Live music was being played on the outside patio. We chose to sit inside for a cooler and quieter place to eat. We were greeted quickly. Drinks are "self-serve" which made it convenient! My husband wanted to order the bbq chicken, but they were sold out, so he chose the French dip sandwich and onion rings. They were both delicious but the onion rings were some of the best we've ever had! Very tasty! I chose the loaded baked potato and it was very good- loaded with so much pork & brisket, cheese, and bbq sauce. They even had a gift shop with just about any touristy items you could ever want, including old metal signs! Great choice if you're in the area and centrally located on the main strip in Williams.

Williams actually had a lot of good choices for trying new restaurants, but we returned to Cruisers instead because we looked it so much last time we came. The decor is definitely 50s gas station decor. There are traffic signs and car parts and old fashioned had pumps as decor. Even the bathroom stalls are made if old tailgates. The smoker is out front where there is patio seating, and live music today. Inside there is a bar. The menu has burgers and barbecue. Hubby decided on a Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich which was served with fries. They do not skimp on toppings! He said it was really good. I wanted something a little smaller and ordered the Fully Loaded Baked Potato, which was a very big baked potato topped with butter, sour cream, pulled pork, and smoked brisket. It was delish--especially the brisket! Okie server was great--very friendly and helpful when I asked about smaller portion choices. Cruisers is a great choice when I'm Williams. I always say I'll try someplace new, but keep being called back here

My family and I stopped by Cruiser's Café 66 after spending the day exploring Arizona and traveling along Route 66, and it was exactly what we needed. Located right in the heart of Williams, the area is super cute and full of charm. We were looking for a place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a hot meal after a long day of traveling. The service was great--our waitress was friendly and attentive, and although the food took a little while to come out, it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and the green chile burrito, and everything was delicious. To finish off our meal, we ordered ice cream, and wow--the portions are HUGE! One ice cream could easily be shared between 2-3 people, so I'd definitely recommend sharing unless you're really hungry. The atmosphere was one of our favorite parts. The restaurant has fun 1950s diner vibes with lots of great photo opportunities throughout. There's also a small arcade area and a gift shop attached to the restaurant with tons of cool Route 66 souvenirs and merchandise. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and honestly couldn't find anything to complain about. It provided the much-needed food, rest, and break we were looking for during our travels. We'd definitely stop here again the next time we're in Williams! Highly recommend for anyone passing through Route 66.

Cruisers cafe has a nice outdoor seating area that will draw you in especially in the evening when it's all lit up. Great 50's style diner vibe on the inside with lots of gas and oil signage on the walls. Food was good and very reasonably priced, we ordered a bbq sampler, a bowl of chili and a cobb salad. Cobb salad was a ton of food and very good and quite a bargain at 13$. BBQ sampler was tasty- pulled pork, brisket, ribs and sausage with small sides of cole slaw , potato salad and chili. Chili was very good and the service was excellent , i would definitely eat here again !!

Good portion sizes and reasonably priced, nothing special. Service was okay, server took our order and brought us our food but didn't check in again till we called him over to get the check. Located in a cutesy town with a bunch of shops.

Nice evening weather for dinner outside.

I'm glad we stopped here for dinner! We got cheeseburgers, kids hotdog & chicken tenders. It were delicious, with quick service! We sat outside on an evening with live music, which was a lot of fun. Would recommend this spot if you're staying in Williams before or after a train ride to the Grand Canyon!

    The diner.

Let's just start with the look of Cruisers... it's the perfect time machine , bringing you back in time to drive-in diners. The booths, decor amd even the bathrooms have the theme. Service was great! Our waitress had good timing and was also very knowledgeable about specific dietary needs that one of us presented and made suggestions . The food was delicious all around. The BEST part came with the sweet potato fries.... A cinnamon marshmellow fluff dip!!!!!OMG!! It was like eatting a churro but WAY BETTER. What an amazing dinner and treat! Go there! Order the sweet potatoes-- you won't regret it.

We stopped into Cruiser's Cafe on a Tuesday afternoon with a party of seven and were seated immediately. Service was great right from the start, which is always a relief when you roll in with a small army of kids. The kids all loved their BBQ pork sandwiches, and the adults ordered the green chile burgers and the BBQ sampler. The burger was mid at best, but the onion rings were fire. Seriously, those things were the star of the burger plate. (Up charge) French fries were mediocre. The BBQ sampler, though, was fantastic. The brisket was especially good and definitely the highlight. The beans, coleslaw, and potato salad were all really tasty. The coleslaw even had apples in it, which we had never had before. It was a pleasant surprise and a nice change from the usual. My only real complaint was the soda fountain. It's about $5 for "endless fountain drinks," but honestly you'll probably only want one because it just didn't taste very good. Overall, it's a cute, clean little Route 66 spot and a fun stop for the experience while passing through Williams.

The decor is cute, but that is the only thing this place has going for it. We stopped it because it had been recommended by someone who'd been to William's years ago. We were a little shocked by the price given the type of food, $40 for a BBQ sampler plate is asking too much. We settled on the pulled pork sandwich and when it arrived, it was missing the toppings listed on the menu. We asked our server who said "oh I've heard of this happening, I think they are changing the menu" but got us the toppings on the side anyways. The sandwhich ultimately tasted like a sloppy Joe sandwich. Between the price, missing items, and poor quality, it's a cute place to look at but we would not go back to eat again.

So while we are in town, we went to find someplace to eat and the first place we went, the wait was very long and we were very hungry and tired so we just stopped by this place even though the reviews are low. I didn't expect much but I will tell you my honest review. The great part was that we got seated right away inside. The decor is super fun and super route 66 vibes and that was cool. Service was good not awesome. The menu was very standard diner food nothing too exciting. But it's diner food so that's what you expect. Our food came very quickly and that was also great. I ordered the loaded potato with pulled pork. It was OK. My husband ordered the chicken grilled sandwich with french fries and OK. And my son got the chicken tenders and fries. The fries are really really good. But overall, I would say this is just diner food. It'll fill you up, but you're not gonna really walk away happy with the quality of food and the taste. But it is what it is is what I said.

It wasn't a total waste but it definitely seems like things have changed since the rave barbecue reviews... We came in the early afternoon after a day of driving through monsoons with a toddler. The location is right as you drive into town, super welcoming, and very kid friendly - tons of contained outdoor play space, with lawn games, a mining area, a sasquatch statue for photos, and tons of covered seating. They even have wifi for me to get some work done. All plusses! Things took a steep turn when we went to order. After waiting in line, there is a tiny sign at the register that they are out of several products - no pulled chicken, pulled pork, texas twinkies, or wings. The last two were going to be in my order, so we did a quick pivot for a Partner Platter for $45, with ribs, brisket, sausage, mac and cheese, and beans. It should have been a red flag that they didn't ask if I wanted lean or fatty cut brisket. What arrived was a mess. My husband asked what proteins I got because it wasn't visually evident. The ribs had a bark on them that was 2/3rds of the way to jerky. The brisket was so shredded and dry, even their three house sauces couldn't save it. The sausage was served split and cut side town, because it too was dry AF. I hate letting protein go to waste but these were awful. Sides were fine, my toddler inhaled half the macaroni and the beans were okay. Cornbread has a bit of jalapeno in it, which I prefer over sweeter versions that are more common. But damn, this was a $50+ meal that basically fed a two year old. Service throughout was super friendly. It's not the food runner's fault that the kitchen is serving up dried out proteins and I am understanding about the fact that their walk in supposedly crapped out (the explanation we were given for so many items being unavailable). None of the other customers seemed visibly upset by their food quality, but I gradually noticed most people were ordering burgers, so maybe we ordered wrong. But if this is the norm for the barbecue they serve, they need to take it off the menu altogether. Great spot for kids to play and to stretch your legs after a long drive, or to enjoy the nice weather - but maybe just grab drinks or apps.

The setup is counter-service, and one thing that caught me off guard was being asked to choose whether we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs before we'd even seen either area. I picked upstairs, but after getting up there, I probably would have preferred downstairs. The upstairs bar was closed, which made the space feel a little empty. Food-wise, everything was just... mid. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with fries. The burger itself was fine, but there wasn't much flavor. The pulled pork on top was absolutely drenched in BBQ sauce that tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bottle, and it completely overpowered everything else. The fries arrived room temperature and bland. I ended up covering them in salt and dipping them in ketchup, which I rarely do. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The mac and cheese didn't taste fresh, wasn't very hot, and was lacking flavor. The chicken was decent, and the bread on the side was okay, but nothing stood out. The one thing I really did enjoy was the theming. The restaurant fits the Bearizona atmosphere well, and I appreciated the rustic lodge feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The ingredients felt low quality, and there wasn't any exceptional service to make up for it. If we visit Bearizona again, we'll probably eat in town before heading to the park. I'm glad we tried it once, but once was enough.

The space still has that nice rustic charm with plenty of seating inside and outside on their nice patio. Ordering, however, has changed. Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. I don't know when they decided to get rid of waiters and put all the pressure onto the bartender, but geez what an awful decision that was.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a quick service type set up You order at the counter, and then they bring your food to you. We asked what the turnaround time was, and the gentleman said about a half an hour. As I mentioned, the entire town was busy, so we decided to stay for lunch. Everything on the menu sounded good, but We decided to split the hog pizza, With. Tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, italian sausage and salami. They use a woodfired oven, which makes for a much higher quality pie.... Our food came at almost exactly a half an hour. It was a very decent sized pizza. The crust was perfect, and it was also a good quality, tomato sauce, with just a little bit of a "tang" to it. They were generous with the cheese and the meats, and you could tell that they were using a very good quality meat. It was an excellent pizza. They had a couple of "Arizona gunslinger" hot sauces is on the table. I didn't care for the red sauce, but I loved the green sauce. It's a jalapeño based sauce, but the jalapeño didn't take over the rest of the sauce. It had a complex slightly sweet flavor, and not too much of a "kick". It said "smokin ' hot" on the bottle, but it wasn't all heat. The complex flavor played very well with the heat I liked it so much, I asked if they sold it in their gift shop, and they said no, but there was a shop a couple of doors down that carries it. I wish I would remember the name of the shop. It was your standard gift shop, but they had a huge selection of hot sauces available I got my bottle, and I'm glad I brought it home. I love this stuff. I hear that you can also buy it in grocery stores around Arizona. The price for the pizza was extremely reasonable, for all we got, and as I mentioned, this place has a gift shop, as well as a full bar. This is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Thanks.

He greeted us as we walked in and told us we could grab a menu and come up to order with him when ready. We ordered one salad, a drink, and a salad. We placed our order with him at the front counter and he checked us out right away. The salad was brought out fast. The server was nice and asked if we needed anything else as he also brought out the pizza a few minutes later. The salad was good and we made sure to finish it all. It was cold, crisp, and had the right amount of toppings and dressing. The pizza was served hot and had the perfect amount of toppings. The food was all enough to spilt between us three.

The breakfast food was cooked to perfection, and they had the best rye bread I have ever tasted. Only wish they would have known more about it so that I could have gone and gotten some to take home, or at least stocked where I could find it in the future. The staff was on-point and very friendly. It was not loud, so that is always a plus.

I really liked the Ma/Pa restaurant feel, which gave it that homemade, comfort feel. Inside, they had a small souvenir shop with nicknacks, hats, shirts, cups, and more. They also serve homemade desserts like keyline pies, large cookies, banana bread, and more! The staff were very friendly, kind, and always attended to us when needed. I had a traditional type breakfast plate with a side of biscuits and gravy. It all came together with eggs, hash browns bacon, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. The food was great. The eggs were a little bland, but nothing bad. The bacon could have been a little more crispy. My fave from the whole plate was the biscuits and gravy! It had good flavor to it and the biscuits tasted fresh and soft, like they were homemade! Later that evening, we were craving chicken wings for dinner. When we checked Yelp for places with chicken wings, this place appeared with positive comments about the wings. So we ordered to-go from here for dinner. We had bbq chicken wings, French fries, and fried zucchini. The chicken wings were great very saucy, which I like! The zucchini pieces could have used a little flavor. Though they were fried perfectly and tasted fresh when ate them, they probably could have used a little more salt or something. It seemed a little bland to my taste, but overall they were delicious! Portions for both breakfast and dinner were huge! So come hungry! Overall, the service and food were great! Definitely worth a try if you're a first timer. Thank you for the great service and food!

The restaurant is cozy, clean, and well appointed. I loved the fresh tablecloths for each new guest. I also loved the starched red napkins. I had a blackberry old fashioned and my wife had a pomegranate martini. Both were balanced and fair pours. The Old Fashioned could have been mixed with ice before hitting the glass, but I am picky that way. We both had ribeye steaks and the kitchen nailed the temps. The cuts were average and the seasoning was a bit light. Our sides were hot. We ended the meal with the Chocolate Trilogy dessert and it was scrumptious. The cocktails are superb and the food is very good. I felt that the pricing was pretty low compared to a major metro area steakhouse. The people were the best.

The restaurant is a bit more upscale than others in the area, but casual attire is still perfectly fine. You can really taste the quality of the food--it's a step above other places we've tried in Williams. My kids can be picky eaters, but they absolutely love the Chicken Parmigiana and baked lasagna and order them every time! As a family, we've enjoyed every dish we've tried here.
