I just experienced 2 weeks of "service department hell" with key managers of Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep's service department. I had to take my Jeep Compass back 4 separate times during this timeframe, and although they declared the car as being repaired 2 times during this service nightmare, they didn't fix the problem. The sense I got from their Service Director, Santiago Ramirez, was that he flat out didn't care that they declared the problem fixed when in fact he knew that that the real problem was not correctly addressed. I ended up taking the car to Concourse Automotive in Grapevine, and they quickly and correctly remedied the situation. As a side note, the managers at Concourse said that Santiago and his service department is one of Concourse's best sources for new customers. Go figure. read more

I was pressured into pre-paying for four oil changes and tire rotations by the Service Advisor. I no longer have the Chrysler vehicle I purchased the oil changes/tire rotations for. (they are connected to the VIN number of the vehicle--they are not transferrable) After spending 20 minutes on the phone with the dealership and 1 hour on the phone with Chrysler customer service, I discovered that neither the dealership or Chrysler will refund the money I pre-paid for those services. Lesson learned. Beware. Even if you never receive those services, when you pre-pay at Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep you are simply donating money to the dealership. Lesson #2: I took my Chrysler back to Grapevine Dodge to trade in for a Jeep. Unfortunately, the salesperson I was given wrote up the sale of a vehicle that I did not test drive and did not come into the dealership to see. What he wrote up was a sales contract for a Jeep that was $2k more than what their website advertised the vehicle was selling for. Switch and bait. Verify VIN numbers on your sales contracts with the VIN numbers displayed on the website. Make sure you are not being sold the wrong vehicle or paying more than what the dealership website has posted as the sales price for the vehicle before you sign anything. read more

Recently we came to this dealership to look for a new, safe, family car as we are expecting our first baby in January. We met Collins who was, the most energetic and hard working salesperson I think we have ever worked with. Let me start with, my husbands family has been in the car dealership business for A LONG time, so we know all of the "gimmicks", "tricks" and "trades" of the business. So, right off the bat, we asked them to be real with us and let them know what we were pre-approved for, what we were looking for and what price we could afford monthly. WOW, was Collins the most helpful person! Not only did he NOT try to put us into a car we couldn't afford, but he went above and beyond (he actually was running around the lot at one point) to find us the exact Grand Cherokee that we were looking for. During the sales process, Chad, helped us with our trade-in and not only was thorough, but we considered him to be very fair. The dealership stayed open late for us that night, so we had to return the next day to get the car detailed and to finish up all of the finite stuff. Had brakes done here and had a clunking rubbing noise so I brought it back. They took it for a test drive and heard the noise and was told I had to leave it for 24 to 48 hours to be diagnosed. Took the truck home and checked the lug nuts on left front wheel and 3 of 5 lug nuts were on hand tight!!! Two lugs on each remaining 3 wheels were also hand tight!!!...Called service and was given lip service...I tightened (torqued) lug nuts and clunking noise was gone!!! THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS!!!!! Don't ever go here for an oil change. They charge you out the a$$ and forget to tighten the oil drain plug. That's something very serious and if I would have not caught it, it would have vibrated loose and drained ALL of the oil from my engine. Luckily only a little bit dropped out. 6-30-2017 Worst experience ever. DK the sales rep makes the entire dealership look bad. He gave me a cost, I came to the dealership to look at the truck. When I arrived I sent him a text telling him we were in the parking lot and he did not even come out to meet me. We were at the bank getting a cashier's check to pay for the truck in full. I never heard from him so I called and when I finally talked to him he said he would not honor the cost he had text me. (I have the texts to prove it) He was rude and laugh at me over the phone. Purchased a "Platinum" program through Dodge Dealership in Grapevine TX June 2019, 48,000 miles from the date of purchased of 48 months whichever comes first, I understood it covered Powertrain and transmission components and they made it very clear it would not cover electronic components ,tires, break, cosmetics.... on WED 6/10 my wife told me the car felt weird like it was pulling and shaking a little, the next day we exchanged cars so I could test drive it myself......the car was pulling, shaking, loosing power, and the steering wheel also was getting stuck when pulling out.... I told my wife let's take it to a local NIssan dealership because I want the best parts and service for our car, especially because my wife is the primary driver and want the best for her and my kids..... we took the car to the dealership 6/12 and I was told the diagnostic would be ready in about 5 days because they were a little behind..... I get the call 6/18 and they tell me there is major engine issues and repair cost is about $4000.00, I was worried to and extend because I purchased my extended warranty and was only going to spend the $100.00 deductible and APEX would get me a car rental on covered repairs so my wife could get around..... surprise! APEX is such a SCAM they claim the repairs are not covered because the condition was pre-existing and we should have taken the car to the dealership prior???!!!!! are you kidding me? how do we know the car had issues if it showed no symptoms? knowing that I have a warranty for like 4 years/48kmiles why would I not take it immediately like I did? APEX CLAIMS NISSAN SHOULD COVER THE REPAIRS BECAUSE THE MANUFACTURES WARRANTY BARELY EXPIRED since I hit 60,084..... They say I should have taken the car before the 60k miles!!???? are you serious? And even worse, the level of customer service they offer is inferior, their job is to do everything they can to deny your claim and blame it on either the customer or the repair shop....another statement APEX made was, the records we received from the dealership show the car was having consistent issues and they took that as if the car had issues for months! to escape from paying out of course.....again, why wait for months one you know you have and awesome payment protection plan that would cost you $100 bucks to repair? the people over at APEX are trained to be rude, talk over you, and deny every statement the client makes, i got extremly upset and I will not STOP until they respond and proceed with the claim..... Can't give them a zero but I would if I could. I bought a truck from them a few years back and was supposed to get coverage where they take out dents. It's easy they said just bring up your truck on tuesdays or Thursdays and they just pop them out. Well, I take it up there the first time and it's "we don't cover the spot below the back window, we can't do that" ok no biggie, I'll live with it. Next time it's " we don't cover the dents on the tailgate, they are too much trouble" ok no biggie just two dents. Next time I go it's "the dent guy comes on Mondays Wednesday's and Friday now" ok no biggie just 3 dents now. Next time it's back to Tuesday's and Thursday's missed again. Ok now I have a recall so I drop off truck for a few days and ask about the few dents again and they say ok we will help you out. Magically, when I go get my truck after recall work done the dents are still there. They tell me they have to get a new guy because the last company quit on them. Alright no worries, I tell the guy to call me when the new guy is available......crickets! I call back get run around so then just let it go. Next recall stuff comes up and I go up there and ask about dents again, the recall work and ask them to do an oil change. I tell them I will leave truck until work is done because we are going out of town for the weekend (this is a Tuesday night when I drop of truck, plenty of time). I even explain I need dents removed because I want to trade truck in and get new truck, I even go test out new trucks with them. Well they call me on Friday and say the recall work is done but they still don't have dent guy. Ok, I tell them just hold truck until they are done. Well, a week later I get a call saying my dent coverage is expired and I need to get my truck. Ok, now I am pissed. The service guy is rude says I should have known my coverage was expired. Never mind the fact that they never honored it in the first place. Now imagine my surprise when they didn't even do tHe oil change? I can't make this up. The salesman calls, I explain the situation and why I am not buying new truck. I'll get to the bottom of this he says.... nothing. Sales manager calls asks the same thing. I'll get to the bottom of this she says........nothing. Even the concierge calls asking how everything went. I explain and am told I will fix this. Now guess what happens.......nothing. Now, fast forward a few months and my truck gets stolen. It's totaled and I call up there to see if I can get info about options for my insurance company. I could have sworn they told me I got extra insurance when I bought truck but nobody knows anything and to my surprise no one even wants to help. I have to find out from another dealer I can get my window sticker from a website with just my VIN. So at least I can get that to help my insurance claim, I got an extra $1,000 bucks, no thanks to Grapevine Dodge. These guys are like politicians, promise the world then act like you are a pest after the sale. Run away from this place. I have bought 4 dodge trucks in my life and now need another. I asked if they had a truck meeting certain specifications within a set price range. She sent me information for a vehicle that was $12,339 over my max. Then when I told her that it was far above my max she asked "Where did you come up with that number for our truck?" This is a copy if the email sent to the General Manager on Friday, August 11th. I've still heard nothing. My former loan remains unpaid nearly a month after the transaction. Good evening,  I am forwarding this information to you, because I feel that you should be made aware of the poor customer service, inefficiency, and overall lack of integrity displayed by your dealership during my experience.  On July 25th, I traded in my Jeep Grand Cherokee in order to lease the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. At that time, I did undergo a bit of nonsense haggling with Ryan Hale, per his finance manager, but after establishing the fact that I had done my homework, and would require a reasonable deal in order to gain my business, the overall transaction went smoothly. Trey had us return the following day to complete the paperwork needed. I informed him that my payment to Capital One was due on the Grand Cherokee and asked if I should pay it. He said the 10 day payoff should post within a few days and not to worry.  I assumed everything was fine. However, my husband got a call yesterday, August 10th, requesting a copy of my drivers license to be emailed to Andrew Trakas for completion of paperwork, so that the loan could be paid.  I became alarmed, as this should have been completed weeks ago. I immediately sent the information as well as a  request to be updated on the status. My husband called and left a message requesting as much that afternoon.  We did not get a response.  This morning I sent a second email requesting an update and explanation for why they were just now asking for information needed to do paperwork. No reply.  I called three times today. My last message was to inform them that I was now pursuing action and explanation beyond the dealership, and would continue to file complaints until I had heard from someone with at least an update.  I immediately called the Jeep Corporation. The customer service representative collected and verified my information. She filed a complaint against Grapevine Jeep and notified you of such, via phone call. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well.  After doing this, I called the dealership one last time to get your email address to notify you of the issue. Taurus intervened, finally. Unfortunately, he lacked the integrity necessary to be honest about the obvious oversight, and immediately justified their extended time line, placed responsibility on the finance company, and discussed issues with other salesmen while I was explaining the situation to him. He was not in any way equipped to deal with me, and it was painfully obvious. When asked why it took 16 days to request my drivers license, he simply said that Andrew Trakas must have just needed it to wrap things up. It seems to me, as well as a different dealership, and Jeep Corporation, that someone dropped the ball on this. The unwillingness to return phone calls and emails demonstrates poor customer service, while the initial attempt to be dishonest during the sale and willingness to place blame on others, shows a lack of integrity.  At this point, I believe, and hope that the issue has been handled. Taurus explained that my finance company finally funded this yesterday and the payment would post to Capital One on Tuesday.  In the meantime, know that the case number for the complaint with Jeep corporation, against your dealership is ######### while the BBC case number is ########. All of this could have been avoided by: 1. Collecting all documents at the time of signing.  2. Starting the process in a timely manner.  3. Returning a call or email within a reasonable time frame.  4. Accepting responsibility for mistakes. 5. Listening intently when addressing the issue.  Needless to say, I will remain a Jeep customer, but not with your dealership. I will also be active in discouraging people I know from doing business with your dealership as well.  I am sending this information to you as a courtesy as I believe it is something that you would want to know. The prices advertised are not the prices charged. They automatically add a "protection package" that is not included in the posted price. Further, when we tried to buy a car coming off of its service loaner program the advertised a price that included rebates from Chrysler financing despite the fact that Chrysler financing will not finance vehicles in this program. The finance manager brought back a final sheet with the increased car price trying to focus us on the monthly payment. Wasted by time and insulted by intelligence not to mention ran my credit unnecessarily. Very deceitful and shady way of doing business. read more

Don't waste your time or gas taking your vehicle to this service department. Had an "appointment" scheduled for 12:30 for check engine light. I dropped off my truck early and had to wait around 10 minutes for someone to help me "check-in" my truck. Then I was told the truck would have to stay over for the weekend because the shop is really busy. Maybe hire more technicians? I asked about bringing the truck back Sunday evening and leaving the keys in the drop box to avoid interfering with my work schedule on Monday. I was told "sure you can do that." What I wasn't told was that would not be possible. Drove my truck back to the dealership Sunday evening only to find all the gates closed and locked and nowhere to park the truck. The adjacent street has several no parking signs along the entire street. Of course the dealership is closed on Sundays. Where are customers supposed to park their vehicles after hours? This information we were not given. So who knows? read more

Crumy dealer we bought one online and got there had to do everything again with a person from the Middle East didn't even speak English and were there all day till after 9-10 pm .. we should had walked the 17 ram 2500 diesel is nothing but bad problems started day after i bought it they said don't bring it back unitil a check engine light is on . now 8mo and 18 k mile been in several about 10 dealership shops for engine issues and now transmission for the 3 time what a horrible experience.. and I'm pretty sure the sales man put a little gas in my diesel when he went to fill it up before delivery horrible horrible horrible also sold me some cheap warranty way over cost and it won't work anywhere but there dealership what a joke of a dealer .... read more

This is the third time I have tried to schedule service at this dealership. I always get the same run around with them. This is Monday, I called for an appointment for Friday, they tell me that they need to have my vehicle for at least two full working days (Saturday does not count) to do any service on my vehicle. They don't have any idea what is wrong with my vehicle! The jerk I spoke with (Tom) tried to first tell me that they wouldn't work on it on Saturday, then he told me they were really busy and could not get to it, and needed extra time. On out first trip just to see the vehicles and look at different packages, we felt the pressure comming on strong from the salesman who was telling us that we would be driving home with it that night. Even though he could not tell us what the interest rate was or how many months the loan would be for, he was insuring us we were leaving with it that night. Then when I broke the news that were were absolute not buying one that night the salesman acted shocked like were were insane because we were not ready to buy. The salesman asked why we would not buy that night. I informed him we were shopping and looking around. On the second visit to see a different car, the salesman said he was mislead because we returned but didn't come to buy. I had to remind me him several times that we were shopping and not ready to buy yet. On the third trip, we finally decided what jeep we wanted and sat down to talk business. Then after repeated requests for breakdowns on the final price we discovered an extra charge for $1,800 that was not part of the online price. We were told this was for window tint and some fancy wording (I believe it was APEX) that means GPS. I explained we didn't need GPS and didn't want it. I was then told it's already in And everybody gets it. NEWs flash, I'm not paying for the GPS so that the dealer has piece of mind of tracing my every move. if grapevine jeep wants to track my cars location, they can pay for on there end. Don't try to play it off like it benefits me. My insurance covers stolen vehicles. I don't want to pay the extra for something I don't need and won't use. In short, this was a terrable experience. The marketing strategy used by this dealership is based on deception. They had a vehicle listed online for one price, but then when I came in for an appointment, was told I could only purchase at that price if I financed through one of their associate lenders. Side note, I'm an active duty Soldier and already had approved funding through Navy Federal, so I said no problem and was prepared to leave. The manager assures me no don't leave, we want to earn your business, so we'll honor the price. Went through test drive and decided I wanted the vehicle, and again the financing conversation came up. When I declined their financing again, the price of the vehicle increased by over $6k!!! Wow!!! No way!!! I Had a check in hand from Navy Federal, and they wanted to examine it as if it was fraudulent. Said they had never seen anything like it before. Bottom line, this dealership does not support Veterans/Soldiers and the means we have in place. Seems to be a nesting place for dishonesty, deceitfulness, and poor customer service practices! Stay away at all cost unless you want to be swindled, lied to, or bullied into utilizing their financing options! read more

Steer clear from this place as much as possible. I made the mistake of purchasing a car here three years ago,but needed a car immediately. There's no doubt I was a victim of price gouging and really wished I had looked at reviews before going there. The salesman pushed me to get Apex and while the warranty came through for me once,it didn't come through the second time. I attempted to reach the dealer in order to cancel the warranty since it wouldn't cover a blown engine without documentation and yet no one in the finance department would contact me in how to get rein-burst. I'm now stuck with a non-running POS for the next two years. Stay away from both if you possibly can and go elsewhere. read more
