I came here because I had a promotion for a free haircut from the Warriors game. I also come a few other times since then. Places like Great Clips and Supercut are always hit and miss. The few times I have been here they have been ok. Some of the stylist are fast and straight to the point. My hair isn't that complicated. Clippers on the side and chop some hair off the top. I pretty much need to get my hair cut every 6 to 8 weeks. The good thing about this place is they put in my previous hair cuts I asked. That way I do not have to worry about if someone didn't understand me. Makes life easier for me. read more

This place is okay overall and I come here for mine and my son's haircut but I don't understand how the management is okay with how NANCY treats customers. She refused to cut my teenage son's hair when I requested to do a little improvement, she refused to wipe off the hair when done and never apologized for the treatment and walked away. I've been going to this Great Clips forever. Probably around 20 years. But today was the last day. I think I ended up with a woman named Jenny Truongs based on the name placard and she was absolutely atrocious. She said maybe two words to me the entire time and was super rough and was cutting random as hell. Didn't even say "Thank you" or anything at the end. My hair has never looked this bad and uneven and I have the most basic white person hair ever lol. I could tell that she obviously just cared about getting the job done so she could move on to the next person. Whoever hired this person here should be ashamed. It's finally time to find an actual legitimate barber and move on from this place. read more

I don't get haircuts very frequently. My go to barber closed shop and I needed a haircut in a pinch. I've come to great clips, and they're usually passable. This time, no matter how much I told the woman to not alter length, just clean up my neck and thin out my sides (I'm growing out my hair) she proceeded to use clippers and cut away much of my length. This was after she kept interrupting my request saying "I kno I kno" Won't be coming here again. Even if you're in a pinch, or want relatively simple work done, they won't understand you (either due to the language barrier or the fact that they don't really care about your specific requests.) This review is more so a reminder for me to not come back. For others, heed my warning or you'll walk away irritated. I may contact the manager. read more

My normal girl is on vacation and I was in need of a haircut, I thought hey why not if it turns out bad it will be ok in a couple of weeks, and since I am devilishly handsome anyways nothing could go wrong. Leiu was the nice young lady that greeted me and invited me to sit in her chair. I asked for scissor cut and to take off about 1 inch. She was quick and did a great job. I'm still the kinda guy that spares no expense to look good. GREAT clips? You betcha. Actually, my hair grows really, really fast. I need to get my hair cut every two weeks and it would be too expensive to go to a fancy schmancy salon, so I go here. I think I've been getting my hair cut at Great Clips for about 4 or 5 years now. As soon as I walk in, everybody says hello to me. Everybody that works here has cut my hair and they all know my name and how I want my hair cut - SHORT. Short and sweet: Ask for Anne if you need a haircut. She's beautiful, and not in a super hurry to get you in and out. She remembered that I had a daughter(I'm sure they post that info on their computer for reference), but it shows that they make an attempt to not treat you like just another "head o hair". I've been going here for many years and have never been disappointed. While it seems like I might have simple hair to cut, it is in fact not so easy to do right. (tried it myself a few times, bad idea) Uneven lengths show up very quickly with straight, coarse, blonde hair. This place is similar to any bargain haircutting place, in that the staff changes all the time, and is cheap ($13) but they handle the turnover by keeping your preferred style in their database, so when you come back in, they know what you want already. Two stylists that I have had good cuts from: Aysha and Danarae - they're a cut above the rest! read more

I went here once because of the reviews and figured it'd give me a solid, if uninspired, haircut. Sadly the stylist was in a major hurry for some reason and hacked at my head like he was shearing a sheep. I think I made it clear what I wanted, showed him pictures, and asked for the right corrections when it looked like he was going astray. Despite this he seemed unable to accomplish what I wanted, which was not a particularly difficult haircut to give. The stylist was very polite the entire time, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. In the end the cut was extremely uneven and looked so awful I went to another place to get it fixed, and they had no problem making my hair look like the picture I provided. read more

Great Clips is usually a hit or miss I got a good cut fade from Eric 9 am Monday. Would highly recommend coming in Mon-Wed morning when he is in the shop, fast, efficient, and clean haircuts from him. I don't talk that much when I get my haircut and he respected that just asking what I needed overall a great experience for 20 bucks and 5 for tip. :) read more

Ask for Jenny. Jenny is a great hairstylist; she's super sweet, considerate, and does a great job in a reasonable amount of time. I drag my boyfriend out to get a haircut whenever I get tired of looking at him try to cut his hair himself, and she's also who I go to when I'm looking for a cut (she really listens when you tell her the length you're looking for, which isn't too common in my experience). We usually come in with a picture for her reference, and she gets to work. She gently gives her input on what she thinks would work for you, which shows her professionalism and experience. I arrived at 5:15 pm and checked in with a name and phone number (I was not in their system). The lobby was full and I stood there for 2 minutes thinking I had to wait like all the others. To my surprise I was called to the chair by a woman named Chi. She asked my how I wanted my hair cut and she measured the length a few times to be sure that is what I wanted, She was listening to my needs and she cut it just they way I wanted. 10 minutes later I was headed for the door. I was given a free haircut coupon for giving blood at the hospital and I gave it to Chi thinking that the store would not honor the coupon. She scanned the barcode, I gave her a tip and out the door I went. Great service. read more

My experiences at Great Clips have been fantastic. I love the way they know what I got last time and are ready to give me the same thing if that's what I want. I usually wait for my hair to get out to about 3/4-1" long before having it cut back to a #1 (summer) or #2 (winter). Invariably, this leads to a lot of verification from the stylist that I _REALLY_ want my hair that short. This place is different. Since they can see in their database that I was happy with that last time, they accept that I know what I mean and cut my hair. I've never gotten a bad cut from them, and the staff is pleasant and efficient. This place is about 20 miles out of my way most of the time these days, but I still come to them for my hair cuts. read more

Really love Eric. He listens well. But he is always busy :) My husband and I came in on a whim to get a much needed haircut. I won't vouch for him, although his cut was amazingly done well. But my lady, Laura? did an excellent job. it takes forever for my hair to even grow but the ends where so dry it felt like broom bristles. I had to do something. She gave me a much needed trim with some long layers and everything felt wonderful. She put some spray on my hair that smelled like strawberries, my hair stayed shiny and frizzless for two days. I went here and got a haircut and the stylist here just completely did everything opposite of what I asked. I asked for a high fade, she gave me a low one, I asked for a level 6 cut on the top, she went as low as a level 4, I asked her to blend my fade in, and you can clearly see 2 levels in the fade. I don't get it... She didn't listen to a word I said. Her attitude was basically, "I don't care what you want, I'm gonna do what I want." The haircut quality varies depending on the stylist, but I have always had more great haircuts here than bad ones. Just always double check your sideburns before you leave, that's where they have made mistakes on my hair the most with one being longer than the other. I would rate the chain higher, but their prices continue to rise. I doubt I will be coming here again because it seems like each time I come the price has increased. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. I just wanted to buzz my hair to a #2. This did not happen, no matter how many times I said this. I eventually gave up and just let her out. I asked for short and kept having to push. Then she said j needed Product. Which I made clear I don't use. Finally having just gievn up in getting what I want it came time to pay. I went to slide my card and she started push for a tip. When I went to slide my card without giving a tip she pushed my card away and pushed more for a tip. Nothing about this experience was good. I'm going to find a Barber tomorrow and get what I actually want. I should have refused to pay, but I was just tired of fighting. read more

This review is solely based off May. I started coming here after i moved back from college. I didn't really want to overspend on a mediocre haircut from super cuts so I tried this place out. I walk in and they ask for my phone number. They input the type of haircut you get with your number so they don't need to ask you what kind of haircut you want the next time. I think it's pointless as I always tell May what I want exactly anyways. But to each it's own. May is super nice and makes good conversation. She could also not say a word if you're the anti haircut talking type. You get a solid haircut at a reasonable price. *They have this app where you can check in before you get there so you don't have to wait too long upon arrival. read more

I love the fact that you can walk into this place without an appt. They also keep your info on file, so when you get there, they ask for your phone #, and BAM, all your info is there. They have on file how they cut your hair the last time, and even ask if you want the same cut. The people are super nice here, they do a great job. And even better, they are great with kids. That helps out a lot especially when you have little ones. read more

Had the worst experience of my life.. Nancy - lady who had cut my hair had a very bad attitude.. She didn't know how to cut the haircut I had asked for, instead kept putting on my hair that it cannot be done because of my hair texture - this was the first time I came across something like this.. Beware Horrible experience in the Salon with some folks who have no experience and horrible attitude.. this lady lily with such a bad attitude.. I kept telling her to keep the hair over 10 and she doesn't understand and says my trimmer has only 8.. I had to tell her to use ur scissors instead of machine.. she cut under 8 anyways and unevenly.. she was treating me like cattle. When I told her she screwed up she started shouting at me..
