Great clips in Montgomery Village was awful. I signed up on line and waited my turn. When my turn came up, there was NO ONE else there waiting. But, the woman said she couldn't help me because there had to be " 2 people on the floor at all times " . There was literally no one else waiting but she would not help me. Great service but terrible haircut. I asked for a zero fade meaning no clip attachment for the fade instead I get a number one fade. I don't think they know what zero fade means. I asked for a minimum trim on the top just to make sure everything is even. I got home I showered and my hair is uneven. I paid and tipped also. I won't be coming back to this location. read more

My grandma was looking for a new salon to get her haircut but wanted a place that would do it cheaper than what she was normally paying. I ended up coming across Great Clips and called to see how much it would be and my grandma didn't believe me when I told her the senior price. At first she was nervous because it wasn't like the typical beauty salon she goes to and she thought the cheap price would make them mess her hair up, but after reading the reviews and seeing some of the posted photos I was able to convince her it would come out fine. She said she got her hair did by a woman with braids which I believe was Gloria says the receipt but maybe that was the cashier, I'm not sure but whoever it was did amazing and it came out beautiful! I had two haircuts separated by about six months at the Montgomery Village Great Clips. Both haircuts were quite well done. I didn't have to wait long to get started, thanks to the check in online system they have. I enjoyed the experience with the first, very pleasant hair stylist who cut my hair the first time (sorry, cannot recall her name). I found the second stylist rude and irritable and she really didn't seem to want to be working at that moment or on me or both. I called to report my concerns and it was at an 800 number for Great Clips overall. The person at the call center took the info and said it would be forwarded to the manager or the owner and I should receive a call from that person. I never heard from anyone, which wasn't encouraging. So in a nutshell, good haircut, reasonable prices, not a long wait, but the experience can really vary depending on who you get by chance. I would go back but would wait for another stylist if the rude one was there. read more

Monumental waste of time. Been getting my hair cut here for years but lately the service has gone way downhill. Checked in via app and said 24 minute wait. Ended up being well over 90 minutes. They've cut their hours too. Kind of hard to get in before 6 on a weekday and don't really want to waste an entire day off getting a haircut on the weekend. 2 Hairstylists left with customers waiting for haircuts leaving only 2 left to take care of the 6 people waiting already. Really poor customer service on top of the prices steadily climbing over the past two years. I guess I'll have to start looking for a new place to get my hair cut. read more

I moved to Santa Rosa a couple months ago but I work various hours so it's hard for me to find a place to get my haircut when they're opened. I miss my same hair stylist 4 years and I worried about going somewhere and screwing up my hair. But the couple times I went in it's an hour wait so I cancelled, but today was 20 minutes that was okay and I got this guy Ruben, who seriously loves doing hair, and it came out so great! I seriously recommend him, and definitely I will keep going to him even though there's a lot of hair stylist in Santa Rosa. My hair is now too short for anything but to wait for it to grow enough to to be trimmed and evened by a competent stylist. After you are skipped in line multiple times you will be led to a station manned by a poor soul that is underpaid and willing to complain about it. Gossip is squacked about readily so you will find out a great deal about the underbelly of Great Clips Farmer's Lane.
