He does not take any responsibility for the products coming from his location and does understandthe meaningof customerservice. I had two bathrooms installed. One turned out So so. Not great. The other is uneven. When I went to point this out to the installer, he kept telling me I was wrong. We measure and it was off and he continued to tell me it was normal. I do know better. As he screamed at me he was going to call the Manager I told him go ahead. I'd like to talk to the manager. We called the manager and he told the installer to fix the side-splash. He then tried to fix one of the problems( still yelling) and wanted my side-splash to have saw makes all over it. It needed to be polished like the rest. This argument went on for sometime. Now I come back to the bathroom and measure after they have left and the countertop is still uneven. Longer on one side than the other. He fixed the side-splash. They did a Crappy Job with no respect for the customers wishes to have a decent, straight job done. Customer BE WARE! read more

H. O. R. R. I. B. L. E. customer service. About 5 or so customer service employees were at the counter when we walked in. They all just looked at us. No smile. No, "Hello", nothing. Folks, I just saw my first group of zombies. Went in, got to business picking what we needed. A very nice young woman came from the back to help us. I felt so badly that such a nice person works in such an awful environment. We picked what we needed and left. Walked past the same counter to leave, caught the eye of the nice young woman and told her thank you. She said, "You're welcome." No one else said anything. read more

Horrible experience with this place, the reviews are very misleading and the people here are rude and don't know the slightest bit of customer service and certainly does not know proper way to talk to someone. The guys who did the install kept using the restroom, which in my case was gross because times like these I'm skeptical who uses my personal restroom. Every employee & one manager that I spoke with acted as if they had something better to do and were very unhelpful to a paying customer. Warehouse workers were also very unhelpful and not friendly. Don't waste your money nor time. I went to pick up the cabinets I had ordered. I was shocked to see the cabinets damaged. I mean they were brand new, who would expect 50% of the cabinets to have damaged wood and horrible paint job. Sure they are cheaper than other stores such as home depot but at least at home depot they won't tell you that brand new cabinets are normally damaged and that once they are installed you won't be able to see the cracked. They offered to swap out the cabinets with other cabinets of the same type but those were even more damaged than the first ones they brought out.. They didn't even apologize because to them this is normal. This is not an assumption, this is exactly what i was told.. but you see i bought the cabinets for my home not as a contractor. A contractor might over look damages because they might be able to cover it up or repair. They didn't offer an apology nor discount. I will be reporting them to the BBB. Sharing my experience and a couple of pictures of some of the damages in hopes that others won't have to go through what I did. read more

I am currently remodeling serveral rooms in my house and so far it has been a night mare. I have been to countless stores searching for cabinets, countertops, vanities, flooring and more. I can tell you granite expo in Vacaville. Has been my first pleasant experience. Even though, i still have not come to my final decison on finishes. This will absolutely be wjere i end up purchasing. Not only do they have very reasonable pricing and a great selection; their customer service is fat beyond anywhere else i have checked out. I was helped out by 2 different sales associates. Francisco was a very polite young man who answering a few of my questions and then i was lucky enough to stumple upon Chelsea. She was so kind, down to earth, funny, and clearly bright. She had so many good ideas when it came to design and color coordination. She made my experience at Granite expo actually quite enjoyable. I hope the company realizes what an asset she really is to them. Ps they have a ton of discontinued cabinets on clearance for dirt cheap. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Like many others have said they don't acknowledge your presence to start with. Once you actually get someone to help you they give you misleading or wrong information. I went in 4 times and spoke to 4 different people and was told completely different things....not to mention they kept changing the price they were going to charge for the install. Told me my kitchen was so small it wasn't worth their time so they'd have to change me more to make it worth while for their guys. The price of the granite was good however unless you can install it yourself or use your own contractor they charge an outrageous amount for installing, and on top of that they don't install the plywood on top the cabinets, they expect the customer to do it themselves. I'd rather pay more and get better service. read more

One star is being far too generous!! How they are still in business baffles me. Same unexpressive employees at the front desk. Went to pick up my vanity which when I called was told it was ready only to find out they put the wrong handles on. They scrambled to assemble another then the bar handles were crooked and not centered. Told them to do another one and then when I went back the next day THAT vanity was scratched and same handles crooked. Now they are doing a third. They will have to keep doing it till it's right. Excellent customer service! Vivi was knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful. We were greeted when we walked in. We appreciated that we did not have a sales person immediately following us. After looking around a few minutes, Vivi came over to assist us. She provided information about different options, pros and cons to the different options, and timing to get different materials. We ordered a kitchen last week as well as tile and vanities and a bunch of other stuff. We thought everything went well and we were told the kitchen would be ready in a week. How exciting! Our contractor came to pick up the kitchen and brought it home, when we saw it we realized they gave him the WRONG kitchen. We came to tell them the mistake and they said they could give him the kitchen we had originally ordered but we would have to wait and there would be a $200 fee. As a business owner you should honor the price and honor that you made the mistake, not us. We had no other choice but to pay the fee and have our contractor return the kitchen and wait for the new one. When we came back to discuss the situation we were confronted with hostility and anger from Christine the purchasing manager. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Obviously they don't want people's business. My husband and I came to ask about a simple, albeit, custom piece with the prospect of using them to redo our whole kitchen. The answer of no with no elaboration that she gave my husband was rude in itself. But then pushing the woman for more information, she then said we have to buy a whole slab and cut it to size (duh) and they don't install due to our current job being too small and then being dismissed. Find anywhere else to go but here if you would like to be treated with even a shred of respect. read more

This has been the worst experience EVER!!! Their customer service is absolute garbage! We live in Sacramento so we rented a U-Haul to pick up an entire kitchen and 3 bathrooms worth of cabinets and vanities they said we're ready. Got there and half the stuff wasn't ready. We had to come back a second time to pick up what they hadn't got and they ordered the wrong color. So we still have to go back again! And one of the vanities that they sold us didn't have all the holes cut in the top and now they refuse to cut them. The manager we spoke to said he was trying to help us, but his answer to every thing was "sorry we can't do that" so I'm not sure how that's helping. WORST experience ever do not go with them! The only people their worth anything were the guys who helped me load the cabinets twice. STAY AWAY! read more

This is the second home that we have had Granite Expo do our kitchen countertops. Both experiences have been very positive. Our first experience was five years ago, having granite countertops installed in our kitchen and both bathrooms. Yesterday we had Quartz countertops installed in our kitchen in our new home. Our kitchen required two slabs as we have a very large peninsula and a huge corner cabinet that is for our sink. We wanted minimal seams and only have one--it blends very well (you have to look for the seam!). Granite Expo sent additional muscle the day of the install as the pieces were huge and heavy (thank you Alex!). The installers were VERY thorough and precise with their measurements and in making sure the countertops fit perfectly (big THANK YOU to the team of Shawn and his wife). Although we were prior customers, we did obtain two other estimates (one local and one from Sacramento) and Granite Expo beat both...we couldn't be happier with the entire process and will recommend them to our friends and family :) read more

I had a GREAT experience in the "store" with the sales person. Lots of hands on help and designing However, when the 3 people came out to my house to do the install, it was horrific! They did not speak English and most of the "discussion" about the bull nose areas was done with sign language and a bit of pressure. My husband actually left the house because it was so chaotic. The 3 installers eventually got the install mostly done....we had one "back splash" area that wasn't level so they would not do install--again EXTREMELY hard to understand as there was no real ENGLISH. My contractor was there, fortunately, and sort of understood what needed to be done. In the end of the day the installers had used our hose and took off with a key part leaving our hose useless. I am pretty sure this was not intentional, but I had to take that hose back to Vacaville store (I live in Davis) and tell the owner about the hose. They did give me $30 to purchase a new hose ( I left my useless hose with them). Being in the USA means to me, speak our English language at least enough for the customers to be able to communicate! One of the cabinet door latches was broken so when I brought the hose issue back, I brought the latch. I was told by my great show room helper to ask for a new one in the warehouse. Well again, that guy didn't speak English so it was again a chaotic sign language exchange. He finally gave me a new latch ( and the old broken one) back. The replacement was missing a spring!!!!!!!!!!! My contractor was able to get the spring from the first broken latch and fix the replacement latch. However, all that time on his part cost me more money. Bottom line, unless you speak their language, installation will surely be psycho and possibly costly! read more

My husband and I went in twice to get quartz for our kitchen remodel. No customer service the first time but we were just looking at that time. Next time we were prepared to place an order and pay. We stood at the desk for about 5 minutes with no one to acknowledge us. I tried waving to people and was ignored . It became a bit of a challenge to get some help and then became funny as I continued to get someones attention. I finally went into one of the offices and cornered an employee to ask for help. I was told no one could help us. Needless to say, we left and took our business elsewhere. We won't go back there and I cannot encourage anyone to go. read more

I am a contractor and buy lots of materials from Granite Expo, it's a great place, things are in stock and available at a fraction of the cost of similar materials. The cabinets have plywood boxes rather than particle board so are much better quality than big box stores. People need to understand that this is not a place to go if you don't know what you are doing. I would not send clients in alone. The prices are amazing but you cannot expect to have a full service experience and have rock bottom prices. The workers are there to sell products. You should know what you are doing before you go there or find a place that will hold your hand and pay accordingly. If you are unable to measure and plan your project hire a designer or general contractor to help you. Most of the negative reviews are from people with the wrong expectations. This is a store (pick what you want and drive away with it) not a fancy design showroom. Even the complaints about doors not being lined up is silly because they are adjustable and if you don't know that then you need professional help. read more

My husband and I came here for new bathroom vanities, and the ONLY reason we went through with the purchases was the low cost of the product in comparison to other options. By far some of the worst customer service we've ever experienced. Zoe was helpful in the beginning, however each time we came into contact with her, she became seemingly more and more irritable and like she would rather have been anywhere but there. One day in particular we walked in, and Zoe and another girl at the counter just stared at us, no "hello" or "can I help you", and I could see they were both scrolling through Facebook on their phones. My husband just picked up our final purchase from them. They proceeded to load up the incorrect countertop into the bed of his truck, after he repeatedly said it was not what we ordered. They insisted it was and ignored his request to take the countertop out. After going back to the front desk, the young man at the front confirmed that it was the incorrect product, and after checking the tags on the countertop they insisted was ours, found the name of a different customer proving it did not belong to us. He was the only one with remotely decent customer service. They later figured out that they had already given our countertop to another customer. Granted, they did give us a slight discount for the inconvenience, however it does not make up for the even longer delay on our bathroom remodel and lack of customer service. Let me start with the positive first. I do like the quartz slabs I chose and the color of the charcoal Birch cabinetry. But I was not advised by the sales person in the Vacaville store that the location for the oven is one size fits all. Not only that, the opening is sized for a double oven only. When my contractor tried to install my microwave oven combination, it did not even come close to fitting. Now I have a huge mess to deal with and have to pay big time to have this issue resolved. In addition to that, I was never instructed to cover anything in my house during the installation. It's two weeks later and I am still breathing the dust. I spent over $11,000 on this job and expected the customer service aspect to at least be acceptable.... I must add that I went to Granite Expo in Emeryville and Peter supplied me with paint pens to use when modifying the oven cabinet. But this review is for Granite Expo in Vacaville. read more

My wife and are remodeling our home and went there to order a kitchen, shower pans, sinks, flooring ........... and a 2 vanities. The young lady with a ponytail have the worse manners I ever seen in my life. First she insulted us by telling us that our term is wrong and we don't know what we want and after she was of no help whatsoever. Go to Lowes or Home Depot they are the same price and you can keep your dignity. After we complained at front desk, no one cared and this lady became more builgerent and roud. No wounded the place are empty and no one is shoping there. Go someplace else. The one star is because there is no -1 or more. read more
