We were really looking forward to trying this place and I'm sad to say it wasn't what I was hoping for. The service was very slow and the food was good, but nothing I'd go out of my way to have again.

If Michael T. and Yelp ever host a Battle of the breakfast spots I need to be there. This would need to be one of the places everyone should visit. Just this past weekend I had a chance to visit Los Altos and it did not disappoint. The ambiance felt vaguely familiar, similar to another breakfast spot closer in town, but regardless I was hungry. The wait was about 15 minutes for a party of two. We waited inside what appeared to be a busy Saturday morning with families coming in to get their fix. I'm feeling sweet and savory today. A Tres Leches French toast combo with bacon, scrambled eggs and country style potatoes. Fritzie W. loves her eggs benedict. Almost any flavor, any style, covered in a salsa de verde for her Los Altos bene. Man, the flavors. The French toast was delicious, the tres leches sauce, wasn't too sweet, but just enough to let you know it means business. So good. You can't go wrong with eggs, bacon and potatoes. Fritzie's let me try her Benedict it was really good, prepared right--flavorful, savory. Nothing prepared was overdone, the servings were satisfying and our waitress was kind and accommodating along with the manager that shift having visited our table briefly to see how we were enjoying our meal. Truly a satisfying experience. The price, affordable for two, under $40. You can't beat that. Granted Pyramid Way is a bit of a trek, if you're out this way, check them out. Tell them I sent you. They won't do anything special for you, but just remind them I'll be back lol.

The food here was amazing! The one downside would be that I had to request syrup and the server took a while to return for me to even ask after she delivered my order. Overall this place is local to my cousins place and I will definitely make another trip to this place to grab some breakfast when im in the area again. The location was very well placed and a great location to grab food and shop.

    Chile relleno omelette.

Love from Southern California! Found this gem after a ball game. It's only from 7-2:30 and I can see why they don't need to stay open all day. We were seated quickly. Our server came to ask for our drink order promptly. And we didn't even wait a long time for our food to come out even though there were big parties here. I ordered the chile relleno omelette, which is new on their menu. It did not disappoint! The omelette itself is covered in a red sauce that is not spicy. The relleno inside had a little spice and the queso fresco was plentiful. The country potatoes were a great compliment to the dish! My son and husband ordered the eggs benefits and they stated it was good. My orange juice was fresh and good. Check these guys out if you're ever in the area!

let me just tell you the only good thing about this place was the front staff. The lady by the name of Wendy was kind and sweet although she talked to this place up. I was nothing but sold short. I was really looking forward to having the food here as I seen a bunch of people waiting to eat and reading the Yelp reviews and looking at the stars Boy was I in for something else the food was extremely nasty. I ordered the chili with rice and beans with green sauce instead they brought me a red sauce which tasted like tomato sauce. The rice was burnt, and the beans were bland. My mother ordered the Chilaquiles the meat was burnt. There was a bunch of fat, and almost seemed like it was boiled first that Chilaquiles were soaked in red sauce were soggy. not to mention they want to charge for chips and salsa. Never have I ever been to a Mexican restaurant the charges for chips and salsa. My aunt got the most basic waffle with eggs and hashbrowns extremely plain. How could you go wrong right well they managed. It had no flavor and was not great at all. Needless to say I really wished that this place was gonna get a great review from me. Unfortunately, it wasn't ambience. There's not even an ambience in there.. forget trying to ask questions about the menu. I asked initially when I came in if the chili Riano had a lot of egg only to be told in Spanish it's made with dugh I know that I know how to cook. I was asking a simple question because every restaurant makes them differently.

Pancake Combo with country potatoes and bacon

My girlfriends and I met here for Sunday brunch. The server was very attentive and quick to fulfill our requests even with how wildly busy the restaurant was. The food was delicious and it was hard to choose which meal to order. I ordered the pancake combo and they let me swap out my eggs for more bacon; I'm one of those people who love breakfast, but hate eggs. The bacon was crispy, thick, and sweet. The potatoes were seasoned very well and had bell peppers and onions, yum. And the pancakes tasted better than a lot of other restaurants in town. I will definitely be coming here again!

The atmosphere here is one of hospitality and welcome. Once you start coming, you will begin to feel like family. I love that they have gluten-free bread for sandwiches and breakfast. This place is highly popular. It is always busy. It is my favorite breakfast /lunch spot in the Spanish Springs area. The menu is extensive and full of a variety of dietary needs. My favorite items here are the Fajita or the All Meat skillets. There is so much food that I always leave with leftovers and breakfast the next day. The Fajita skillet is served with three eggs any style and a choice of toast. It comes with country potatoes, onions, peppers, tomatoes, cheese, and the option of steak, chicken, or shrimp. I love to get my potatoes extra crispy and gluten-free toast. The All Meat Skillet is served with three eggs and a choice of toast. It has country potatoes, onions, tomatoes, peppers, ham, applewood smoked bacon, sausage, jack, and cheddar cheese. My husband and son tell me that the biscuits and gravy are incredible. They often ask for the gravy on the side. That way, if they can't eat it all, they can get the biscuits and gravy to go. During the holidays, they have their windows painted and decorated. It is located near Bank of America, Kohl's, and Walmart.

We went on a Sunday morning, and oh my gosh - it was so busy! We waited about 20 minutes to be seated and another 30 minutes for our food to come out. The food was good overall. We ordered the Ramon Skillet and the carne asada. I really liked the Ramon Skillet - it was packed with flavor and had a nice touch. The pancakes that came with it were absolutely delicious: warm, fresh, and so good. My boyfriend's parents enjoyed the carne asada. Personally, I thought it was a little dry and tough, but they liked everything else that came on the plate. All of ours breakfast came out a bit pricey. It is a good breakfast spot with lots of tables. If you're stopping by during a rush hour, just know you will wait quite a bit for food. Overall, definitely recommend because there is Mexican and american fusion items!

While driving through, I searched Yelp for breakfast spots and picked Los Altos. Plenty of parking and place had just opened for the day. Didn't know what to expect but we ordered a variety of breakfast dishes. Everything was satisfying, hit the spot and refueled us so we could continue on our travels.

    Mexican omelet with beana

Chicken fried steak so big it hangs over your plate! Beans on point and the Mexican Omelet was so tasty. Definitely a repeat! Service was fantastic, prices are good and the booths are super comfy. Amazing smells throughout the dining room. One of those places where you're so excited by the smells you can't help but eye hustle your neighboring table's food.

    Bloody Mary and Guava Mimosa
    Marilyn B.

We just moved to this side of town so decided to check out this local and very popular breakfast place. We waited 15 minutes which wasn't too bad. I ordered the Carne Asada and definitely recommend. The meat was juicy and well cooked. My husband ordered the meat lover omelette and was not able to finish it because the it was a very large portion. We want to come back and taste their tres leches pancakes because those look delicious! We were a little bummed with the Bloody Mary because it was nothing special. They did not have bottomless mimosas so if that's what you're looking for then this might not be the place for you. Everything else was great!

Tres Leches waffle with whipped cream, bananas, and strawberries. Absolutely divine!

This place is without a doubt the full 100%. The service is always exceptional. The staff are friendly, very fast, and knowledgeable of the menu and can help when needing a few ideas from the menu. It's always busy, but not chaotic and they do their best to accommodate and offer chairs for people to sit while the wait for a table. It is very clean and well organized, and there's lots of space for big parties. I love the coffee so much. I'm not sure which brand they use, but it's good enough that I honestly don't need milk. You cannot go wrong with the food selection. Every single thing we have tried on the menu so far has been nothing less than amazing, fresh and super hot ( how they hold the plates with bare hands is beyond me, mad respect!) We absolutely love this place so much, and the super nice and hard working people who work here. I'm so excited for our future visits.

    Blackened chicken sandwich
    Nicole H.

Came here twice while visiting my parents-once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both were good meals, but breakfast steals the show. For lunch I had the blackened chicken sandwich, which was good and they definitely know how to make great fries. Breakfast was the Machaca scramble, which I loved! The beef was tender, the serranos reasonably spicy, and the hash browns done just the way I like them. They are very popular for breakfast, and I can see why. Both times service was very friendly and efficient. I'm sure I will be back during future visits.

After parking, there were two doors/exits. We came in from the side and had to walk around to the front. There were a lot of people so we got on the waitlist. There is plenty of space inside to sit and wait. It's a lot larger on the inside than I expected with many tables so the wait was not too long. Once we were seated, we got our drink orders in and the server came to greet us. They had a lot on the menu so it took a bit to look through everything. I got the pancake combo and it was good. They gave me scrambled eggs instead of over medium eggs, and the server was quick to get the kitchen to make the correct eggs. I would love to try other items on the menu because it all looks really good. The atmosphere was decorated for Christmas, and there was a mural on the wall. It felt very cozy like you're being welcomed into someone's home for a meal. It does get very loud since they have so many tables and it is all one large open space. To pay, we go up to the counter. Overall, I am glad we found this place! The service and food were good. Definitely will come back and try other items on the menu.

Here is what we noticed: - Huge breakfast menu. - Nice open and airy atmosphere inside. - My wife and I split the Giant Breakfast Burrito, which was more than enough for two people. There was a $1 split charge, however, which we didn't learn about until we got the bill. - The burrito was very tasty inside with really good tortillas, although the tomato sauce on top tasted like canned sauce. The accompanying hash browns were extra crispy as we requested. - Service was great. - There is a discount given on your bill if you pay in cash. Bottom line: Jack's hit the spot...it's nice to know it's there in case we want to stop for breakfast again sometime when having a vehicle serviced.

We ordered a mix of items for the table: the lobster eggs Benedict, the chorizo omelet, and a panini (two breakfast dishes and one lunch option), and every single bite was delicious. There honestly wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy. It's a little tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area, but they do have plenty of parking, which makes it easier once you get there. The staff was friendly, kind, and incredibly accommodating. We came in with a large group of eight, and while it's typically a self-seating setup, they went out of their way to help us find a table that could fit everyone and made the whole experience seamless. I did not know how it worked to find a table because there were no open tables or staff available. When we finally found a table to sit, there was no one to get us menus and the one staff we saw was busy helping a few other tables. We got frustrated so we left. I saw a couple other customers leave during that time as well. They really need more people working and I am surprised they have such high ratings. At the second location on Plumb Ln, they were crazy busy as well, but they had a manager managing to help speed up cleaning tables and finding tables that were empty for anyone that came in. It felt a lot more welcoming than the first location. As we were waiting, the interior is more modern and has high ceilings which makes it feel a lot more open and comfortable. The wait was about 20 minutes. Once we got a table, our server did not get our drink or food orders for a while. She was busy. I ordered the Fresh Mushroom and Spinach Omelet and it was good; however, everything else on the plate was not visually appetizing or tasted as good as the omelet. My boyfriend ordered the Hungry Man Waffle Combo which come with 2 waffles, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and 2 pieces of sausage. He did the get the sausage and was given 2 extra pieces of bacon instead. This is fine, but we wish someone notified him of the swap. Not sure why they did not have any more sausage either. Overall, I would not come back because both locations are out of the way, and the service and food was not at the level that makes me want to go back.
