I order from his diner through Uber eats. I order pancakes with bacon and a turkey burger deluxe. The bacon wasn't cooked and the turkey burger was dry it was supposed to come with coleslaw n pickles and it did not. there was no condiments in the bag. I called the diner and the lady said if you don't Check off the box they don't include anything. I called back and spoke with a gentleman and he apologize and offered to replace the order or refund my money. I opted for the refund. that was three weeks ago and I still haven't received a refund. $17 for iceberg lettuce salad. I ordered a Greek salad with the chicken upgrade. Additional grilled chicken was charged at six dollars for one chicken breast. When I got home and open the salad, I realize it was all iceberg lettuce and did not contain any of the anchovies that were advertised in the food description. No peppercinni, no side of pita. I walked in on Memorial Day morning trying to order and BLT and a lemonade to drink. When I finish ordering with the older lady I noticed she was getting ready to serve my drink. I stated to her can you please make my drink when my sandwich is done. She said well I'm going to be busy and I won't be able to make your drink then. I wanted to like this place. The vibe is right up my alley. Unfortunately I found not 1, not 2, but 3 hairs in my chicken avocado club. I sent it back and the waiter was apologetic. I got a new sandwich and carefully inspected it. Seemed OK but I still was hesitant to eat it. When we went to pay the bill up front I assume one of the owners checked us out and asked how everything was. We told him there were 3 hairs in my food. What a welcome establishment in this area! I have had 4 fabulous breakfasts here and two lunches. The Coffee is great. Very good bacon. Crisp. Real blueberries in the pancakes. Their customer service is disgusting and the manager is just as disgusting. I ordered via Uber eats and this restaurant screwed up my order on 2 occasions. The first time I ordered they sent my meal but my drink was missing. Today I ordered a chicken salad and they sent me a chicken sandwich. They claimed that their system was showing that I ordered a chicken sandwich. Yet, my copy of the receipt shows that I selected a chicken salad. I didn't touch the sandwich and asked for my correct order to be sent to me. The first time I ordered from them, they called Uber to have a driver bring me my drink. I bought a piece of their baklava and discovered a piece of sharp thick dark metal inside of THE LAST BITE! It almost chipped my tooth. It's too bad because the baklava itself was good. But I guess too much of a good thing CAN kill you if there are metal shards inside of it! I hope this was the only piece and that I didn't swallow any others. I'm even more worried now that I tapped it with a spoon and a smaller fragment came off it. I'm wondering what it's doing to my intestines and about how many other customers ate their baklava or may be eating it at this moment. This needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. We came to this diner because you see it on News 12 voted as the "Best Diner in Westchester", not sure how or why they won this title. First I will say our waitress was nice, but way too loud, and not attentive at all. You see your table barely touched their food but you do not ask why? Maybe because this is a common thing here. So many reasons as to why we will not visit this diner again nor recommend anyone: Utensils had left over dried residue of food, cups were dirty with things floating in ice and syrup stains down the sides. When I asked the waitress to get me another spoon due to the one being filthy she again did not seem surprised. The bathroom is horrendous, the faucet is practically hanging on by a thread, the toilet paper holder fell on my leg while I was helping my child in the stall, and along side the walls looked like pieces of mouse poop. The food: I ordered a chicken cordon blue panini, which stated on the menu "chicken cutlet, ham, Swiss cheese, on a European ciabatta. What came on my plate were severely over cooked frozen pieces of chicken fingers (I am guessing what this was because there was barely any chicken inside and it looked gray in color), a pathetic little piece of ham, on a "extra buttery" piece of ciabatta. The french fries appeared as if they were once frozen, cooked, served, and when that person did not eat them they heated them again and served to another customer. Not fresh at all, stale, and a customer can easily tell they were cooked more than once. My child's mac n cheese had black things floating in the pasta, yes could of been from the burnt cheese, but No, when carefully examined it looked as if it came off the sides of the little metal pot they serve the pasta in. She loves mac and cheese and wouldn't touch theirs. So for almost 50$ and to leave completely disgusted, nauseous feeling, and just beyond skeeved out, it is safe to say that this is not an establishment I would ever visit again. Really tasty new diner in the old Friendly's location on Tuckahoe Rd. I've been waiting to try this place for a while now and they finally opened. I stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. It's set up pretty much the same as the Friendly's, but much cleaner. The service is very attentive and like any good diner, the food comes quickly. I decided on the Italian omelette, which is filled with sausage, mozzarella and tomatoes. It came with home fries and toast. The omelette was great, the sausage was delicious and it all fell into place wonderfully. The home fries were great, they had the thin slices of potato that kind of melt in your mouth. So, we were out shopping today and decided to stop here for a bite before heading home. We settled on trying out this spot, instead of going to our go-to diners. We figured we'd give it a try since it is pretty close to where we live. Well, we should have gone with any other diner in the area. First i'll start with the sort-of good. The wait staff is courteous, but seem ill-prepared to handle much of anything in the way of a problem. Our waitress was sweet, attentive and perfectly polite, but seemed frazzled (odd since the place wasn't busy when we went in). It might have had something to do with the fact that she wrote down everything we ordered long-hand, repeating it back under her breath as she wrote it. Frankly, it was a touch awkward and the entire ordering process took a good five minutes. The diner itself is clean, homey-feeling and comfortable, although the heat was on so high I wasn't sure if I should be eating dinner or practicing Bikram yoga. Now for the not good. The food was mediocre, and that is being generous. My boyfriend got a soup that had bones in it, so we sent that back. They were out of the soup I had ordered. The boneless wings were acceptable, but the ranch dressing they offered with it tasted odd. Definitely not a dipping ranch. He had a panini that was pretty tasteless. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad.. It just was. My thanksgiving wrap could have been good, but it tasted like they added curry or cumin to the stuffing. It was just a very odd combo. My mom had dined with us, and she said her soup (cream of mushroom) was fine, as was her Cobb salad (kind of hard to screw that up). There was nothing particularly great about it, but it was edible. When it came time to pay they left both my soup (which they didn't have anymore of) and my boyfriend's soup (which he sent back) on the receipt. Took a few minutes to sort that out. While it was sorted out eventually, it was a mistake that shouldn't have happened. This diner also doesn't offer free refills on soft drinks. That's not something I have ever experienced in a diner. We found it kind of strange. We left and within 20 minutes my boyfriend and I both needed to find a restroom, immediately. I don't have a delicate stomach by any stretch of the imagination, and I've never felt so sick after a meal out before. The feeling lasted for the entirety of the night. So, we paid $60 to feel like little bombs were exploding inside our stomachs. Not pleasant. We won't be back. It really is a shame because the place is conveniently located, well decorated and has a staff that is well-meaning, even if they aren't particularly well-trained. The food is just not good. Oh well. We will be sticking to Seven Brothers Diner or Central Plaza Diner from now on. Both are miles better than this place even though they don't have that fresh, new novelty to them. read more

We decided to try this Diner on a snowy day. It was either this one or McLean Diner and I wish I would have chosen the other. There is nothing magical or special about this place. And in my opinion not the best breakfast in Yonkers. Broken mirrors fixed with clear tape...smh. Food wasn't as hot as we would have liked it to be when coming from the kitchen. The Chamber of Commerce just gives them a sign to put outside their building and free press, but the truth is, they give that sign to every business, diner, etc. that joins their club. It says nothing it means nothing to the people of Yonkers. It's misleading. What means something are all the Bad reviews these owners get about their restaurants.
