Mediterranean Scramble, Crispy Hash Browns, added side of sausage

Always stop at Grandma's when we Golf in Pacific Grove. Food portions are great, service is quick and friendly, very Homey feel to the place. I had the Mediterranean Scramble and hash browns, adding sausage on the side.

The BEST breakfast experience! Delicious food (the bacon is OUT OF THIS WORLD), generous portions, reasonable prices, a very comfortable environment, and our server, Maggie, was attentive, helpful and sweet!!! People say food is made with Love and Grandma's delivers. My kids were absolutely ravenous for the food destroying 3 plates of hash browns haha Highly recommend!!!!

    Blueberry pancake combo

Mary was so cool and chill, providing excellent service. This was the best blueberry pancake combo I've ever had. They use actual whole blueberries! I was really surprised and impressed when I cut into my pancake and saw real whole blueberries. I would come back just for this.

Let me start off by saying this is not my first trip to Grandma's kitchen. Been here a few times throughout the years and to be honest they're the only ones whose biscuits and gravy I could even think about eating outside of my dad's and my own... without being said breakfast was amazing. I had an omelette my mom had chicken fried steak and everything was absolutely delicious as per usual. The ambience of this restaurant is of a literal grandmas house a grandma who is obsessed with owls. (In a good way of course) LOL Service is of a very busy breakfast diner. Everybody still extremely nice and eager to help. If you were in the area and want a good breakfast, definitely stop by. You will not be disappointed.

There's ample parking in the plaza, so it should not be a concern. We went on a weekday morning, so it wasn't crowded but the looking at how at the familiarity between the staff and some of the customers, it seemed like a local favorite. The staff was very sweet, and place seemed very chirpy, the place reminded of a good old diner. All the staff was very sweet. We got the Quintals omelette, and it was my first time trying refried beans in an omelette and it was definitely something we'd try again. We also got French toast with fresh fruits and it was delicious too.

The Experience & Service: There was some noticeable confusion when our meals were served. A food runner brought out my husband's plate first, then turned to me and asked if I had ordered anything. When I told her I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, she asked if our server had mentioned they were out of it and if I had picked a replacement. He hadn't told me anything of the sort. A few minutes later, our server came by to reassure me my food would be out shortly, bringing a small bowl of fruit to tide me over. My plate did eventually arrive, but the miscommunication up front was a bit awkward. The Food: Crab Cake Benedict: Unfortunately, the dish was just okay. The crab cake itself tasted like a pre-breaded, frozen patty rather than freshly made. Smothered under the poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, it was fine, but nothing special. Omelet & Home Fries: My husband really enjoyed his omelet. However, his side of home fries was a letdown--they weren't cooked through properly and had an off-taste of old fryer oil. Final Verdict: The staff is nice and trying hard during a busy rush, but given the service hiccups and average food execution, I'm not sure we would return if we're in the area again.

Our order consisted of a steak salad/fries and a calamari steak sandwich. I can't comment on my daughter's food because she ate all of it with no complaints. Mine was ok, wasn't bad nor great but I was excited (I'm a fatty) about the slice of key lime pie I took home. Unfortunately I was really disappointed. No key lime "zing" to the filling and the whipped cream only had a small hint of sweetness. The sliced almonds were really unpleasant, they had the old rancid taste/smell. Overall I wasn't thrilled with the food nor the price. Service was below average, I say that because it was not busy at all yet we had to get the servers attention more than once, meaning she didn't check on us. On a positive note I was able to spend the day with my beautiful daughter.

I replied "They have perfected this recipe for decades upon decades. It's their famous soup." Thank you Jose R for your rad customer service & greatly appreciate you. The streets of Alvarado and surrounding were packed with cars and people. We circled the blocks surrounding a couple of times before double parking a block away from the brewery. My little person was with me on this mission. Upon entering the brewery, the hostess had a line of five groups in front of us being put on a waiting list to be seated. Inside, every seat and stool was occupied. The tables and seating were compact with enough aisle space to allow servers through to deliver orders. When it was our turn, I provided my name for pickup. We were instructed to get our order from the beer garden. Location of the beer garden, in the rear of the overpacked aisles we had to beeline through. The interior of this location spans vastly which is great for customer seating and lessening wait times, yet sucks for those needing to retrieve their pickup. When we finally made it to the rear, our order was ready to go. I signed the receipt and was off. The food itself was prepared exceptionally well, extremely flavorful with high quality ingredients and nothing but compliments from each of us - three in total. Our daughter killed every slice of her pizza minus one, husband devoured his and I had a few slices remaining that I ate for breakfast cold. The cheesy crust was a beautiful crunchy addition texturally and flavor wise; however, cold it was hard to bite through as easy. Would we return, definitely. We will do a one person hop out and grab the food while the other circles. Lucky there were no cops out towing - I was in the red for a minute waiting to pickup.

My breakfast came with a tiny piece of hickory ham steak that was dry, overcooked, and burnt. The eggs were overcooked as well. The biscuits tasted like a basic Bisquick mix, and the gravy was loaded with processed black pepper and that was all it tasted like. Overall, the food was poor quality, especially considering the high prices. I tried several times to get my waitress's attention so I could send the ham back, but she never looked over. By the time I was finally able to flag her down, I was nearly finished eating. To her credit, she replaced the ham with two sausage links, which were acceptable. Unfortunately, the service issues continued when I went to pay. I was standing at the register ready to check out when a group of customers walked in. Instead of completing my transaction, the employee at the front asked me to wait while she seated the new arrivals. Between the lack of attention, disappointing food, and poor customer service, this was a frustrating experience. There are much better breakfast options in town that offer better food for less money.
