Service was great. Although the question on the wine garnered a "we seek a lot of that" but turned out to be young and tart. I like the roadhouse vibe (minus the peanut shells but plus the large tap, wine and drink lists) lighting and nice looking bar area (I sat in dining). Good happy hour (nothing healthy). Tacos were quite tasty (I had the steak, wife had the blackened shrimp - lots of fixings but low amount of protein). Chips were nice but eventually the salt on the chips even overwhelmed me. I have been meaning to go to Gravity since like, I turned 21, which was an embarrassingly long time ago, but I'm glad I finally made it! (And of course, I made it during Sober November, so it didn't even matter that I was of drinking age I've heard their tap list is pretty great though!) I decided to order the buffalo chicken lasagna! Ngl, when they first brought it out I was STARVING, and thought, "Oh, that is NOT gonna be enough food for me." However, I was pleasantly surprised at how stuffed my belly was afterwards! My fiancé got the spicy chicken sandwich, and he is a BIG spice guy so it wasn't like, really up there in spice for him, but the chicken was really juicy and he added some hot sauce and all was well! (And our waiter was super up front about it probably not being very spicy if heat was your gig, so he knew what he was getting himself into!) We came right at your typical dinner time, and there were some big groups, so there was quite the wait, but it really cleared out around 6:30ish and probably would've been no wait at all! read more

Our waitress was incredibly inattentive - my husband waited about 15 minutes for a drink refill, and after being asked almost immediately if we were ready to order and asking for a couple of minutes to look at the menu, it was about 12-15 before she came back to take our order. App & entrees took forever to arrive as well, and they were not busy at all. read more

It was a around 2pm Saturday and we were looking for lunch. Found this restaurant. It was snuggled among a bank and a hotel but right on a major roadway so it had to have a ton of traffic. I was worried we were not going to get in. The parking lot was large and spaces close to the door. Found a lot of posters with Information on gift cards or up and coming events like Valentine's day paired by the entrance. We were greeted by the hostess and seated quickly. Surprised because the facility looked full but as you walked through I realized it was a very large space. We were seated at a table under these glass lights and I appreciated that the globes were clean; with these hanging over the tables and our food it would not have been pleasant if dusty but thankfully the establishment was clean and so were the fixtures. Our waiter Austin was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. He suggested the blood orange Margarita and it did not disappoint. We had a little of everything. The tater tots and wings for the happy hour. Oh yes you read that right... We had The brisket, chili and the beer cheese soup. Chili was perfect with taste and the temperature. The beer cheese was very cheesey and hit the spot but could have been warmer. I did let the wait staff know, but the dish was wonderful regardless. We had the teriyaki shrimp bowl and my husband had the mushroom pizza. Everything was delicious. Ingredients fresher than fresh. It was so good we had to have desert and Austin came though again with the suggestion of a peanut butter pie. House made and fabulous! I act boxed up my meal so I could enjoy desert. Nothing disappointed here. I did use the restroom as well and it was very clean and well stocked. Great stop to kick off February! read more

I was flew in last minute to Grand Rapids from LA to be with my mom in the hospital. She needed to have a kidney removed along with an 8cm tumor on it, and a second tumor removed from her spine. We had expected to hear the worst news when the biopsies came in, but miraculously BOTH tumors turned out to be benign. That night I finally left the hospital and took myself out for a celebratory meal. It was New Year's Eve. I was worried about getting a table, but Gravity was able to seat me right away. My server was so kind (I regret that I can't recall his name as my brain was scattered), but if this review is read he will know who is. :) When he asked how I was that evening, I couldn't help myself. "My mom doesn't have cancer," I blurted out. He was so compassionate, and said that he knew exactly what I was going through. I took his recommendation on a stiff drink (The Old Fashioned was the medicine I needed), and when he came back he said he had talked to the manager and they wanted to offer me a free dessert. Definitely had to hold back tears at that point. The Buddha Bowl with the salmon was nourishing and yummy, and my complimentary Peppermint Cheesecake was SO GOOD. After I finished the manager came over to offer her congratulations and condolences. We chatted for a few minutes and she asked if I was a hugger. "Absolutely," I replied, and she gave me the warmest hug. "That's what we do here," she said. "We want to help people celebrate the good things in life." I was definitely meant to go right to that place, and would 10/10 go back. I love the Midwest. :) read more

We thought we might be annoying the other guests with how loud we were, but when you're outside the room, you really can't hear too much of what's happening inside! (Would think this is great for team meetings or larger events) Our food came out quickly, was always hot, and our drinks were all great. The prices were higher than they should have been for what you got, but not outrageous. The service was pretty good but the server had absolutely zero personality or sense of humor. I have never left a bad review anywhere in my life but my experience tonight was so disappointing. My boyfriend and I waited over 20 minutes after we were seated for someone to serve us, provide water, and acknowledge us. Around the 15 minute mark two other people were seated across from us and were approached right away by a server and were given water. Also, it wasn't even busy there so I'm not sure why no one could acknowledge us for over 20 minutes. We left sad and hungry. read more

Cool atmosphere, but tons of kids. Really nice beer list. Great bloody Mary. The buttermilk-brined chicken sandwich with lemon hot honey was delicious. The junkyard corned beef sandwich tasted fried instead of "pulled" and lacked salt, which was crazy. The bacon on it was the best part. The bacon burger got a "meh" review from my father in law. Service was VERY slow. Nobody took our drink order until we were ready to order our full meal and then food took 30 minutes to come out. We were in a hurry and this was not a hurry place. read more

The decor was modern, the patio is nice and enclosed with heat lamps, the restaurant clean, and there was plenty on the menu to choose from. The one issue I struggled with at this place was the service. The wait staff was always noticeably absent and it took awhile to even get drinks let alone food. I would go again. read more

Most recently I ordered the Reuben and the Scotch Eggs... both were excellent. Scotch Eggs App - Comes in pairs of two split in half (so perfect for a group of 4). They are soft on the inside with a nice flavor on the out with the breakfast sausage. The mustard sauce on the plate was also a nice touch. Reuben Sandwich - Super! Saucy and great flavor. The slaw is fresh and the pulled meat is perfectly salty. Comes with chips or sub in fries... I asked for Brussels. Which were good too. Fun atmosphere as well. Recommend! read more
