Have gone to the 2525 Vista Way Great Clips multiple times, was seen by Kelsy?, think she's the manager, and both my daughter and I were impressed with her skill. Tried to go a couple weeks ago, but while we were waiting Kelsy left, so we decided to wait. Booked online again today, 86 min wait, and again, Kelsy left while we were sitting waiting. Getting a cut from someone used to giving military buzz cuts isn't worth waiting an hour and a half. I would have liked to have paid (and tipped) Kelsy for her skills, but considering she couldn't be bothered to communicate her availability, I guess the work ethic is quantity over quality. Considering we've had our time wasted twice, why would we continue to frequent a business that doesn't care about their customers? read more

I will probably never return to Great Clips In the Fire Mountain Center. They're so financially secure that they can turn away customers even during their regular business hours. read more

Will NOT go back, got a bad haircut there but decided to give them a second chance. I called, checked in and requested a different stylist. I arrived a few minutes early, waited 20 minutes then I was told I wasn't next. They were rude, unprofessional and didn't give a damn. Walk in was quick and the waiting time for others was 28 max. I guess the regular haircut was hmmm moderate for just cutting no blow dry or anything. It was not more than 10 minute to get the haircut as I only needed my split ends. Updating this review again 09/25 This place sucks I came here bout a month and a half ago before this time and they totally messed up my hair, but I figured it was probably because I had a coupon. Thats my fault I guess. Anyways today I tried to check in and again I was met with that they can't cut my hair because "no one does fades at this time" they called 5 minutes before check in so I was already there my time is wasted now. I only went because they had a really good deal that now is going to expire due to this location's incompetence. They don't answer the phone either. Not sure if this location is understaffed or what but literally do not go here. It's absolutely horrible. Well, apparently, that's a bad thing because if anyone shows up behind me and checks in online, they go first, no matter how long I have been waiting. That's messed up because I could be waiting for 30-40 minutes, and someone who checked in online goes ahead of me. TERRIBLE. I know it's luck of the draw, but you don't want to pull the short straw with stylists here. I get a very simple haircut, nice and short, and the stylist I got yesterday was the worst. Butchered my hair and didn't even ask how any of the sections were (length on sides and top, cutting over ears, edges on the back). Spent the entire haircut talking to another employee, then dumping about how she "doesn't want to rush her boyfriend into a wedding" until I was out of the chair. Didn't remember to offer product until I was at the register. Every stop along the way was missed and now, after letting it settle a day, it's just a mess. Don't trust the highly rated reviews like I did, believe me. They must not be paying attention or just get their heads buzzed. Some people may be lucky and get a good stylist, but it's not going to be common. Just pay a few more dollars somewhere else. read more

I checked in online and when I arrived they had two stylists working on two sibling boys. Apparently the male stylist was doing a great job per the father and the female stylist, not so much. The female stylist became visibly upset and left the working area to take her lunch, despite that there were many people waiting, including myself. She did not even have the professional courtesy to inform waiting customers. The male stylist had to correct her cut on the sibling whose hair she cut. Very immature and unprofessional female stylist. Don't waist your time. I give 1 star for the male stylist! read more

Went in for a trim and had my hair chopped up. Hair is curly so I couldn't see anything wrong, but after I straightened it, there's chunks on the top of my hair that was taken off. No, it's not from my hair falling out because my hair was never like this until after the cut. You can even tell it was freshly cut there too. Did not ask for layers, just a trim. I should have figured something was off when I was told that my hair was "breaking off in the middle". I have a lot of split ends, definitely, but my hair never looked like THIS. Even my friends saw something wrong as I straightened it. Will have to pay more for someone else to blend it in. read more

I walk In Again never been to this location the first thing the hair stylist says is "DID U CHECK in ONLINE " I said NO did I HAVE Too!!! She said NO but you need a MASK! We still have to wear mask here!!! Again I'm getting my 9 yr old daughter a hair cut !! We go get our mask and he'll yes !! I walk back in there and ask her if she is the manger and she said no I said u where very unprofessional and that wasn't the way u should greet people!!! This is the way it should go!!! Just got an absolute shit haircut, Tammi cuts hair like a trucker of an 18 wheeler. Haircuts here are inconsistent some barbers do a half decent job. If you're like looking to get a fade, go to stud cuts and spend the extra $10. When I asked if I could get my fade lower she grabs my head with one hand like a weight lifter and runs the exact same buzzer over my head for a second time like it did something. I thought it was a shitty joke, but it was actually just a shitty barberI almost felt like saying, "you know that's the exact same buzzer right?". The worst experience ever I ask for specific hair style, I discuss with the lady the hair cut and even show her a pic. For what I want she ask me couple times if I was sure to cut my hair and said ones the I cut is not going back, I thought it was because my hair was pretty long but I never thought the she will be so incompetent... Hate hate hate this haircut! I suppose anyone can make a mistake so I won't mention her name. It was the way the mistake was dealt with that makes this intolerable! Someone who has cut my hair many times, and always uses a #6 clipper on the BACK of my head, suddenly decides to use that same short clipper on the SIDE of my head. SUPER short now and an entirely different look that I did NOT want! She just plays it off and says "Short hair looks good on you". When I ask about the thinning shears she usually uses on the sides, she says "oh, it looks like because of your age you don't need that anymore" - when in fact the ACTUAL reason she can't use the thinning shears is because THE HAIR ON THE SIDE OF MY HEAD IS NOW 1/4 INCH LONG!! The moral of this story is - if you screw up, just own it and don't try to con your way out. I would still not be happy with a bad haircut but without the con job I probably would have gotten over it and gone back for my next cut. read more

I never like to give bad reviews as I know they run the risk of tarring all employees with the same brush. Having said that, I have to say that my experience just now was not a good one and in fact was awkward beyond belief. Whoever the woman was cutting my hair took something I said that wasn't meant to be political and made it a political thing going off about Q'Anon conspiracy theories. I stayed diplomatic and played ignorant about much of what she was talking about, but needless to say this isn't okay and it just put a nasty taste in my mouth. I still tipped her generously despite the behavior but I could not get out of there fast enough and probably won't be coming back. That said, I don't wish that this woman lose her job. I just hope that she learns to mind her environment and perhaps have a talking to. The cosmetologist was very rude to me every time she combed she yanked my hair and it put me in tears. One of the times she did it I moved my head after she yanked my hair and she asked me not to move my head. So After she was done ripping my hair out of my head it was horribly lopsided and I did have bedhead but she blamed the whole incident on me. In short, I will never come back ever again, and yes Julia thank you for giving me this horrible experience. read more

Horrible experience here yesterday! I have been going to Great Clips for years all over the US with my son and for myself. So far all locations have been consistent in descent service, short wait times if you check in first and great prices. Not this one. $16 when all other locations charge $13, boo. I checked in at shortly before 6 pm, 30 min wait time I came back at 6.20 and still waited till 7 pm! One lady working the front desk meaning she was able to complete one hair cut in that hour, the other girl was just sitting there talking to friends for the ENTIRE time I was there! I set us for two people to get their hair cut which came up on the screen and once my son was done an hour after appointment time she said i would have to be added on the bottom of the list, now 5 people in front of me. Telling her the screen showed two check ins with my name and that I just wanted a quick trim she let me, snipped twice, said done and i was in the seat less than one minute! I had a coupon for $2 off each cut which she would not let me use. She could not find us in the computer so we had to explain how we like it cut which she did not understand, my son said this was the worst cut ever and that she was not nice at all and I agree. I would NEVER return to this location, horrible service, high prices and way too long of a wait time, AVOID!!!! read more

She's very attentive nude zactly what I wanted... I'm starting to lose hair in areas where I wish I was growing it and she paid attention to everything I needed.
