We are staying locally for a family trip and have two nights this week and our 5yo son describes the kids pizza as "delicious " (and he's not a bit pizza fan!!). Husband enjoyed the chicken wings and ceasar salad and enjoyed these. I tried the beef tacos (a bit too spicy for me, but so flavourful) and then the shrimp pad tai- I asked for less spice and it was delicious. The service was great- seated quickly and orders taken promptly, and drinks/ food arrived quickly. Even though they were busy and had a few bigger parties. We also want to add that Lizzie at the front desk went OVER and beyond with how she interacted with our 5yo. She spoke to him so politely and gave him a personalised cup especially for his stuffy- and then the same the second night. Sounds silly, but it was really a big gesture for our son and stuck with him as part of his memories from this trip. As someone whose worked in customer service the bad experiences are easy to write about, but the great ones, need the time putting in, and given how far Lizzie went for our son, it needed a mention. We had my parents' 50th wedding anniversary here, hosted by the AMAZING Austin and Mary!!! The food and drinks were great, and the event space was ideal. But I really can't say enough good things about our hosts Austin and Mary, they took such good care of EVERYONE - roughly 50-60 people. They kept the drinks and food flowing with ease and with huge smiles on their faces! It's been a year since our last visit and we're even more impressed this time than last year. We tend to stop here for lunch on our way home from Holland back to the Ann Arbor area. The parking lot is large so we can fit our RV and truck out back. The space is dark and cool in the summer. Lunch is fairly slow but the kitchen is still hot. We started with the beer cheese appetizer that came out hot and fresh. My husband had the gravity burger. It looked so good I had to try a bite. SO delicious! I am not a burger fan but this one I would order. Light bun, crispy sweet and savoy bacon really set off the flavor. I had a salad with salmon that was just right. Nothing remarkable, just done well. The prices were reasonable, service was fine. We will make this a regular stop when passing through, for sure. read more

I have been meaning to go to Gravity since like, I turned 21, which was an embarrassingly long time ago, but I'm glad I finally made it! (And of course, I made it during Sober November, so it didn't even matter that I was of drinking age I've heard their tap list is pretty great though!) I decided to order the buffalo chicken lasagna! Ngl, when they first brought it out I was STARVING, and thought, "Oh, that is NOT gonna be enough food for me." However, I was pleasantly surprised at how stuffed my belly was afterwards! My fiancé got the spicy chicken sandwich, and he is a BIG spice guy so it wasn't like, really up there in spice for him, but the chicken was really juicy and he added some hot sauce and all was well! (And our waiter was super up front about it probably not being very spicy if heat was your gig, so he knew what he was getting himself into!) We came right at your typical dinner time, and there were some big groups, so there was quite the wait, but it really cleared out around 6:30ish and probably would've been no wait at all! read more

It was a around 2pm Saturday and we were looking for lunch. Found this restaurant. It was snuggled among a bank and a hotel but right on a major roadway so it had to have a ton of traffic. I was worried we were not going to get in. The parking lot was large and spaces close to the door. Found a lot of posters with Information on gift cards or up and coming events like Valentine's day paired by the entrance. We were greeted by the hostess and seated quickly. Surprised because the facility looked full but as you walked through I realized it was a very large space. We were seated at a table under these glass lights and I appreciated that the globes were clean; with these hanging over the tables and our food it would not have been pleasant if dusty but thankfully the establishment was clean and so were the fixtures. Our waiter Austin was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. He suggested the blood orange Margarita and it did not disappoint. We had a little of everything. The tater tots and wings for the happy hour. Oh yes you read that right... We had The brisket, chili and the beer cheese soup. Chili was perfect with taste and the temperature. The beer cheese was very cheesey and hit the spot but could have been warmer. I did let the wait staff know, but the dish was wonderful regardless. We had the teriyaki shrimp bowl and my husband had the mushroom pizza. Everything was delicious. Ingredients fresher than fresh. It was so good we had to have desert and Austin came though again with the suggestion of a peanut butter pie. House made and fabulous! I act boxed up my meal so I could enjoy desert. I was flew in last minute to Grand Rapids from LA to be with my mom in the hospital. She needed to have a kidney removed along with an 8cm tumor on it, and a second tumor removed from her spine. We had expected to hear the worst news when the biopsies came in, but miraculously BOTH tumors turned out to be benign. That night I finally left the hospital and took myself out for a celebratory meal. It was New Year's Eve. I was worried about getting a table, but Gravity was able to seat me right away. My server was so kind (I regret that I can't recall his name as my brain was scattered), but if this review is read he will know who is. :) When he asked how I was that evening, I couldn't help myself. "My mom doesn't have cancer," I blurted out. He was so compassionate, and said that he knew exactly what I was going through. I took his recommendation on a stiff drink (The Old Fashioned was the medicine I needed), and when he came back he said he had talked to the manager and they wanted to offer me a free dessert. Definitely had to hold back tears at that point. The Buddha Bowl with the salmon was nourishing and yummy, and my complimentary Peppermint Cheesecake was SO GOOD. After I finished the manager came over to offer her congratulations and condolences. We chatted for a few minutes and she asked if I was a hugger. "Absolutely," I replied, and she gave me the warmest hug. "That's what we do here," she said. "We want to help people celebrate the good things in life." I was definitely meant to go right to that place, and would 10/10 go back. I love the Midwest. :) read more

They are soft on the inside with a nice flavor on the out with the breakfast sausage. The mustard sauce on the plate was also a nice touch. Reuben Sandwich - Super! Saucy and great flavor. I have never left a bad review anywhere in my life but my experience tonight was so disappointing. My boyfriend and I waited over 20 minutes after we were seated for someone to serve us, provide water, and acknowledge us. Around the 15 minute mark two other people were seated across from us and were approached right away by a server and were given water. Also, it wasn't even busy there so I'm not sure why no one could acknowledge us for over 20 minutes. We left sad and hungry. read more
