I first took it to another shop, where they kept it for two days before telling me it was a transmission issue they couldn't repair. The estimate? Around $3,000. For an older vehicle that we plan to hand down to our soon-to-be teenage driver, that was a tough pill to swallow. Thankfully, I decided to try Frisco Automotive through the Old Town Frisco Yiftee program, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding. The gentleman at the front desk immediately understood my description of the problem and took the time to personally test drive the vehicle. We even ended up having a fun conversation about Ohio and the Cleveland Browns while discussing the symptoms. What impressed me most was that they didn't just accept the previous diagnosis. They investigated the issue themselves and discovered it wasn't the transmission at all. A support mount for the engine had come loose. They repaired it, then personally drove the vehicle again, including taking it up to highway speeds, to verify the hesitation was completely gone. The result? A repair bill under $1,000 instead of a $3,000 transmission replacement. On top of that, they offered transportation assistance, including rides home and back to the shop when the vehicle was ready. That level of service is rare these days. Honest diagnosis, knowledgeable technicians and outstanding customer service. Frisco Automotive has absolutely earned my future business, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy repair shop.

I guess dropping of vehicle means they work on truck when they feel like it. I had two other items I replaced myself that took me 15 minutes each they had on estimate to change. Example: transfer speed sensor $124 for part then an hour to replace at $225. The cost of parts are doubled and they charge $225 an hour for labor which is dealership high cost end. My bad I should have researched labor cost. i will not use them again.

I had some questions for him and I knew the answer but I wanted to see if they had repaired my car properly. This manager kept giving me the wrong answer insisting he was right. I asked to speak to the mechanic who worked on my car and told me that he had repaired it the way I knew it needed to be done. This was after the manager kept insisting that it wasn't necessary to be repaired that way. Well the manager was wrong. When the manager and I were speaking with the mechanic I looked at the manager and said see you were wrong. The manager didn't say a word and just walked away no apology nothing. Not sure I'll ever go back there again. Later I sent an email asking for an apology and never got any response. The manager doesn't seem to care about the customer.
