, and wow--the portions are HUGE! One ice cream could easily be shared between 2-3 people, so I'd definitely recommend sharing unless you're really hungry. The atmosphere was one of our favorite parts. The restaurant has fun 1950s diner vibes with lots of great photo opportunities throughout. There's also a small arcade area and a gift shop attached to the restaurant with tons of cool Route 66 souvenirs and merchandise. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and honestly couldn't find anything to complain about. It provided the much-needed food, rest, and break we were looking for during our travels. Let's just start with the look of Cruisers... it's the perfect time machine , bringing you back in time to drive-in diners. The booths, decor amd even the bathrooms have the theme. Service was great! Our waitress had good timing and was also very knowledgeable about specific dietary needs that one of us presented and made suggestions . The food was delicious all around. Stumbled upon this place while passing through Williams. The outside decor (and smell from the smoker) caught our attention so we dined in. The atmosphere is fun, complete with 50s and 60s themed decs. Good menu overall with a self-serve fountain machine. My brisket plate was really tasty and filling. My wife enjoyed her French dip sandwich, which came with lots of fries. One of my daughter's got mac n cheese, which appeared to be straight out of a box. Disappointed they cut corners here. Ice cream for dessert was a nice finish, and the attached gift shops were fun to browse around at. Service was attentive and timely. Good experience overall. read more

Cruisers cafe has a nice outdoor seating area that will draw you in especially in the evening when it's all lit up. Great 50's style diner vibe on the inside with lots of gas and oil signage on the walls. Food was good and very reasonably priced, we ordered a bbq sampler, a bowl of chili and a cobb salad. Cobb salad was a ton of food and very good and quite a bargain at 13$. BBQ sampler was tasty- pulled pork, brisket, ribs and sausage with small sides of cole slaw , potato salad and chili. Chili was very good and the service was excellent , i would definitely eat here again !! read more

We stopped into Cruiser's Cafe on a Tuesday afternoon with a party of seven and were seated immediately. Service was great right from the start, which is always a relief when you roll in with a small army of kids. The kids all loved their BBQ pork sandwiches, and the adults ordered the green chile burgers and the BBQ sampler. The burger was mid at best, but the onion rings were fire. Seriously, those things were the star of the burger plate. (Up charge) French fries were mediocre. The BBQ sampler, though, was fantastic. The brisket was especially good and definitely the highlight. The beans, coleslaw, and potato salad were all really tasty. The coleslaw even had apples in it, which we had never had before. It was a pleasant surprise and a nice change from the usual. My only real complaint was the soda fountain. It's about $5 for "endless fountain drinks," but honestly you'll probably only want one because it just didn't taste very good. Overall, it's a cute, clean little Route 66 spot and a fun stop for the experience while passing through Williams. read more

The decor is cute, but that is the only thing this place has going for it. We stopped it because it had been recommended by someone who'd been to William's years ago. We were a little shocked by the price given the type of food, $40 for a BBQ sampler plate is asking too much. We settled on the pulled pork sandwich and when it arrived, it was missing the toppings listed on the menu. We asked our server who said "oh I've heard of this happening, I think they are changing the menu" but got us the toppings on the side anyways. The sandwhich ultimately tasted like a sloppy Joe sandwich. Between the price, missing items, and poor quality, it's a cute place to look at but we would not go back to eat again. read more

So while we are in town, we went to find someplace to eat and the first place we went, the wait was very long and we were very hungry and tired so we just stopped by this place even though the reviews are low. I didn't expect much but I will tell you my honest review. The great part was that we got seated right away inside. The decor is super fun and super route 66 vibes and that was cool. Service was good not awesome. The menu was very standard diner food nothing too exciting. But it's diner food so that's what you expect. Our food came very quickly and that was also great. I ordered the loaded potato with pulled pork. It was OK. My husband ordered the chicken grilled sandwich with french fries and OK. And my son got the chicken tenders and fries. The fries are really really good. But overall, I would say this is just diner food. It'll fill you up, but you're not gonna really walk away happy with the quality of food and the taste. Have you started the return of Beef Back ribs? We use to travel down from Hwy 80 to 40 so we would pass thru Williams, just for the Beef Back Ribs. We always pushed our schedule a day or 2, just to stay in thousand doWilliams an extra day during our NFR finals. When we went home, we would come back thru Willams 1000 for another couple days. That is what made CruiserCafe attractable. We would travel a couple hundred miles off course just for that. Last time we were there, no Beef Back Ribs. Still on the GC tour with the 16 old folks from the Central Coast I'd been here in Williams back when Covid had most of the world shut down. Today that was not the case, our fearless leader took us to a closed forever business for dinner. I remembered a cool burger place around here somewhere and as I stopped at the light there it was...hop diggity dog! I managed to find a long enough parking spot and there I stopped. Here it is folks "Best Burger in Town" I hollered ! They were greeted with a cowboy playing his guitar, perfect. They took to the tables and sat themselves down. I passed out some menus and headed to the bar inside. I didn't want a drink I wanted to get my burger order in before the kitchen was slammed. It worked, I ordered a bacon & cheddar burger with fries please, got me a Redbull to give me some wiings too. My burger was up hot and fresh with very hot fries. Giddy Up and down it went, thank you. The food was great, fresh and hot and fast service. I'd thrown in another star but honestly looks are important too. We went in May at lunch time. The sign said to wait to be seated, so we waited a while until someone noticed us. The service was poor overall, with no smiles or "thank yous" throughout our stay, and everything taking a long time. The restaurant was about 1/3 full. The decor is decent. It is too big inside to feel cozy, and the black ceilings mean it isn't bright, either, but it still has basic diner vibes. The music is great: classic rock. Drinks: during our visit, they had 8 beers on tap, and 5 of those were sold out. The remaining 3 taps were pouring only head. We watched with amusement as servers would pour several glasses full of head, leave for a while until it fizzed down, then pour those glasses together to create one full glass of beer. The soft drinks were self-service. The food was fine but expensive. My burger was served with "onion ring," singular, which was microscopic. Burgers hover around 18 to $20, and mine was dry. Kids meal with no drink was $11, and my child spit out the mac n cheese: something I've never seen before or since. Overall, we tried to stay positive and have some laughs about it, but I would absolutely never go back or recommend the place. read more

I went to get a drink refill and a busser cleared my food into the bus tub. I left my phone at the table with half my food to show I was coming back. This restaurant has great vibes with its beautiful decor and live music, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. When we asked for a high chair, the one they brought over was so dirty, with old food caked all over it. It was so bad we even had to grab a blanket from our car to cover it before placing our child in it. The food was overpriced; the fries were served cold, and the pulled pork sandwich was so runny that it was impossible to eat like a sandwich as it liquified the bread. Servers were aloof. Plus, the mustard on the table was expired by two months. Overall, we were pretty disappointed with our experience. This place has so much potential. Over the years when we come to Williams we always go here - sometimes twice. In the past it was great. This time was a bad experience. No draft beer, no iced tea. Brisket sandwich was dry. No taste. Burgers over cooked. Had to ask to find our server to get our bills as she hadn't come by to check on us. Like many we visited Williams to ride the GCR and wanted to grab a bite before heading to our hotel. We waited 45 minutes to be seated, then placed our orders right away hoping the food would be great. The mozzarella sticks and fries were cold, the brisket super tough and for a $28 plate the sides were skimpy. Even my teen was livid about the bill and lack of quality. Got the brisket sandwich and it was pretty damn good. Not dry at all, plenty of sauce, give you all the fixins' if you want them. I got the sweet potato fries and they brought it with what I thought was ranch, but it was some kind of marshmallow like sweet dipping sauce made for the sweet potato fries and boy was it delicious. The worst restaurant experience in a long time. After being seated, it to a long time before anyone even came to the table. Finally we had to ask for someone to come and take our order. Next...the restrooms were dirty. They had no soap. They had no toilet paper. We told them. We waited a few minutes. They weren't cleaned, but a role of toilet paper was set on the back of the toilet.
